Great specialty coffee, with fresh pastries brought in every morning. Simplistic interior with a cozy charm, but be aware of the small number of tables available. Besides getting a cup of coffee, you can also purchase several blends as well as their home blend to brew at home. Staff also speaks English and are real professionals in the industry, having won several batista awards if I am not mistaken!

Nice and friendly staff with cute store, AMAZING COFFEE. I visited here 3 times while I was in Milan 4 days! Latte (they do Iced latte, lovely!), cappuccinos, and flat white were the best among for those I’ve had in Milan. Custard croissant and pistachios croissant were nice- it’s not too sweet which I liked!

In 10 years experience as a barista i never seen worst organisation, hospitality and qualitay in my life... 40min wait for espresso that was so bad!! With this kind of work in my country or anywhere in the world u wouldnt last even for 3 days! Waiter is not slow! He is incapable of bringing 2 coffee cups at once? 30 people are outside and he brings coffee one by one. Like i said buy a tray or make a better organisation because i did not came to pay 20€ and wait 40min for worst experience in my life.Make a change because this is a descrase for the coffee industry!

my all time favorite specialty coffee shop in Milan!! Nordic-style interior with the friendliest baristas (who speak good English), vegan options and also great coffee! They don’t roast their own coffee but source it from Italian/European roasters. Conveniently near the Sao Paulo boulevard.

Great cappuccino, chai latte, and croissants! The chai latte isn’t on the menu board but they do in fact serve one. It’s delicious - not overly sweet and well spiced. The pistachio croissant is our favorite of the pastries. It’s also not too sweet.

Is hard to find specialty in Milan, this is one of them. And i can said they have a good coffee and food. But the place a little bit too small. The coffee really nice and the barista is helpfull.

Best coffee I've ever tasted. The pour over was extremely smooth yet acidic in a good way. The pastries were nice too. Friendly staff :)

The first cafe I tried out on my last Milan trip, great coffee and Croissant. Loved it. :) Price is top aswell. Sadly way too little space to sit inside. Still giving 5 stars for the good stuff.

The art of coffee can be definitely seen at Orsonero. The coffee is great but also the croissant is amazing. You can feel the taste of the butter in the croissant and is oh ma’ ga’ 🤍

Great spot for coffee. Good atmosphere, busy and they know how to make a solid flat white. Highly recommend!

I have to admit it’s one of the best chai latte with oat milk I have had in Milano. They mixed it so well and added little to no sugar unlike some places where they add too much sweetness in it. Loved it.

Croissant is fresh and specialty coffee is very good. I already try one espresso and one pour over. The beans are natural Ethiopia for espresso and washed Kenya for pour over. The barista is alway busy but friendly though. Definitely recommend!

Orsonero definitely deserve the great reputation they have! Visited them three times during my stay and had some amazing coffees every time. They stock beans from Gardelli and have a rotating roster of roasters on deck you can either get in your Espresso , Filter or as beans. The shop is quite small and tight, but with a great eye for design. The staff is very nice and know their stuff, so just ask!

Great coffee and pastries! Loved the area as it felt out of the tourist path and surrounded by locals. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Loved sitting outside and people watching in this picturesque neighborhood.

Nice spot with reasonable prices and attentive staff. It attracts a lot of tourists and the spot can get very crowded, so a place to seat is not guaranteed unless you want to wait. Even take away orders may take some time. Cappuccino was delicious, the croissants with vanilla custard and pistachio cream were good as well

Had a great conversation with the barista around coffee and origins. It is a great place for 3rd wave coffee and a nice change to traditional Italian espresso in Milan.

Cute espresso bar. Excellent croissants and very good coffee too. Was a little put off by the standoffish bartender as she was very cold and borderline rude when I was asking her questions. Otherwise other members of staff were all very nice.

There is a reason why this place is highly rated and you can go visit this place without a second thought. The staff was friendly, the coffee was brilliant and the cake was delicious. Will definitely visit them again when I’m in Milan

I love the location of this cafe! It's a little bit out of the way, but the area is quieter than others in Milan. Flat white was very smooth. I really wanted to try their pain au chocolat, but it was sold out when I went (2pm on a Tuesday).

(Translated by Google) Stressing !!! We decide to avoid the center for a short business meeting with a customer and we choose this place because it has good pasta. We ordered, as soon as one of us opened the PC, they came to tell us that we cannot open the PCs because students were coming and hours remained (we didn't look like students and so maybe better weigh ...). After 20 minutes, I still had half of the cappuccino and my host had half of the croissant, a waitress came to tell us: "Please leave the table as you are not eating ... There are other customers. You can stay outside!" I turned around and there were two more tables one outside and one inside. We didn't say anything and got up because we were about to say goodbye. This way of being on the customer is not the reason why one goes to the bar and sits down. If I want to sit down, just to eat, I stay home. Zero hospitality, rude staff (of the Bears), minimal arranged place, beautiful location and excellent pastries which is why I give one star the most. Good bar for takeaways or to consume at the counter but not on the tables. A fail! 👎 (Original) Stressing!!! 👎

I am back in my favorite coffee store again. It’s such a pity it is only in one location. I wish it was like Starbucks everywhere but then it wouldn’t be Orsonero huh? The staff is very nice and friendly. The place is cute and really small. So hard to find a table but it’s great that you share tables with others. I met a University student here two years ago and we had a nice chat over Big Bang theory. The owners, a wonderful couple, run the place pretty much on their own. They work really hard because they are passionate about what they do. The milk comes from an organic farm which makes cappuccino and lattes even more delicious. And in Italy in price of one latte in Germany you get two! Isn’t that fantastic! I have to tell though this is still too high for Italians. Well that’s the price of having GREAT coffee! Actually it is priceless! One suggestion; you should put a tip box on the counter😊Oh not to forget the BPA free receipts and the bio store across the corner Bio c’ Bon!

AMAZING third wave specialty coffee shop in Milan. The owner, Brent, and his wife are super friendly and delightfully eager to share their knowledge of coffee. The minimalistic interior has a nice vibe. Orsonero claims to be the oldest third wave coffee shop in Milan, and there is good reason it has persisted this long!

This place was recommended to me for a visit by a speciality Coffee Barista and it was worth the visit. The place is in a very quiet and a nice neighborhood. The shop is small but they serve a great variety of coffee beans as they are using Gardelli beans, Manhattan and they roast their own beans. I tried the Peru beans roasted by them and it was nice as a Flat white. They also serve tea and they have many varieties. Definitely worth a visit again.

The best specialty coffee shop I’ve found in Milan. The Flat White was impeccable in terms of texture, temperature and notably, the right 6oz size. That’s aspect was truly impressive. However the espresso shot itself wasn’t quite well dialed-in, resulting in a slight bitterness but not a big deal for the customers and also as it was extremely busy it’s very hard to keep the consistency. Also I must highlight the croissant (cornetto) filled with the pistachio cream. The selection of the retail coffee bags is rare find. Very good. Keep up the excellent work 👍

Excellent specialty coffee spot. We were offered beans from the French roasters and it was amazing. But beware that you might not have a place to sit, this coffee shop is rather small and crowded.

A great coffee shop in Milan. Honestly, drinking coffee here makes you wish you lived here and came here all the time. It's a nice place with a very cozy atmosphere and you can smell the coffee. We had Cappuccino, Cortado and Espresso here. We preferred espresso more to sober up. The location is very good and around the corner. The staff is very friendly and they have very fast service. I don't know if it was because we visited on a weekday but it was not crowded. It is a very calm and nice place. A great coffee shop that you may want to come back often Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

I can see why this place has such good reviews, but to me doesn't worth the hype. The coffee is indeed very good as for the pain au chocolat. That being said, it is a little bit confusing with having a table and being allowed to sit. You are able to sit at a table after you've placed your order, and only if there's no one before you that wants to enjoy their coffee there. Due to that, the waiting time can be quite long.

Exeptional coffee for Milan. Because in majority of cafes in Milan, you can get only old school traditional cafe. I like that too, but sometimes I miss the juice flauvours etc. The price is also very nice and the place is good. Surely recommend in case you want different then italian mainstream coffee.

I had the pleasure to “live” in Milan for 3 months due to a work trip and Orsonero was my little place of happiness which i visited nearly daily. I first discovered it a year ago in spring and reading about the owners and their story was super inspiring. Seeing the queues they have each day makes me proud of them! The team working there is super friendly and hardworking. You can see how they all work together to make sure they offer the highest service. Coffee tastes great and their filled cornettos are unlike any others! Some comments below might be about the queues or their seating system however i believe that it is very fair and no matter how long the queue is, i have never been left without a seat. I wish these guys the best of luck and look forward to them potentially expanding their business.

Great specialty coffee bar with apparently changing roasts and friendly staff. Not too far from the center in a lovely area. Unfortunately no vegan pastry / snack options but staff said we would be allowed to get something from the organic supermarket close by.

I came here trying delicious coffees made by the super helpful and nice barista. Despite of being pretty busy doing his coffee orders, he was happy to help me figuring out the right recipe for the special roast coffee I had bought from them. Very good experience, the brioche were excellent, we had pistachio, nut chocolate and regular chocolate (with chocolate crunch on top).

Came here around 9:30 and it was very busy. When I left around 10:15 the line was shorter. Nice coffee and cream croissant. I was staying around the central station and was going to another spot nearby after so stopped here. I would recommend it if you are in this area but no need to make a special trip.

(Translated by Google) I wanted to try Orso Nero's coffee, intrigued by the favorable reviews and, also because if I'm not mistaken, it prides itself on being a Coffee Specialist. I try it today 12.02.2021 at 10.00. At the sight the foam was a faded beige color, to the taste a burnt cardboard taste and little consistency, almost watered down, but once in my mouth I get a hit of very bad acidity. Maybe it wasn't the day, I don't think I'll try again, I'll move on.

Orsonero felt like a top tier coffee shop in the Pacific Northwest. The cappuccino was top notch, and the pour over my husband got was incredible according to him.
