Don't get fooled by the expensive membership of the gym and its advertisement. I doubt how they will be able to provide you, your car, and your kids a safe place when they don't even have basic security around their facility. My car was hit and run in the VillaSport parking lot recently. The estimated repair cost is above $15,000, and my car is only one month old. It was in daylight and my car was perfectly parked in the center of its parking lot. When the accident happened, I went to ask one of their managers to take a look at the scene, and I asked him if he could check their videos. Later on, I was informed that there was no single video footage in the area. However, they have “camera in use” signs all around. I'm not trying to say that it's VillaSport’s fault that my car was hit and run, I was shocked at how this place lacks basic security. The gym advertises itself as “ the only place where fitness, family, and community all come together. In fact, they don't care. For an individual membership costs $150/m, this place could do better to provide the minimal peace of mind to its members when they come to the facility. Furthermore, after left several messages to the management to check if they found any information about the accident, guess what? They just never return my call.

We joined before the pandemic when the facility was new. It was a great experience. Like many, we left during the pandemic and rejoined a few months ago to find the experience has gone downhill. We have two kids and only joined for the swimming. The water structure indoors has been out of service for the entire time. Showers are dirty with broken shampoo dispensers. Cabinet in the family bathroom is peeling from water damage. And there were NO LIFEGUARDS! They have only recently came back, but are not always on duty! We are cancelling our membership. I don't recall the process last time, but this time requires the cancellation to be done through certified mail, with a 30 day notice. This process feels like they are really desperate to hold on to members so they make it as difficult as possible to cancel.

The place is really nice and organized.you can say upscale level . indoor and aoudoor swimming pools. Sauna .spa.men women and kids changing/shower areas are totally separate. Very clean place .but in weekends it getting busier and shower areas needs more attention for cleaning ...

In the summer, my husband and I looked closely at this club, took an introductory tour of the halls. More recently (probably since December-January) they have a 1 day free pass, provided that you have never been a member of their club. After registering for this free pass, I received e-mail, giving the right for 1 day free pass. A call immediately followed, and then a long correspondence with the manager, who insisted that I had once been a member of their club and that I had already used a free one-time visit. (I want to note, and this is important, that you also had to register for an introductory tour of the halls). My assurances that this was some kind of their internal mistake did not lead to anything. That is, in their opinion, a sightseeing tour of the club is automatically an already used free pass. I even wrote to the CEO, who ignored my request to look into the situation. In general, it’s a shame, and when I came to the front desk today, I was again refused, which left me no choice but to just buy a one-time entry. The mood, of course, is not very from these showdowns. I think that for the sake of the future client, they could make an exception, since there was a controversial situation. Perhaps I should not apply there and try to look for an alternative with a more pleasant treatment?

I've been to a lot of gyms, but this gym is the best in the area. Swimming pools are always clean and doesn't smell like chlorine. The weight lifting area are clean and always neatly organized. The cold towels feels amazing after a workout and in the hot tub. Steam room is wonderful to relax in. Showers provides shampoo, body wash, and conditioner that smells nice. It's going to cost a lot to be a member here, but it's worth it if you want to go to a gym and want a workout without waiting for weights or racks.

I took my boy there solely for a good indoor basketball court but unfortunately, the experience was ruined by an uncivilized group of people. I honestly didn't think I would have to deal with that here but I guess I was wrong. We were there early at 8am to play and the courts were available. Unfortunately, more people showed up forming their teams and took over the entire open court leaving us no room to play. In all honesty, I was looking for a good club to join and Villa has been on my radar for a while. After this experience as a guest, I will not waste my money here.

I took my families to go there every weekend. It is hard to find a place for kids to swim in the bay area. The best part is that they put the gym equipments besides the swim pool so that I can watch my son and workout at the same time. Also, the pool is not crowded, and nice to kids. The only flaw maybe the high membership fee.

My wallet was stolen from inside the locker of the ladies restroom today, the locker was tampered. I don't feel safe in this gym anymore, for the price that you pay monthly you are expecting more, to be a safe place where you can go an relax, a joy your time and decompress from work, but I don't feel like that anymore. The staff was great with the resources when the incident happened but the experience is awful, not a safe place to go. It was stolen from inside their facilities, inside the ladies restrooms where there are no cameras

The facilities are good, but the management seems to be incompetent. Here are few examples: In the middle of the summer, if you come midweek, there’s no place to buy lunch between 11am (when the indoor cafe closes) and 3pm (when the outdoor cafe opens). You can only buy prepackaged salads - not exactly the stuff hungry kids would eat. Oh and they won’t allow outdoor food at all, not even during these hours. The swim instructors’ turnover is huge. Every time our kids liked an instructor, they ended up leaving short time after. We’re talking at least 4 in the past 6 months. They’re either treated poorly, paid poorly, or both. Fitness sessions (not group exercises) are simply canceled perpetually because the instructor has left. You can’t talk with the Fitness director because he has left as well… they’re “looking for someone”. Overall, although the facility isn’t bad, the management sometimes makes the overall experience quite poor. Edit: since I wrote the review above, two additional examples were added: 1. Another good swim instructor has left (this time I was told it was due to differences of opinions with the management) 2. I was contacted the same morning my kids had a swim lesson to reschedule as the instructor is sick. Fine, no worries, everyone gets sick sometimes. So we rescheduled to same afternoon with two different instructors. When we came, it turned out that one of the two instructors had to leave early, cancelled all he lessons for the rest of the day, and we were not notified about this.

Beautiful and big water park. Great for the entire family specially on hot day. Villa Sport offers a lot of other activities. This is by membership. But can get a day pass if you know of a member.

The gym is great, don't get me wrong. All the employees, trainers and instructors are awesome. With that being said, The gym has really gone downhill. Lockers are dirty and unkept. I spray and wipe mine down with a towel before every use. There is also a problem with towels. They're often times when towels are all gone. The large bath towels and the smaller gym towels. Are there not enough employees to wash towels and keep them stocked. People lay good money for the membership. They need to impose a nudity policy. I'm not paying to see that in the locker. Especially when. You have kids, and teens under 18 allowed in the locker room with older men. I like this place mainly for the classes, big weight room floor, amenities like the steam room, sauna and pool but most of all because it's very close to where I live.

Beware of falling into the trap of expensive membership for child care at this place! They will do everything in their power to reject your application and make excuses to avoid taking care of your child. In 2022, when my wife was pregnant and close to giving birth, we joined their membership program, which was quite costly, around $250 for two individuals. Unlike other gyms that allow free guest visits, they initially charged $30 for each guest after their first visit. Later, they changed their policy without informing us and started charging $40 per guest without any free first-time visits. Despite this, we continued our membership because they claimed to offer "free" child care in the future. However, when our daughter was born and reached around 1 year old, we decided to bring her to the gym and include her in our membership. Shockingly, they rejected her application on multiple occasions, providing different excuses each time. Initially, they claimed she needed to be 6 weeks old, even though she was already 11 months old at the time. Then, they insisted that we manually add her to their subpar online account system, as the staff couldn't do it themselves (which was quite peculiar). So, we added her manually online through our main account. On the third attempt, they told us that the account we used to add her wasn't the "correct" one and refused our request. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. As customers and parents of a 1-year-old, we don't have the time to deal with all the excuses this gym uses to evade their promised child care services. If they are understaffed in the child care department, they should have been transparent from the beginning instead of deceiving customers with various excuses to discourage them from bringing their children. I urge anyone considering this membership to thoroughly reconsider their decision. Paying $250 a month for two people is exorbitant for just gym and pool access. It's simply not worth it. As for all the benefits they claim to provide, they only exist on paper and the fancy flyers they send to your home. Don't be deceived.

Initially rated 5-Stars, but for the prices the overall quality of services leaves something to be desired. Emailing them to get something fixed is more often than not stressful. There doesn't seem to be any sense or urgency to address concerns. That said, the gym is incredibly clean, facility café is generally good, the locker room area is tended to regularly. For a $170+ a month I expect better customer service, but absolutely recommend checking it out for yourself. It's luxurious.

We were very impressed by this athletic club. We have two young kids (7 and 10) so the family locker room is excellent. There are private changing rooms with or and without showers, a waiting area with a tv, towels body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The inside pool has a large area with shallow water so little kids are able to fully enjoy the pool.

I'm a member of VillaSport, but the people who work there are less friendly than the other who work sports club and they act like the owner of this sports center. The attitude towards members is probably the worst at any club I've been to.

Don’t get swimming lessons here. My son has had a different instructor for every lesson (7) because they all quit. They cancel appointments all the time and don’t tell you about it until the last minute. I called to confirm a lesson time and 15 mins before the lesson they cancelled. They rescheduled the next week with another instructor and the same day that instructor cancelled. Absolutely horrible experience with their aquatics. Regret pre paying for a package. No one from Villa sport will respond to this as they don’t seem to care about our complaints.

The facilities are good, but the management seems to be incompetent. The way they set up is difficult for you to remove members. My son went to SF and Im taking over as a single member, they keep charging me for $250/month for several months. Record shows that we called and requested member removed and changed member ownership. They keep saying that they don’t remove member, you do it yourself. the website is old, difficult to remove member, and it doesn’t happen instantly, have to wait several days to get confirmed. I came and explained to the manager, he said not much he can do, keep changing $250 a month until member name is removed. Incompetent manager.

Had my kiddo do swim lessons, we were so excited then extremely disappointed. The first day the swim instructor was late and told us too bad and we will get 20 mins instead of 30 mins. We had 4 sessions in the package and on our last session they were trying to convince me we attended more than 4 lessons. Pushing me to pay an extra $80 I refused and said I can show them when I paid proving we only had 4 lessons. They got quiet and I told them we will not be returning.

Love this place: especially spa room, special outside area for adults only and kids room. I wish water slides/fountains/outdoor restaurant work in September too, since it’s still warm/hot outside. The one star less due to less amenities are provided.

Very clean and well maintained facilities. The locker rooms are top class and the pools are very well maintained. There are lot of gym equipments and many good group classes. My favorite thing, as a parent, is that they have in house child care. 4/5 only because I feel it’s bit overpriced, honestly think it can be cheaper by like 20-30%. But not sure if there are good alternatives in the area.

Good selection of cardio and weights here! This place is kid and family friendly. I like the air quality here and majority of the equipment is on the cleaner side. There can be more wipes station around. For the women shower area it could be cleaner. There are lots of clumps of hair and pretty slippery.

Swimming pools are good but staff is very unprofessional. They have a lot of young inexperienced people working in aquatics and the front desk. They charge a lot of money for lessons and don't honor their commitments. It very difficult to deal with their staff and get any kind of a positive response from them. Weight lifting equipment in their gym is mediocre at best. Villa kids babysitting is decent, but they don't control bullying and some of the staff tends to be rude to older kids.

Based on their VillaKids: Since the gym has opened back up from Covid restrictions, they implemented a new registration system for families with children. Let me tell you, IT SUCKS. On the weekends there are only two time slots 8:30am and 10:30am. You have to download the app and register at least 24 hours in advance and if the registration is full, you're SOL. This is very problematic and annoying to deal with. If I'm paying the same rates pre covid, I want to be able to drop the kids off within the VillaKids hours whenever I am able to get to the gym.

Before today I would have highly recommended this club but when I came back from a vacation for a month the management team had changed completely and they didn't regard for customer needs! I would have said don't join this club! THEY DON'T VALUE CUSTOMERS AT ALL!!! They would rather separate my two kids and make them cry than let them stay in the same area happily. They said it's policy and insisted there are no exceptions but just a month ago my 2 kids could stay at the same area and happily play together without being separated. Now I'm canceling my membership and I won't recommend this club to anybody.

I would like to start off by saying that this was a good gym until I met Ryan. I’m also in customers service and a manager myself. How Ryan treated his client today was by far the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. I’m beyond disappointed and shocked at the way your employee/manager talk to their client(s). I saw an interaction today from Ryan talking to a client who I was working out next to. His tone of voice was rude, his demeanor was rude, his approach and appearance was unprofessional to say the least. He felt like challenging a customer because he didn’t feel like having that customer there working out at “his” gym. He tried to kick that person out simply because he was giving tips, and showing correct form to his friend who he was working out with. It made me realized that if he could talk to that person like that, he would probably talk like that to anyone else and probably to his family too. I recommend anyone reading this to stay far from this gym/location as long as Ryan is still an employee.

Difficult to review maybe 3 1/2 to 4 ! A single membership seems reasonable for what they offer but adding kids on is pricey. The cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and their are a lot of amenities to offer. Weight room is kept very clean but weight machines are crowded. Lots of cardio options and plenty of dumbbells. Basketball gym is nice and there are always pick up games. The cafe food and smoothies are not worth the price and the cafe attendants don’t seem to know how to make the items listed. It’s definitely not worth the wait at the poolside cafe and they never serve the full menu. Have not tried the coffee. The showers and saunas are hit or miss depending on the day. I go for the amount of pools they have available for lap swim and locker spacious rooms. Kid care 9 and under is fitting for their age and 13 and up can work out. My 10 year olds have no interest in the kid club. I’d say for the price and the promises you’d have to live nearby and have plenty of time to take advantage to make it beneficial.

Very displeased with the new daycare policy. The VillaKids director will ban your child for 7 days if you miss one time taking your child in. This means that even though you are a PAYING customer, you cannot use the service you pay for during those 7 days. If you are like me and don’t have anyone to watch your kid, then you also cannot workout for those 7 days either.. very depressing and cruel. I’m not sure why the price has not decreased when there are now so many restrictions. They used to have open drop offs and up to 2.5 hours of daycare time. (Their website still advertises 2.5 hours too) Now you have to plan 24 hours in advance and are only allowed 2 hours, but it has to be within a time slot. Example 8:30am-10:30 am. If you happen to get to Villasport at 9:00am then you only get childcare until 10:30am. (They have been telling me since June that time slots were going away soon, but they haven’t) This policy NOT family friendly and NOT welcoming.

I really love this gym. It’s incredibly clean, and organized. I’ve been going here for over a year and have enjoyed all the amenities. My 3 girls really love villa kids. The staff are helpful, and all the yoga instructors are awesome. I’ll be moving 30 mins away in 6 months and plan on making the drive every morning because it’s worth it.

The facilities are very nice - there are two indoor swimming pools, two outdoor pools, a second floor for fitness equipment and classes that are all free. Their IT system can definitely be improved though. They use a third-party system called MotionVibe, which is not very good, but still usable. The staff are friendly and helpful in general. The club gets busy during the summer months, but it's pretty empty now, which I like.

Great facility! The GM is absolutely awesome! He goes out of his way to help the staff and guests. When I was working out I had to take a few calls and he set me up in a private room.

I wanted to sign up for a family membership, sent an email to clarify couple of things, and never got response to my questions. Such a shame for a business running in the heart of Silicon valley... Lucky those who gave 5 star review, their experience with customer service was definitely better than mine.

It's a nice athletic club. We only used the pools. Everything seems well maintained, clean, and there were plenty of staff around. Membership is expensive but it appears the money actually gets you a great facility

Pools, swimming, whirlpool, sauna, spa, locker room with amenities and a bar and firepit poolside. What's NOT to like, except current closing times - current 9pm (pool at 830pm) cuts my swim to 30 minutes or none at all. I hope they will return to their 12am close soon.

Very clean, spacious and modern club with a lot of options for sports and fitness activities. I like pools for adults and kids, and would like to compliment the aquatics swim instructors, who run good swimming classes for kids of all ages.

Incredible club and great location but service is beyond bad. Rude, uninformed, and unable to assist. They found an item I lost and instead of labeling it for me so I could easily get it on my next visit it was thrown into a massive bin I had to dig through. I get having a bulk lost & found for random items but to not even attempt helping a member speaks of the lack of training staff receives and shows how little our business & membership is valued. Summer is coming to an end and this I think that’s a good time to part ways with Villa.

From someone who use the facilities with a family. Great water attraction for kids! However the inside play area is closed 99.9% of the time. Provide towels for you to use! However, the towel racks are empty half the time, they are empty 100% of the time if it is the weekend. Nice showers with soaps and lotions to use! However, if you have a family be prepare to wait 30+ minutes for showers. If you want to be over promised and under sold. By all means, it is a great gym. Also the 100$ they promise for recruiting new members, total scam. We invited some 5 close families, never saw a dime.
