11/2023 Edit: 5 stars now that the main hall has been updated (finishing touches still ongoing, big chandelier I hope gets replaced or at least lit up better). Foods are exceptional as ever. This time I was able to take photos of all the dishes we ordered 🤤 09/2022: Went with family and availed the 50% bank partnership discount. Didn't get to take photos of the food we ordered but each dish was great. Wintermelon soup, beef tenderloin, taro fish, hot prawn salad, rich man's and salted fish fried rice, among others. But my favorite was this tofu dish with broccoli. I love tofu and this hit my mark haha. Servers were all helpful. Would've been five stars if the main hall was better maintained. The other side was newer and more modern but I heard they reserve that for dimsum patrons. Overall, still very recommended 👌🏻

Best of the best. Food is 11/10, everything is top notch. Service is 10/10, with a bulk order, you'll get your food in no time even. Their Lapu-Lapu is always fresh and should be crowned the best lol

First time to eat again at Gloria Maris post-pandemic and STILL THE BEST! From dimsum- hakaw and meatballs being the top faves, to pork siomai and spicy chicken feet. Of course, dining is not complete without lechon macau, fried chicken (love the kropek also. why does kropek taste good in restos but not at home?), suahe, beef, breaded squid (forgot what its called), hot prawn salad, birthday noodles (happy birthday again to the celebrants), et al. Luckily, there's unli jasmine tea! Talk about weight gain after the feast. The staff assigned to us also provided top notch service since our group has different age bracket from seniors to toddlers- Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z, Gen Alphas. 😂 Parking is also not a problem. Can't wait for the next visit. 😋

This is the absolute God-tier of family style Chinese dining in Manila. You can keep coming back here and never get bored of the menu, and the quality remains great throughout the years.

I guess you could say that we are regulars of Gloria Maris. Have been going here for at least 2 decades... they've made a few changes during the pandemic specifically the hotpot room which now kinda looks like a nightclub with bright lights. Last night we arrived at 6:45pm and the room was half full. It's always good to make a reservation specially if you plan on having hotpot... they only hold the table till 6:45 pm. If you haven't had hotpot, the 1st thing you do is fix your sauce and Gloria Maris isn't stingy with theirs. They replenish as you request... I usually put a spoon of everything into my sauce bowl. They used to give Cilantro (wansuy) however they now charge for it. I think it's worth it. Since this is a review, I must include the bad along with the good.... The regular staff are awesome but since it was a holiday, they had on-call waiters too who were stressed out since they weren't really familiar with the menu items. Also it took them 30 minutes to serve our food which normally takes faster on regular nights. As usual... the radish cake was my favorite. Total bill was Php14,000 for a group of 10. Usually it's 900-1000 per person but because we ordered dimsum on top of the other things our bill was more than usual. Tip: They regularly have 50% off if you use a certain kind of credit card but because it was a holiday this offer wasn't available. So next time you go, ask if they have a promo!

Serves good Chinese cuisine. Try their peking duck 3 ways! They have basement parking in the building or at the Promenade just next to it. Safety protocols are followed and waiters wear face masks all the time.

Manila. Glad this OG Chinese restaurant is still as good as ever! A must stop every time I go back home. See pics of the delicious food we ordered, especially the Peking duck!

We spent Manila Day here with family. We usually reserve this place for very special occassions since it’s quite expensive. But they do have special promotions when they partner with banks and offer 50% off on all dishes with a minimum spend of 5k just like when we visited. I recommend that you reserve a table before going there especially if there is a promo such as the one I mentioned. The restaurant is packed and it’s really a go-to place for many Filipino-Chinese because of their excellent service and really really good food. Gloria Maris is also a highly recommended place for wedding receptions, birthdays, and other celebrations. They do have private rooms and even ballrooms that you can choose from to fit your needs. I’ve mentioned that it’s quite expensive here but based on experience, it’s worth the price. We will always come back.

Very good Chinese food here, but you need to make a reservation ahead. Best to order Peking duck, crabs, and fish. Recommended for big parties and special occasions. Parking is a challenge, but if you come earlier, you can park at the parking building across McDonald's.

Multiple floors of chinese dining. I honestly have to say that i have high expectations on the quality of food.. which were left unmet. The food is still good but is clearly missing something to be the kind of chinese that im looking for. But overall, a good place to dine in, especially if you want to impress somebody

So good to be back here. As always food is delectable. Service though is a little slow. Took 25 minutes for our bill to arrive.

An old family favourite. Very good dimsum at reasonable prices and with excellent service. The restaurant itself is also large, spacious and comfortable.

The dimsum combination, fish fillet taosi and yang chow fried rice are good

This place is huge and tends to be packed during lunch and dinner time. Best to have reservation to secure a slot. Their dimsum is great - tried their famous sharksfin siomai, and beancurd roll. Their chicken feet is so-so. Also got their beef brisket and wonton noodle soup which is also great. Overall, price ranges from 180-500 on normal servings, and it can go to 4k for special dish like roast duck, etc.

Not much choices on their Dim Sum menu, but you can order noodles or rice or hot pot from other sections. Service was fast but staff were not attentive. Very hard to get their attention for orders and bills. The place is nice and spacious, but can be crowded on the weekends. We ordered the braised Yee Fu noodle. It was disappointing. It was blend and only mushroom and bean sprout can be found. Will suggest you avoid this dish as it was not worth it. But overall, all other food were not bad. Average cost p/person is p700.
