Great walking trail, or picnic areas, restrooms, and lots of photo ops. The big trees are great, but they've lost a lot from storms. I'm hoping to see new trees planted soon. It's our nature walk in our own backyard.

One of the best spots in the area to "get away". Love the one mile loop trail, the river, the playground, etc. I prefer weekdays, weekends cost $7 to enter and it gets pretty busy.

Great trail for running. Clean dog park with seperations for large and small dogs. Small beach that only goes to a grown mans waist which is perfect for kids. Lovely little park for familys and picnics. And no creepy homelss, only cool ones.

As always this place never disappoint us,lots of table & shade for a picnic, birthdays or other gatherings. For any riverbank residents you pay $7, non residents $10. Got here early so we were able to get a good spot by the water. This time around we brought our 2 dogs, my English bulldog enjoyed the cold water so did the family. Saw alot of people float down the river & some float with their kayaks as well too.

Awesome experience. The things that stood out the most were the beautiful scenery... watching the trains 🚆 go by on the bridge as you play in the water below. Lots of room for whatever activities you need accomplished. When we arrived people were getting baptized... oh thank you Jesus.... the best thing of all is it's an alcohol free park. I for one dislike when my "family" drinks. All in all best experience ever. Thanks Jacob Meyers

Great park to take the dog for a walk, but wish the trail was a bit longer for the power walkers. I heard they may expand the park in the future - I hope so!!

I absolutely love this park and it's walking trail... Plus it has a fenced in dog area. The day I was there it looked like the grounds weren't be cared for like they use to but still such a beautiful place.

Beautiful river! Large playground w/gazebo and BBQs. Lots of grassy areas and plenty of shade. Great 1 mile paved walking trail w/picnic tables. Boat launch and fishing! $7 parking during peak months. Warning: the river may be shallow but it has a fast current!

Nice park, close to the water with place for the kids. Most of the time it is clean. Entrance is $10, but make sure that there is a place to park before you enter. If there is not - no return. Ok to bring your BBQ, even there some BBQ areas that you can use. There is also a dog park at the end separated for a small and big dogs. In the summer, the river is nice and worm, people are going in the water, so bring a swimming suite. Water is not deeper that a couple of ft. at the park area. If hungry, there is a taco truck just in front of the park. The trail is good for walk, about a mile long loop that goes under a train bridge and back to the entrance of the park. Minus one star for the smell around the 2 restrooms that are on trail. Overall, it is worth visiting the park.

I was here for the first time a few weeks ago… and all my kids loved it!!! I love that the water doesn’t go so high for the younger kids could enjoy… just have them close because the current can be strong at times.

This is a great place to bring the family! The water is crystal clear and refreshing, shallow but a decent current. One downside? No alcohol! And they have guards that patrol, really seem like the fun police. It's a big turn off, but the river makes up for it

Beautiful park.... I love this park. Made lots of memories here over the years. Newly made dog park in the back area. Love the river . We used to float from McHenry rec to this park. Always fun for pictures and a walk or lunch or maybe a birthday party. Love this park!!!💯

This place is great for group events, parties, kids of all ages, the park is kept clean and the river is a great relief from the heat. Bring water shoes if your feet are sensitive, the rocks can be intense if your feet aren't used to being barefoot.

Beautiful, well kept park and dog friendly! Wish we had this closer to where I live.

We really enjoy this park. It has nice lawn and shade trees. A good place to cool off in the river. Just be careful right now the water is cold, moving very fast and the river is higher than usual. Even though much of it is shallow, don't let little ones go in by themselves it will take them away quickly.

Nothing shy of fantastic place for every member of your family, young or old. Always very clean, beautiful atmosphere with a family friendly crowd. Perfect for any gathering or to let your little ones expel some energy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PARK, to any and everyone. One the the best places Riverbank has to offer it's community

Beautiful park by the river, part of the Stanislaus River Park system which ensures the river is accessible to all for recreation. Dogs must be leashed to respect the plentiful wildlife, but there is a nice off-leash dog play area with separate fenced spaces for large and small dogs. The grass there is very green and lush for a dog park! Shaded by enormous oaks that pre-date settlement in the Valley, wonderful to see any this size still standing.
