Tasty pot is one of my favorite restaurants and generally hits the spot. I've been to several in different states and each one is slightly different in the way they do things even though it is a chain / franchise and pretty standardized. This one in Cupertino is fairly small in the inside. The staff is not that attentive and had to specifically find them or call them over for service. The food itself is pretty similar among the different tasty pots as one would expect, just with slight differences in how certain items come to the table. For example, when ordering additional meats, it came out not preheated or cooked as some other locations will have done. Another thing I noticed different at this location is that they give you a free iced tea type drink which is a nice touch. As an aside, the parking in this area is hard to come by as this is a fairly popular area with lots of traffic. So maybe budget some time for parking. Overall, definitely continues to be one of my favorite foods to eat!

This is a great go-to spot. While the price seemed a tad on the high side (just glancing at the menu alone), the portions were pretty big so it was very filling, a pretty good value for the money.

Hot pot was good but they were out of shrimp. If you don't like pork broth it's almost tasteless.

First time in this restaurant, I loved it, all the staff members are very friendly and professional . Awesome environment with great atmosphere. The food is amazing, and the flavors are exquisitely good. Very good portions , we were lucky because we found a good table. At the time we left, there was a bunch of people wanting outside . Highly recommended.

These are individual, pre-cooked pots with a heater inside the pot holder. It's not easy to control the flame and if u want it removed, they have to take the whole pot back for processing🤔. The pot seems small but it holds a lot. Make sure u check the components of ur order -- I am surprised to see pork-blood rice cake in the lamb pot and taro cake in the beef pot. It makes me wonder if the kitchen is tilted toward Taiwanese style cooking😁. Kimchee pot is almost like what I expected, other than some slices of rice cake. The popcorn chicken is just like what u get in a Taiwanese night market🤤. Place is not that big, filled up easily (40?) and due to the nature of the food served (hot soup), the turnaround is not that fast. By the way, be gentle with the whole setup, the pot/holder might slide off the table if u r being VERY naughty with the food.

Go-to place for personal hotpot. Price is pretty good for the small hot pot. Nothing fancy, but very good comfort food :-) I normally go for Taiwanese spicy tofu with super hot option, plus instant noodle option. Instant noodle taste surprisingly good inside hot pot. Service is ok bc they are super busy.

The food is great. People are nice. It was good that the front doors were opened because there was a little smell of grilled food.

I love coming here for lunch. I normally get the Beef Hot Soup because I prefer the additions in it the best. I tried the Thai flavor which is by far the best broth I have had here. It's very similar to Tom yum and it's extremely flavorful. I probably won't get it again unless I can customize what comes in it. I had asked to remove the baby octopus and mussels, but it still came with it.

Decent hot pot. Good value. A full meal plus a green tea drink for about $20. They provide the typical asian restaurant service. They are busy and they try to accommodate as much as they can. Lows: busy location. There can be a 30+ min wait depending on the time and day of the week. The parking is horrendous.

In comparison to Boiling Point, I'd say Boiling Point is better. I got the cheesy pot and was kind of disappointed with the amount of content in the pot. I think BP gives you more and the flavor wasn't as memorable as the ones I've had at BP. It's good, but not good enough for me to come back. The wait wasn't that long (but they don't have a waiting area so either stand outside in the cold or awkwardly stand inside and stare at everyone eating). The service is pretty much non-existent once you get your food. No one comes to check on you or give you refills. One waiter did stop by when we finished eating to offer us more broth... Not great. Overall it's not a bad place if you're hungry and want something warm and hot pot-like, but I'd recommend BP over this.

Food was better than expected. The servers were not too friendly, but responded politely when asked questions. So far pretty good, will come back with friends.

I am not a fan of hot pot but my friend is. We come here on Wednesday lunchtime before 12 and it's already packed inside. There are like 5-8 groups waiting ahead of us. Next to Tasty Pot, Guilin noodles restaurant is pretty empty and only a few tables are taken at that time. After we are seated, I quickly scan through the menu and order non spicy cheese milk hot pot with vermicelli. Lunch price is one dollar less than the dinner price for the same hot pot. The service is attentive and the pot comes super fast. Honestly, I don't think there are enough cheeses or milk for the pot cuz there are not much cheeses milk flavor inside. However, I super like quail eggs when I was in China, and that is why I choose this hot pot with quail eggs inside. Overall, the hot pot here is still not bad. I think I would try other pot next time.

We ordered a delivery and they were delicious. We tried the restaurant at Denver as well and the quality is quite consistent. The food arrived on time and the soups were well sealed, but I would suggest if the packaging could use less plastic wrap, then it would be fantastic.

    1) They sent me a promotion text for popcorn chicken and a new drink at $8 when ordering a pot. Promotion ends on May 15. Today is May 10 and they said it ends already. 2). They put the soup, meat and noodles in one small to go bowl. All soup was absorbed and leaked. They also do not offer any sauce that you get when you dine in. Very disappointed that they honor the promotion. I went there because they sent me the text. Then the to-go order is really not up to the standard.

Want the hot pot experience without sharing a pot with your date? This is the place for you. Good food, clean restaurant, and friendly staff. What more can you ask for?
