Great trail, sharp cliffs, watch your little ones or leave them at home. Breathtaking views of the white rim canyon, needles, and Green River. Begging your lunch and have a picnic with your loved one at the drop off. We did and it was incredible. Nice easy walk to the end of the mesa. Our kids were 7, 12, and 16 and it was still hard monitor their safety, since their curiosity was stronger than parent's pleads for staying off the edges. Overall an awesome walk. Recommend to anyone who enjoys outdoors and amazing views.

The hike wasn't that bad, not too much elevation change. There was a bit of wind, but I think that should be expected. So, just be prepared for that and have good shoes and you should be fine. It was a really good viewpoint.

Worth the hike... Best one in the park. You get so many view points along the way. Once you get to the end, you get a panoramic view. Would recommend checking out a sub rise or set... I'll be back for one because there was overcast this trip.

In my opinion, the absolute best hike in the Islands in the Sky section of Canyonlands. About 2 miles round trip and worth every step. Gorgeous views the whole way. If you only do one hike in Canyonlands it needs to be this one. You can stay on the main trail or hike up along the ridge that parallels the main path, which is what me and my boys did.

This is the endpoint of an fairly easy, relatively short hike along the edge of a spectacular canyon. Great views to be found here, but honestly, I enjoyed the views on the hike to/from this overlook better than the views on the overlook itself. The hike is doable by pretty much anyone of even passable health, regardless of age. Parents of children / people afraid of heights, be forewarned; there are no guardrails and enormous, nearly vertical drops along the hike, . That said, the trail never gets narrow enough where you remotely have to worry about falling over the edge, unless you decide to get close to the edge for better photos of the views. And the views really are grand like the name suggests. Well worth the visit and the hike, thoroughly recommended

Just drove they canyons-land national park and did small hike. Can be a tiring hike in the hot sun but awesome view, who doesn’t wanna walk just can enjoy from the parking, not as spectacular but similar.

Very beautiful hike, loved to see the breathtaking views of the canyons and rims. Seeing crows hunting and eating a rattlesnake was absolutely crazy! Also, hearing the thunderstorm approaching. A wild hike for sure!
