Loved the dedicated space to native Americans with the explanatory signs-enjoyed reading them each to our boys and thinking of what that space looked like thousands of years before (especially without the sound of the freeway 😂). Trail was great and easy to do with kids. Everything is blooming, overgrown, and beautiful!

Beautiful ❤️...peaceful but makes you really start to think about the people who lived here once long ago when it was an extremely a beautiful peaceful place.

I discovered this place by accident. My curiosity led me down the long dirt road past the dog park to the parking area and the multi-use trail. I walked past abandoned citrus trees, California Live Oaks, and a beautiful field of mustard alongside the San Juan Creek. It was a perfect day for it!

The Village at Putuidem, a 1.5-acre park, includes an amphitheater area with boulders and log seats, a trail and various depictions of the Juaneño way of life, including ramadas, kiichas — a thatch home, and manos — a ground stone tool. The Putuidem Village is a “little chunk of what was a massive, huge village” where tribal members lived before being driven out as the Spanish arrived in the 1700s,

This is the strangest dog park I've ever seen. The layout is mind boggling. The entrance is hundreds of feet from the parking, but there's a ramp, so you can walk your dog down there. There's no grass, but if you have a dog who loves to chase balls long distances, this is a good place to go. The park is in a ditch, so you can't lose anything.

Large field, some tables along the side walk. trail leads to houses then there's another back trail...there are homeless people but I have personally not seen them. Great place to take your dogs. Especially In the early side of morning. There are soccer games played here throughout the week. And some exercise classes I've seen done here as well.

It haf a weird smell. Too rocky and hilly for my small dog to walk and roam. Some people were hiding/ hanging out in the bushes along the trail. Pretty sure they were high. Saw some people taking Oranges off the trees pretty sure that's stealing..just overall bad vibes. Never coming back here
