    This location was very good on everything that we ordered. The quality of the food is very good; it was hot and the new recipe fries definitely give those served by the restaurant with the arches a run for being the best. However, in comparison to other locations, the prices for the same items are way higher! Almost to the point of being criminal. For a Dave's Triple combo from here versus another location, the price difference was nearly 7$ for the exact same order.

    I've never had a bad experience at Wendy's until today. The drive-through employee didn't say one word to me; they just snatched my card. I tried to speak to him, hello, how are you, etc. not once did he even look at us; he just handed the card back and closed the window. He then gave me my order which I knew I should've checked right then, but apparently, it's my fault I didn't review my order. So, I git home, and naturally, it was wrong. I ordered two cheeseburgers (a simple order). I received one chicken sandwich and a Bacon cheeseburger. I will not return to this Wendy's again.

    This location is conveniently located across from Valley Medical Center and next to San Jose City College. There is a drive thru and an area to Dine in. Reasonably priced and courteous staff make this a good fast food stop.

    Do not order Drive-Thru from here. I was in a rush and didn't grab a name; but, a manager took my order. He was not wearing gloves when he handled the register and took my order. I noticed; that immediately after he took my order, ( without washing his hands or putting on gloves ) he grabbed some fries and stuck his thumb into the food. He handed the food out the window and the customer left. He then, did the same thing to me. As respectfully as I could ( as to not spend any more time) asked him to put some gloves on and remake my order. I will not be back.

    Don't go at night. I spent 45min in drive thru with only 3 cars in front of me. Took 10min after I got up to the speaker to have them take my order. Fries were nice and fresh, but the burger was a little cold.

    Food is good but not really worth the prices they are charging you for, I loved it when bacon cheese burger was only .99 cents and LG fry was like $2, use to get a lot for less then $20...now for 3 cheese burgers LG fry and LG coke almost $30 for 1 person.

    I ordered drive thru. I can't believe how Wendy's charges extra for sauce / dressing that you would expect to get with the meal that you ordered. For example ranch for onion rings /salad. Or bar b que sauce with nuggets be expecting to pay extra 50cents.

    Pro tip... If you visit this Wendy's, check your bag to make sure your order correct. The person at the cash register forgot my frosty. I informed the cashier and he handed me my frosty. Honest mistake. As I'm putting my spoon in the bag, I noticed my burger was missing. I informed the cashier and he seemed indifferent; I almost felt like a burden to get what I paid for.

    The manager "lan" does not want to open register to help guests. Would rather they eat somewhere else. You can only order at the Kiosk so no cash or tap to pay.

    I came in today with a 2 dollar off any combo coupon and the Mexican cashier lady and manager that can’t read English told me it has to be the meal in the picture when it clearly says 2 dollars off any premium combo. I don’t want to sound racist but this is exactly what happen.

    Came in and the place was absolutely freezing. The self serve kiosks never work, and the place was extremely filthy, food left on tables, overflowing garbage cans and sticky floors. An employee came out and just looked around then went back in never taking care of anything that needed taking care of in the dining area.

    I love Wendy's haven't had it in a while so I went after my appointment from across the street and I have been to this Wendy's multiple times mind u it was just me by myself i ordered the new Italian mozzarella sandwich which costed me for the combo $18.75 and that was for one meal medium size I was shocked but not to mention the bathroom was nasty the front door had finger prints and looked like they hadn't been washed since the night before the lobby had dirty nasty tables the employee that took my order was not friendly it seemed like she didn't want to be there and she didn't have a name tag u know I could have sat down at a restaurant and paid that amount I'm really losing faith in the fast food community yeah its convenient but who wants to eat food that is angry or if the restaurant is nasty what do you think that the food how the food is being held just saying

    Horribly slow drive-through. There either terribly shorthanded or else just not motivated to Work efficiently at all. The other Wendy's across town is much better.

    Satisfactory service but always check your food. I've been missing items or just as bad; salad served without a fork. Got to a nice park only to find out....NO FORK for my salad!! Ever try eating a salad without a fork? Not a pretty sight.

    I tried to purchase a salad at 10am through the drive through window because the doors were locked, couldn’t go in to order. Was told I couldn’t purchase a salad during breakfast hours. Hmn.. what time does Breakfast hour end? Why are the doors locked during breakfast hours? What’s going on at Wendy’s? Please pay your employees fair wages so that they want to come to work!

    Management desperately needs to hire more people. It shouldn't not take 20-25 minutes per car to get an order. It takes entirely too long for a fast food restaurant and you can tell the employees are trying their best.

    This location has been a Wendy's for years, but recently was closed and renovated. The new building is nice, location is still conveniently near the freeway and city college, and the service is a good as any fast food place.

    I love the food here, and the drive thru wasn't ridiculously long. However, it surprised me a how expensive the food was there, basically the same price as going to a restaurant. I mean, the junior bacon cheeseburger used to be only .99 cent but is $3 now! Crazy! Although their frosty's are still the BEST, and they have this new "Frostyccino" that is SO delicious prefect blend of coffee and frosty (plus you get to choose vanilla or chocolate to go into it) YUM!

    Wendy's on Bascom Ave in San Jose is so courteous and quick at getting your order and repeating your order and making sure it's a easy breezy way through the drive through..staff has always made sure the order is hot and to our liking. Would definitely recommend this place the staff is very professional and enjoys serving the customers...great job

    For being a traditional fast-food establishment, it isn't half bad. The burgers are fresh-tasting, as they don't use frozen beef patties, so there's that, plus I do like their chili, which uses the unsold beef patties but it has great umami flavor. And their ice cream machines are never broken, despite being made by the same company as mcd's' machines which are often broken. If you want good deals, use their app. It's annoying to have to download another app, BUT you do get good deals, and you can delete the app right after you use it, takes figuratively half a second.
