They gave me the wrong drink at first but it’s okay cause the matcha drink I did order was delicious 🥹🫶🏼 and the ultimate fries were so good! 10/10 must order.

Hole in the wall. Excellent gluten-free comfort food. Order via their website and pickup at the location. Crispy chicken really is crispy and tasty. Acai bowl is legit as well. Portions are bigger than the pictures suggest. The waffle part of the sandwich is also gluten-free, as is everything they serve. Glad to have found this place after dropping off my dog for boarding at High Tail Hotel 👍 2nd time: crispy chicken burger with fries added (they put it in the burger) is awesome. Looks small-ish but quite dense and filling. Highly recommended 🙌

Food was delicious enough to give a 5 star rating… BUT, the google profile is a bit misleading. There aren’t any dine-in options & it would’ve been helpful to know that beforehand. I still think it’s still totally worth going. Just hope you guys update your page! ♥️

Loved this place! My girlfriend ordered a just perfect cheesy omelette and added spinach. I ordered the breakfast platter with beyond sausage, added jalapeños to my egg. Both platters came with avocado and had 2 sides each, we chose the gf bagel and hashbrowns. Portions are hefty. I truly have a difficult time finding good vegan breakfast spots so when I do I'm def gonna post about it. The person at the window was super helpful and patient while helping us being that we didn't know the menu, the process to order and had a few questions :)

We stopped by on a road trip and the food and service were outstanding. We ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, an omelette, and the ultimate breakfast platter and everything was amazing and ready in 20 minutes. The server at the window was kind enough to make sure we didn’t need extra utensils and even let us use their bathroom.

LOVED the blueberry cheesecake and the mixed berry tart! It was fantastic and such a treat after not having sweets like these in so long! The banana bread and French toast were also good, as was the breakfast sandwich!

I haven't tried anything I didn't like here. Vegan breakfast is hard to find so they really help to fill that need. Just wish they had dine in though. That would have been the full experience! There is a green curb space right out front for you to park while waiting for your food. You can order online and pick it up or you can order at the window. My only issue with ordering online is that you can't modify the order. So for example, if you are allergic to something in one of the items, the website doesn't allow you to write in modifications. So you just have to order at the window in that case.

OMG!!!! Made to perfection. Clean. Fresh ingredients. I can’t believe it’s vegan. Happy Vegan has stole my soul. Happy Vegan— made me a happy yet loyal customer. I found myself googling plant base restaurants. HV was the first one to pop up. I really wanted everything on the menu but I went with the omelette deluxe breakfast meal! 🙌 AMAZING! - It’s worth every penny.

Decided to grab a salad here for breakfast — the portion size was very large, the ingredients were delicious, and the variety of options on the menu made this look like a place I’d like to visit again. The list of available add-ons for the salad was very long, so you can really customize whichever item you choose on the the menu. As an out of state visitor, I was very happy to find a vegan restaurant that was open in the morning to get some food.

This is one of my fav restaurants in sfo. Do not leave this place without an omelette. As an ex carnivore this omelette was probably the best omelette I’ve had even if compared with regular egg omelettes. And get some bacon here as well. Everything is stellar.

We ordered everything off the vegetarian portion of the menu for takeaway. The staff was incredibly nice and gracious. All the dishes were outstanding. Lentils, pumpkin, potato, collards and more. So flavorful and so perfectly prepared. The inside of the restaurant is very charming. I already want to go back and eat inside. You have to try this The Happy Vegan!

I can't speak to the restaurant service or atmosphere (we ordered takeout), but the food is horrible and worse than that way overpriced!! The chicken tenders were so rubbery that I couldn't chew through them. I ordered a veggie sub $25.00 (assuming I would get a roll that was the size in their picture (a footlong) and instead got something similar to a chibbata sandwich (smaller than my hand) with a single layer of veggies (carefully placed to make sure nothing overlapped even once). It felt like I was basically eating a piece of bread with some seasoning for [crazy]. If you are going to eat here, the one dish that was as expected is the egg(less) salad.

Take out only vegan spot. Ordered some lattes and comfort food items… breakfast sandwiches and the crème brûlée waffle. We split the crème brûlée waffle and I’m glad we did. It was very sweet and would have been a bit much to eat for one person. I personally didn’t care too much for the latte but all the food we ordered was delicious.

Super delicious! We enjoyed our beautiful acai bowl, oat milk latte, and vegan cheesecake for breakfast today. A nice addition to the neighborhood.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches with interesting sauces. Great coffee too. No seating available, and not a bike-friendly neighborhood.

Food was so good, I can’t believe it’s vegan! The coffee and tea was excellent as well. Great job to the chef and barista! Always makes my weekdays better. Food arrived in a timely manner as well.

I always love their breakfast sandwiches. It’s exactly what you would expect, even non-vegans love it. Perfect for a quick on the go breakfast. Very nice staff as well

For what it is, it’s 5 stars! We were visiting, and tried a few other spots before coming here but have ate breakfast here 3 days in row now 🤣 it’s definitely a more vegan junk food vibes but so well done ! Gluten free vegan breakfast isn’t easy to come by where we live. My love and I are VERY happy vegans. Thank you 🙏🏻

Yummy vegan junk food! But if u charge 75 cents for sauce... U should remember to put it there.. Otherwise really awesome food after a wild night out ;)

This is a GEM. DEDICATED GLUTEN FREE AND vegan. It is just a pick up window so order ahead but I wish I found this place sooner the pictures I saw originally didn’t really convince me but having it for the first time it was SO good. I can’t wait to have it again.

I never leave bad reviews but this was so terrible I can’t not leave one. I paid $70 on Uber eats for this. Frozen pie. “Latte” with added whip cream that was cold and disgusting looked batched and heated, like it wasn’t even made on the spot. The sandwhich was disgusting, bread was hard. Avocado was black and rotten. Toast was literally pieces of bread untoasted. Absolutely horrendous never support this place.

this place completely exceeded my expectations! I ordered here for breakfast and it’s hard to find a really good full breakfast to buy as a vegan!! everything tasted handmade and it was delicious 💜 especially the donut I loved it! when people refer to food being made with love, this place has that!

food was ridiculously good. i was fighting the urge to not buy one of everything from their breakfast options. was fast and made/ready within 15 minutes of ordering too!
