Ripped me off. Deceiving ad on Agoda. No Customer Protection. So my friend booked this for me after seeing it on Agoda. In the site, there is supposedly a pool. But when I arrived, there was none. I got on with it and went to the beach. The room I stayed in- Marina room was bad either. Bed is beside the bathroom door, and the door has gaps so you'll literally smell the bathroom when you rest. Again, got on with it. Here's the messy part. So check out time came and asked if they can accept debit payment since I'm saving on my cash. They do, so paid in debit card. Only to find out it did not come through. No slip to prove that, was asked to pay in cash so I did. Got a bad feeling already so talked to the manager, Christine. She assured me they will help out if there's any issue. Came home a few hours later and checked account online only to find out that they indeed charged my debit card. Contacted them and was told they will investigate. Then they said, I should go after my bank. Totally bonkers! They got the money and they want me to go after the bank. They refused to refund me even if I have evidence that they indeed charged me-twice. THIEVES.

If I could only give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! This place is like a little piece of heaven that will truly help you forget the chaotic city for a while. Service was impeccable; everyone was so attentive and prompt. It seems as if they can read your mind to be able to readily give you what you need. Sa staff pa lang, 5 stars na. COVID-19 protocols were also strictly observed. A rapid antigen test is a must for the booking to be confirmed. The resort also serves good food, albeit with quite a limited menu. You can have your food served at the restaurant, in your room (where you can eat at the veranda), or in front of the beach (where they have little cabanas). The place is pet-friendly too. They have a menu for pets and even a playground for them.

Spent our weekend here and may I say with all honesty that this one of the best beach resorts that we have stayed-in 👌👌👌. Check - in / Check - out was hassle-free, the whole staff was very friendly and accommodating, the beach was clean and the food was superb and rooms were very comfortable. Amazing place! Celebrate my dog's birthday here. Super safe, friendly staff, great rooms, amazing food (chef is incredible), excellent beach and the most pet-friendly place I've ever stayed at. They have a dog playpen and pet pack upon check-in.

We just came here today for a day tour for a family of 5 and 1 dog and paid P8,100.00 but sad to say that our expectations from this resort failed. We wanted our children to be here to enjoy the resort since there are good reviews but sad to say that there are no activity at all. Foods are overcooked, an hour and a half before they served leaving it cold already. They should serve the foods as they cook. Dirty restrooms too and a lot of dead insects. We ordered foods just to used up our food vouchers amounting to P4,000.00 but when I checked out receipt, they added an order that we did not actually ordered. Management need to take a look at the overall standing of the resort. We did not have any activity but to sit for 3 hours in the cabanas because it was high tide and nobody can go in the water but to sit. This is a lesson learned for us to check first the weather in that area before you go because it will just be a waste of time and money. At the very beginning of my review let me tell you the rating is 3 because I visited the place when it was opened after pandemic and the rooms were not clean enough neither the staff was equipped to run it smoothly. For food the choices were limited and you need to wait for an hr. So my experience compared to the other places I visited was not good enough. But at the same time it is also possible that they are better now. Let’s talk about the features and facilities. Room size and interiors compared to the money you pay is not worth it. They have many rooms in first and 2nd floor villas but only 4 is sea facing. In other rooms you can only view the walls or if you seat outside , there is no privacy. They really have great beach and beach view. Water sports available there are great. I really liked there beach cabanas and big trees in the open area with the swings. When you see the photos of the rooms in their website, don’t get fooled. The balcony and the room is not huge as you will find in the photos. It is a fish eye view . Coming to the food , neither great nor bad. I expected more out of this place as the rooms are sold in a premium price. Oh! And another good part is you can take your pets along with you.

Been going to Acuaverde for as long as I can remember but this is the first time I've been back since the pandemic! 💖 My go to pet friendly resort. They even give you a pet loyalty card and a pet goody bag with towels, toy, treats and poop bags! 💖 There's even a pet menu! My dog's favorite was Hunter's lean beef patties! 💖 They don't do buffets as much anymore, only depending on the number of guests so it's mostly on weekends. The food is good and the serving size is good for two so I think it's fairly priced. We usually pay about 1800-2200 per meal for 5 people The service in Acuaverde is always so incredible! 🥰 Our server Nhestlie is so accommodating, attentive and nice. The only thing i would comment on are the rooms. They sadly look a little run down and it can be a bit small with luggages and stuff. It was clean overall but needs some renovation. They also offer a couple of watersports you can rent, it's charged to your room but you have to settle it separately through gcash, cash or bank transfer upon checkout.

Awesome place in Batangas, great accomodation, great food, view, and supportive staff - all these come at a premium price. It is a complete getaway from the stress of city life in Manila. I rather come back to this one more time if given the chance, instead of trying nearby resorts in the area. Since there are many huts in the area that are made of organic materials, especially the main dining area, smoking is not allowed. Idling engines for cars are strictly monitored.

Our family and our dogs really enjoyed our stay. It was easy to book the accomodation and the price is reasonable. We stayed in two casa marina rooms which they arranged to be beside each other. The staff were super courteous and the rooms and the entire place was very clean. Food was great and breakfast buffet managed was excellent. Oh by the way, the white sand beach was perfect for swimming and water sports. Defnitely a great place for fur parents like us. We definitely will.be back.😍😍😍

It was a day trip for our Department last May 28. Rainy morning, we had to play some games indoor, luckily it stopped raining around 10:30am. Place was nice, would have been better if there was a swimming pool for day trippers, service was very good, friendly and accommodating staff, food was good, too. Beach could be challenging though to those who don't know how to swim as it gets deeper a couple of meters away from the sands. Not sure if there's any lifeguard around. I enjoyed the UFO and snorkeling, banana boat not available due to bad weather, safety reasons. Nice place to chill during summer 😎

worse place ive stayed in. way too overpriced and they have like 5 things on the menu. water is not hot the pressure is practically non existent. there is nothing to do besides sit in sand and there is no buffet. dont waste your money unless youre a foreigner who wants to stay like a village person.

Me & my family were on a hunt for a quiet place to have fun & relax on the beach of Laiya that day. We were unlucky on the 1st two who happened to have about hundred visitors. Acuaverde Beach Resort was the perfect place we've been looking for. No pool, but we were there for the beach! Clean, quiet place; courteous & friendly staff; great food as well. We'll definitely go back! Probably for an overnight or two.

Celebrating my 30th birthday at Acuaverde was indeed memorable. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating; they ensured everyone's safety. The food was also good. We will definitely come back.

Check in process was smooth but then waited for an hour or more for the "welcome" drink. Finally served in the room. Rooms are very small...I mean very small. Power plugs are inconveniently placed. No tea or creamer replenishment, no housekeeping...dinner plate and welcome drink glasses were not removed until after the check out! Food is okay...some dishes are good some just okay. Beach is coarse sand and very steep. Spend your money elsewhere.

The facilities are very good and relaxing. The room we stayed in also has good amenities like a heated shower and some towels ready for use. The bar's service during lunchtime is slow though and we had to wait for almost half an hour to get our meal. However the restaurant they have is awesome regarding their buffet options. It would be nicer if they added more fans though as its a bit warm there. And regarding the staff... they always greet you nicely which gives me a feeling of comfort within the place. Overall the beach resort is great in terms of facility, services and staff.

It's a nice place with a clean beach and modest resto. I also loved that it's very shaded, due to the many large trees throughout the property. Even when the sun is bright, it feels cool in Acuaverde because of the trees. The best part is the staff - very courteous, cheerful, prompt, and they anticipate every need. Top-notch service! They follow safety protocols strictly, and look neat at all times. But notice how their website doesn't offer a lot of photos of rooms? That's probably because the rooms are too cramped. Not enough space for 2 adults and luggage. We were given the Montana twin 114, and discovered that what the website describes as "cozy" and "tucked away in a quiet part of the resort," in reality mean "small" and "situated in an inner corner where the view is the dirty back kitchen of a cottage." We didn't want to see that disgusting view, so we kept the windows closed the whole time. The so-called balcony wasn't much use either. To be fair, the room was clean, and the mini fridge and air conditioning were good. But lighting wasn't sufficient. Wi-fi was spotty. The cable TV had only 2 channels (teleradyo and college basketball). The water pressure was weak and the heater didn't do much heating. The food is OK. Not bad, but not great. Some dishes are good, but many are too salty or too sweet or too oily. There was also a time when the plates weren't washed well, as in old food spots on the edges. The beach was very nice, but the cabanas look dirty. The common bathrooms were also not very clean. One last disappointing thing: it was hard to feel rested because guests in large groups were loud and noisy, even late at night. Staff does nothing about it.

If these are the only important factors then I recommend the place. While these factors are important, I’m also looking at an overall great facility. And this is where the resort falls short. The whole facility needs major upgrades. For one there is no pool and internet is average. The rooms are very small and dated. They need serious refurbishing. Our cable tv signal was on and off. It will be good to have nicely paved parking and driveway. A little bit of rain makes these areas muddy and difficult to walk on. Also, they have to put more cabanas in the beach. It will be good to have a recreational area so guests can have more activities to do. Overall, I’m giving the resort a generous four stars just because of their staff.

Location, beach and food are awesome. We wanted to do our wedding there because of this. It never happened because they never responded to our communications.... Which sucked. Since we never got to the "next stage" we never saw the inside of the rooms but if they are like the pics online they're "good enough".

The ambiance is pure joy. They have all the amenities you needn and specially for your fur babies. They do have an entrance fee for pets for 600 pesosm but you'll get a bag of freebies for your pets lile water bowl and metals food container. You can also get lifevest for your furbaby too! It's free kayak here but they don't usually give it away since the lifeguard there determines whetjer its safe to use. As for me he said to that it's too windy to use it. Maybe just trust the lifeguard. It's for the best. 😁

We booked here for 3 days and two nights for celebrating our baby's 1st birthday. It was a long drive. took 3 hours from Alabang, and that's without traffic driving with a one year old along... Acuaverde will call you and assist you if ever you'll get lost along the way.. Fortunately we did not.. Upon arriving, the staff was very courteous and considerate to assist us with our stuff.. parking space was huge... welcome drinks are accustomed, (Sampaloc Juice) Very nice.. The frontdesk was very friendly. She explained the details of accomodation promptly and was very hospitable.. the frontdesk villa was amazing. I can sleep there all noon.. The room was okay, we had the casa montana on the 2nd floor. Bed was queen and spring type. sheets are fresh. the AC was working fine. terrace was a plus. TV. is on cignal so reception is good. carrier signal is good too 4G For Smart subs. not sure about globe though.. However, the drain of the shower is clogged. doesnt bother us anyway but that was a less point. toiletries are good. Here comes the good part, if you book here, all meals are included. for us we had 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners and 2 lunches.. all in buffet style service. Food selection is okay.. I give it 4 stars.. They even noticed that our baby was turning 1 so they made a greeting cake for him during our 1st dinner. :) You can bring pets here for certain rooms only. and they have pet menu as well. Beachfront is okay. not that fine grained. though the beach gets deep quite quickly when you swim and current is quite strong. They have a massage service that I can say is just okay.. can give it a 3/5 Overall, I give it a 4/5, I can recommend Acuaverde for small family of 3 to 4. if you are on a tight budget. but also good with large groups if you can and why not? You have value for money, good ambiance, very accomodating staff, serene, good food, lots of activities, and you leave them with a full stomach too... you won't go hungry here. Stayed here for four nights in Jan 2018 , we had a great experience and would definitely come back if ever in the region. The room exceeded our expectations; the AC was cold, the bed comfortable, there is a stocked mini fridge and the wifi was strong for the most part. The only downside is that there was a bit more bugs than we expected. The resort / beach is well maintained, and the staff are very helpful. The food served was included with the room price; the variety was great. Even while staying four nights, we didn't feel as if we ate the same thing any of the days.

Had our team building here and the place was great. The rooms could be cleaner as there were a lot of termite dust in the bathroom. I would expect more for the price. But the best part is that it’s pet friendly. Only giving 3 stars because I find the place too pricey.
