Área Sunset is not only a restaurant with an extraordinary view, delicious food, and friendly service. It is also a amazing wedding venue, which comes with a complete wedding service. My wife and I had a phenomenal pleasant experience with setting up a our international wedding together with their professional team. Initialy our wedding was bound to happen in 2020. However, due to the pandemic it had to be postponed till late 2021. Área Sunset has aided us in all ways possible with postponement. Moreover, they made sure that our wedding would be able to happen as soon as most of the international guests were able to come. For those who could not attend the venue set up a online live-streamed of the event. Besides, this great service, their wedding decorations were out of this world, as if it was out of a magazine, it was more than Instagram-worthy! Moreover, the food and drinks were phenomenal, all the guests needs were catered for, everyone was blown away by the high quality. The music, planning, and other services upon the day of the wedding were perfectly taken care of. In short everything went amazingly smooth and was on point! Área Sunset gave us the beach wedding of our dreams.

We were very excited to visit the restaurant as it has a great location and sunset over the lagoon is unparalleled. Unfortunately the menu was a little disappointing with limited choices and nothing Spanish on offer. I ordered a carbonara that offered great chicken and bacon, but the actual sauce was flavourless and could have come from Tesco. My wife ordered sea bass with new potatoes, unfortunately this translated into chips! Overall very disappointed 😔 Credit were credit due, lovely location.

Beautiful setting on the beach with fabulous sunset views, however place is a little tired and run down, could really do with a face-lift. Service was good and staff seemed friendly. only had drinks on this occasion but menu looked reasonable and varied.

This is a wonderful restaurant because the staff are very attentive to make sure you are happy. The pina colada was divine!! I am still dreaming of it!! The paella was tasty. I love the beach location of this restaurant. Its so lovely to have your food looking out to sea. This restaurant is a dream! I would highly recommend this restaurant because staff made our time memorable!!

I was there to conduct a wedding Ceremony so didn't eat. The dining area upstairs is stunning. The beach where we hold weddings is stunning. Anna and her staff are lovely, helpful and responsive.

It is a great restaurant for a sunset.. stunning views! We enjoyed tapas and wine.. really good! And the staff is very friendly. They speak some English- was easy to order and pay!.

The sandwich went in the bin my daughter didn't like the cheese or the bread. But the service is excellent here especially the guy who serves drinks and makes an excellent cocktail he really made us feel welcome. We had salad and really enjoyed it.

No idea if the food is any good. Two guys working there. One shot us a dirty look and then ignored us, the other one just ignored us. They acted like they couldn’t be bothered and weren’t interested in serving us, so we left. Too bad because it is a pretty location. It was off season so everything felt a bit weird. Maybe the guys were mad they had to work on a holiday (Oct 12). Reading some of the other reviews, I feel like we dodged a bullet. We went into Cartagena and had a nice lunch at Rincón de Pepe.

Ate here by chance after a boat trip. Great food, service and friendly, helpful staff in a lovely location. Definitely coming back as they have my favourite champagne!

The restaurant has extremely beautiful views on sunsets and according to locals the food increased quality compared to last year. I love service here because-workers are extremely nice and welcoming and also they explain you everything. The last one think that restaurant can make better is tarta de queso that for my specific taste was too sturdy, but this is something absolutely subjective… we took verduras crujientes, navajas, ensalada mixta y puntillistas. With drinks (few beers and bottle of wine) and desert we paid around 30€ per person , so ratio quality price is very good. Recommended!

Very very poor. Went there in Aug 2022 with a bunch of school friends and landed here for breakfast as it was close to our friends villa. As we walked in, there was something amiss. A lot of the tables had dirty glasses and plates on them. It wasn't a good sign. We stood there as no one served us and showed us to an almost empty restaurant, there were two tables of two being used outside, no one inside. Then, when we sat down, there was no menu, table setting, or anything. We patiently waited for a 5 mins before asking for the menu. It then took another 5 minutes for a waiter to come to us to take our drinks order. For some reason, they didn't have a lot of the things on the menu and offered us some bread and tomatoes......there was a guy standing in the corner hunched over and we asked for his help but he feigned not to know English. If this place didn't have a good location, it would have gone bust years ago. There is nothing else in the area so they have the monopoly they need to survive. Just a terrible place and terrible staff to boot.

Visted on lunchtime, so only shared a pizza and coffee. Excellent views.

Great location, very professional and detail oriented service, great food! All around very recommendable place! We visited on 1st of January, had no reservations and it was very busy, still we were seated immediately and served quickly.
