I've been a member since 2014 and this place has always been great to me until now. I tried to log back on after they re-opened due to covid and it said my membership was cancelled and I never did that. I spoke with a very helpful lady from the front desk and she spoke with the new owner and explained to me what happened... The owner went ahead and cancelled my original membership without any warning due to my membership including tanning and child care which they no longer offer anymore. He offered me to join again at the new prices which was nearly 3 times as much as I was paying before without the benefits of having the child care which was one of the main reasons I went there. Kind of a slap in the face and very poor communication for someone that has been a member since they first opened.

Visited this gym in hopes of looking for a new gym home. Was disappointed in how rude the workers were and how unsafe it felt there. I didn't appreciate how one of the male members was looking at this woman who was working out and how there was a homeless man just sitting inside. Will not be returning to this location…

This review comes from their 5-years customer who was trying to cancel his membership because of move, and they still have to charge him for one additional month, because the payment has already been processed and they cannot do anything about it (my credit card has not been charged yet, but it is already late for them)! I actually called their front desk a day before and wanted to cancel over the form, the receptionist mentioned you have to come in person and sign a form. Now, they say your credit card has been charged and I have to pay one full month without any hit. One more reason not to miss this place and not to recommend them for being cheap and not having any sense of a valued customer!

Awesome gym. Been looking around for other gyms recently because I moved a bit far away and with traffic could take me up to 25-30 minutes to reach, and the lack of quality gyms in the area shows me how lucky I am to be working out here. It has everything you need in a gym, spacious, not too crowded usually, weights are in place, staff is friendly, new management is replacing old equipment, and the place is always clean. If you’re close to this location, look no further (also not expensive even with the raise in prices post-Covid).

This is a great gym for any age/level of fitness. The staff are friendly, and the class instructors are exceptional. There is a wonderful feeling of community between the guests, and the gym is always kept clean.

The dirty bathroom and machine was a no for me... clean up your facility.

Great gym, had the one month pass while I was visiting the area and was satisfied with the services. Fernando working at the front desk was a very nice guy and we had a good chat. They also helped me out with the equipment and what to use for specific exercises. Great gym, great team.

Good place but the machines could be better. They do have a wide variety and a helpful staff. Don't bring a lock with a long shank as it won't fit.

The gym is clean. The ppl are friendly and the staff is very helpful.

I am giving them a 3 star since the gym on Foxworthy closed, since it was the closet to me and even then there still was a little drive to it. Loved this gym when they were still opened, they were clean and I liked the fact that could go to the gym and never felt overwhelmed with the people working out there. I ended up closing my membership because the one on Blossom Hill is to far for me to drive especially with traffic. If they ever open one in Santa Clara or North San Jose, I would join again and most likely give a better rating

I have experienced many cross fits in the area and had not found my home until I got to Retro Fitness. I truly LOVE training here...because we're all friends and family!! If you give Retro Fitness a shot.. you'll be glad you did!!

I'd rather just pay the 10 dollars for planet fitness. Fees here are ridiculous for the quality of the gym. Definitely feel like all the machines are from the 1980s and like theyve never been disinfected ever. Just plane disgusting

Very spacious and clean. This gym is packed with a ton of equipment. The only downside is that they only carry Smith machines and no free weight lifting bars

One of the best gyms I've ever been to. Staff were always really friendly, the equipment is new they have a locker/shower room and a smoothie bar! For 19.99/mo cant beat it.

Clean, new equipment. Excellent location with all the equipment that anyone could need to achieve a great workout. Cardio equipment is currently unavailable but it has not kept me from getting a complete upper or lower body workout in.

The staff here is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They are always helpful amd go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible. The smoothie bar is amazing. There are so many varieties and ways to customize for your gains that there is something for everyone. Three equipment and weights are not lacking in the least. Even during peak hours you'll be able to get your workout done in a timely fashion. Speaking of peak hours, the other members are also polite and helpful. I have yet to see a single judging eye. This is a great environment for beginners as well as veterans. Not to mention all of the classes that are available.

The work out facilities are designed for men body rather than women. Last year I switch to this place and couldn't do anything to build muscle with their machines. They is NO WAY to follow the standards and fit their machines for weighting. The staff are friendly but the customer service is not good, one time someone left the treadmill on and I didn't notice, as I stepped on the rubber it pushed me back and I heart my knees and hand badly. We told the staff but they didn't care. An other experience was about my birthday smoothie, I am VIP member and I was one day late for my free birthday smoothie so they refused to give it to me!! I don't know how many people go to the gym on their birthday day to get free smoothie!!!! Well, the manager called me yesterday and we discussed the issue over the phone. I appreciate his follow up and increase my rating to this branch. Thanks 👌🏻

The gym is very nice and has a good environment.

The new ownership (as of early 2022) is pretty good so far. They're keeping what works and phasing out some old fashioned equipment that was too "retro" for more ergonomic stuff.
