Unpleasant experience for two nights. Stayed in the larger twin queen bed room. Room was next to elevator and it sounded like a motorcycle everytime the elevator moved. The lobby snack area looks unkempt and unattended. Don't stay in a room that ends in 01. No daily housekeeping even if you request it. Not worth the $300 plus a night. Management is uninterested in making guests happy or taking their concerns seriously. They offered me an equivalent of $20 in points to make up for their inadequate service and room standards. Also double check your bill before leaving the property.

If I could give six stars, I would. Best property in the area by far. I am a regular and the staff knows me and spoils me, but everyone gets that service. Rooms/Beds are very comfortable, lobby and bar/restaurant spacious and inviting. Robes, Slippers? No problem. Outstanding breakfast buffet. But it still comes back to the best-in-class staff. The best.

I stay here at this location often. One it is located near the freeway 210. Lots of places to walk to eat a couple of shopping centers close by. Most of all I have made some good friends here. Thomas, Lisa, and Elise. Thank you guys for all the very warm welcomes as I arrive each and every time. I did have very small issue the last time I visited, I had asked the desk, the very early .or I g person, to have my towels changed out of my room due to a bunch of water that found it way out of my shower door while I was showering. As to my surprise when I returned for the evening this small task was not completed. Very sad to see it was this way!

My room was spacious and clean (and a little odd with a jacuzzi tub/shower in the middle of the bathroom with a full wall window looking into the bedroom. Felt like some sort of honeymoon suite. Might be a plus for others but I’d prefer a standard shower.) One of the two elevators was broken so that was a slowdown being on 6th floor. Bed was very comfy, check-in was easy and cookies were warm even at 9pm.

Very nice appearance and cleanliness overall. Very nice staff. The shower temperature would sometimes fluctuate, and the automatic lights in the bathroom would sometimes turn off while you're in the shower. Very nice wifi, was able to make a conference video call on basic guest wifi without any difficulty. The bed was very firm-- too firm for me

Clean hotel with friendly staff! Free parking to top though the slots were a bit tight! Even after a long day of sightseeing, there was always a spot. There are also tons of restaurants nearby. Breakfast buffet was hearty and the omelette / waffle counter was a bonus. The pool area was also nice and clean. Access to the 210 made it a perfect location to drive to Angeles national park and also DTLA. Our room had a nice view of the hills. If there was one thing that could be better, it would be housekeeping- they seemed to be overworked and service is only on demand. It should be everyday considering that this is a Hilton and not a motel6!!

Honestly, I am never one to write reviews, but I have to give this hotel, management, and staff its props. This hotel is top tier and it shows each and every stay! My husband and I have stayed here all three times we’ve visited LA within less than a year and we plan on continuing to give this hotel our business. We felt so comfortable here our first stay in July 2021, we brought our entire family back out with us December 2021 (that speaks volumes!) Not only are you welcomed to a warm atmosphere, but you’re welcomed with the BEST warm cookies! The amenities are amazing as you have a nice pool, fire pit, hot tub, bar/restaurant, and food and beverage cafe for on-the-go. It’s refreshing walking into a clean, spacious, relaxing room with a beautiful view of the mountains. Anything you’d need, from a microwave to a mini-fridge or entertainment system, the room includes it! You call for service or have any minor issues during your stay? The staff is IMMEDIATELY on top of it! Our last stay was February 2022 over our anniversary weekend. What struck out to me the most is my husband accidentally left his card behind in the hotel room as we had already returned on our flight back home. We immediately got a phone call that housekeeping found it and management offered to express ship it. The absolute best service along with integrity? Please look no further, this hotel is AMAZING!

The little things that a hotels does are the things that will keep me coming back. The warm and welcoming check-in; the warm cookies they give you and the “Welcome Cheryl” message on the television screen when I entered my room; that is the epitome of true customer service; those are the things that melts my heart and will keep me coming back. This is actually my first stay at a Double Tree hotel and I’m sure it won’t be my last. As I pack up to go home, this stay has been great. I give this Hotel 4 stars instead of 5. 5 stars would have been more inside restaurant options or food choices on the menu and as crazy as it may sound, the availability of Pepsi soda; sorry I’m not a Coke fan, Pepsi is my coffee! That’s another little thing that means a lot to me. Other than that, Double Tree Hotel has made a fan of me, “A Great Hotel, with a reasonable price tag! What more can you ask for?

I agree the location and hotel aesthetics look good, however the service is awful. Got there at 7pm and went to the restaurant. I chose a chicken sandwich (which was the only thing I’d eaten all day) and from 11pm onward I spent the night in the bathroom. Missed a morning meeting due to being unwell too. Upon checking out at 6am I told the gentleman in reception what had happened. He said I needed to complete some forms which he would email to me and the manager would call me to register a formal complaint. Turns out none of these things happened. I was in business in Seattle so didn’t get a chance to follow up until the end of the week. I called and spoke to another gentleman who was apologetic, he sent an email to me with both managers in copy. They both ignored the email. Wow, well there you go! Zero care for the customer experience from the management team.

The room is fairly clean. However, there were two bottles of shampoo in the bathroom. I asked the front desk and made a complaint and nothing happened. They handed me hand soap and that’s it. Soundproof is not so great, you can kind of hear people talking in the hallway and people walking above you. (I stayed on the second floor). Service was not the best, the front desk didn’t do anything about the two shampoos. I asked them to bring more towels, but they asked me to come down to get it. I can understand if they were the only person at front desk, but I saw two people standing at the front desk when I walked in. Location was not too bad. A lot of food choices around and Starbucks is walking distance. The hotel was located about 30 minutes from every place we visited. Overall not too bad but also won’t be visiting again.

Although I did not stay overnight 'high school reunion' I did get a chance to walk around. This hotel is very nice and I look forward to staying here next time I am in town. Service and food at my reunion was great. Very proffessionaly presented. I had a grand evening here at the Double Tree by Hilton.

The customers are the worst part about this place. The staff can be a bit, "L.A." but it's not unmanageable. But the guests here are terrible! They're out smoking weed, being loud and complaining about everything. If you have a legitimate complaint or need, you'll have to get through 2 or 3 guests that need something like some, "not as warm cookies." Just read some of the 1 star reviews... I couldn't believe some of the behavior I saw. I'm also confused as to why so many people are here... maybe there was a convention. But, I'm actually thinking people are here on, "stay-cations." My room was adequate, and looked identical to the pictures. Reception told me the room might be too loud but, i was able to check in early and reception even told me if I didn't like my room I could come down and ask for another. Pretty accommodating... plus, the hotel is walking distance from many restaurants and bars so, I checked in and went for lunch somewhere. Again, the place is pretty nice. Not sure what the standard rooms look like but my room was pretty nice. The lay out is a bit odd and the construction makes for a terrible view but... it's a nice hotel. Again, the guests are terrible. 😆 🤣 😂

Air conditioner wasn’t working, the engineer came and replaced the entire unit with another unit that barely worked. The A/C temperature never got below 75 degrees and the unit ran constantly which was VERY loud. The DIRECTV in the room only had about 3 channels that consistently worked and didn’t start having the frozen tiles while a message stating “lost signal”. The rooms where semi-clean, could definitely use a deep cleaning and dusting with the paper and menus replaced. The pool area was nice but outdoor furniture was old, and broken. Was definitely disappointed for what I paid for the room for 4 nights. The only good part was the warm chocolate chip cookies.

Here on business and I have to say the staff has gone above and beyond to accommodate our stay, unfortunately we had some issues with our initial room but manager Caprice saved the day (I totally understand why she's the manager) The rooms are perfect for business with free WIFI and desk setup. Microwave and refrigerator in the room along with a safe. Red Lobster next door and other great restaurants within walking distance or a mile drive away There's a mall within 5 miles a movie theater you name it this location is in close distance, I would stay at this Hilton Location again

Very nice, clean hotel. Staff is friendly, helpful. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding - especially the homemade granola! Workout room was satisfactory and there's places to run outside the hotel door.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at this hotel. Stayed in one night during a road strip, and our experience was great. We had a corner room, the rooms were massive and comfortable. Very clean. Good wifi. Amenities are great. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was not bad.

The geographical location is very good and suitable for traveling. The front desk staff is very friendly and can speak some Chinese. It‘s awesome. 👍🏻 I also received welcome cookies. The equipment here is good, as well as YouTube and Netflix. I live2 week😇this’ll be fun I like Zach at the front desk very much. He is very knowledgeable and friendly in conversation. The morning front desk staff is very unkind, which I don’t like☹️ Zach is great. He greets me warmly every time, which makes me enjoy this trip very much.

Room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, the room was very warm even with the thermostat set to the coldest temperature. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low. The hot tub was not operable one night and was basically at room temperature.

Overall it was great. Clean room and friendly staff, parking is very convenient. The only downside is that on the day we left, the restaurant staff charged my son $20 for breakfast. Please note that our room did include breakfast for all of us and we only had two breakfasts during our 4 day staying. Yes I know my son is 12 and he did eat a lot, but shouldn't they tell us from the very beginning? I chose to pay the bill but it was only because I didn't want to waste time on arguing which was going to ruin our day. I paid bill and it didn't mean that I accept this. Please tell the staff that next time if there's extra charge, tell your guests ahead, not in the meddle of our breakfast. Thank you.

I am overly upset. What was supposed to an easy stay was ruined by housekeeping. We came to to this hotel for an event that was held in the ballroom. It wasn’t our first time doing this. The event was great and even the service at the restaurant was kind. BUT when it came time to leave we noticed we missed our AirPods. When we went back to claim them, they were not turned in to lost and found. We had found that had been taken to Azusa by tracking them. The cleaning staff did not return them BUT STOLE THEM. We have been in communication with the front desk daily trying to get them back. I feel completely uneasy about them even entering my room after this. I will not be staying here anymore. It is so wrong to steal from those who stay here. We will filing a police report and will be giving the address to the location the phone is giving us and hope it gets addressed

We had an amazing time here. Pretty good neighborhood with a lot of good places, such as Red Lobster and Panera bread. Plenty of complimentary parking. Big rooms, great shower, everything neat and clean. Great Mountain View from windows, very convenient location. Easy to get to LA downtown, to Joshua Tree National Park, to Antelope Valley. When we were checking in it was heavily raining in LA and it was chilly. And the guy at the reception desk gave me hot chocolate cookie. That was so great and so on time, and I felt like they do really care about guests. Recommended!

Not a good hotel to use for business trips!! My employer booked two rooms under our names on this hotels website with a company credit card. When we arrived the first night the hotel had canceled one of our rooms with no notification, and told us that the other room wasn’t paid for so we had to provide a personal card. Then finding out later the company was charged on their card and the hotel also charged me on my personal card. We then ended up needing another day so we booked rooms again online for the next night. They refunded my card for the previous duplicate room charge and then later charged me again for a different amount. When arriving at the front desk on the second night they said they need my card again. My manager spoke with the desk and tried to provide the same card used for booking the room online, to them over the phone, the hotel refused. Stating accounting paperwork must be filled out ahead of checkin. The desk then stated one of the rooms was now paid for online so they just need a personal card for the second room instead of both… We could provide online conformation emails, receipts and credit card statements and they still would not fix these errors, refund the duplicate charges or charge the card used to pay for the first room so we could check into the second room. This was an extreme inconvenience after a long day.

My husband and I stayed here recently. The evening restaurant service was so good. Our bartender George was so nice and humble, such great service, great conversation. Thank you George!

The hotel is right off freeway 210. Rooms are big and clean. Staff is very friendly. Good size swimming pool. There's many dining options nearby and Pasadena is just only 10-15 driving away.

If you prefer a quiet place, strongly not recommend this one! The guests who stayed beside us were so noisy. We called guest services they said they would make sure those guys be quiet after 10 pm. However, the truth is even after 12:30 pm, guests service had to knock their door twice and ask them to be quiet. Soundproofing is bad! If you don’t care this, just want to find a place which is close to a lot good restaurants, this hotel is good.

Comfortable clean rooms, the decor makes me feel right at home. Mini fridge, toiletries to accommodate and a sofa that is so relaxing, I was tempted to choose it over the bed. Front clerks are welcoming and friendly. Location is great, walking distance to great restaurants and minutes away from awesome hiking trails. One more thing, I used their gym, they have top quality assorted equipment for a decent workout, very clean.

The staff very helpful and polite especially Lisa P. She made me very welcomed and thankful for being a guest there. Only if there were more places with her working there customers would have better things to say. Loved the room too very nice and clean. Cookies offered also man that was wierd lol but I love them too. Didn't check the bar out but will definitely go back soon. Hope Lisa will be there when I go back. Thanks for a lovely experience

Fantastic hotel with comfortable room, good location, and excellent breakfast. The room is spacious, clean, and bright. The TV supports casting from the phone which is convenient for watching YouTube. The hotel is well decorated and has a luxurious feel. The service from everyone is warm and welcoming. The breakfast choice is excellent and the eggs are cooked to the order, more like the one you'll find in European hotels. Highly recommended.
