One
of
my
few
reviews
i
don't
want
to
do
for
selfish
reasons
(that
may
make
a
lot
of
folks
go
there
and
spoil
the
place).
Anyway,
here
goes,
checked
in
Sunday
(group
of
12)
on
their
soft
reopening
after
so
many
months
of
closure
from
gov't
restrictions.
I
was
surprised
to
see
the
place
did
not
seem
to
have
been
closed
for
so
long.
The
place
itself
was
clean
and
was
organized
save
for
a
couple
of
things
(will
mentioned
it
later).
Starting
with
the
pluses,
staff
was
generally
friendly,
helpful
and
attended
to
our
requests,
1
downside,
they
forget
our
welcome
drinks
and
cold
refreshing
towels,
we
found
out
about
it
when
the
rest
of
our
group
checked
in.
Food
was
great
considering
the
price
for
the
full
board
meals
required
for
the
booking
i.e.
vs.
Blue
Coral,
Palm
Beach,
theirs
is
worlds
apart.
Even
the
ala
carte
lunch
we
ordered
(beef
sinigang,
lomi
and
pepperoni
pizza)
was
top
notch
value
for
money.
Security
was
fantastic
(one
of
the
super,
ultra
plus,
amazing
differentiator
for
this
place)
with
only
booked
guests
allowed
inside
the
place
(i.e.
no
vendors,
no
outsiders
from
other
resorts,
even
no
locals
within
the
resort,
beachfront
and
even
some
distance
from
the
shoreline)
which
gives
you
the
peace
of
mind,
tranquility
and
relaxation
no
other
resorts
in
Laiya
I
have
been
to
can
provide
(thank
you
sa
mga
masusungit
na
kuya
guard
for
keeping
folks
away,
my
mean
self
speaking).
Small
but
highly
appreciated
pluses,
bikes
for
free
use
to
roam
around
the
place,
free
sun
protection
lotion,
showers
and
toilets
are
there
when
you
need
it,
banga
with
water
in
the
casita
entrance
and
water
faucets
to
wash
your
feet
after
going
to
the
beach,
kuyas
and
ates
who
rake
the
beach
of
leaves,
rearrange
the
toys
in
the
kid's
areas,
kuya
guard
who
always
keep
people
from
doing
the
wrong
things
(e.g.
park
in
the
bike
parking
area
or
the
resto
entrance
or
does
not
park
facing
the
beach
area
(we
can
smell
your
exhaust
smoke
dude).
Now
with
the
negatives,
this
place
is
expensive,
hehehe,
lomi
is
380,
beef
sinigang
is
450
and
you
need
to
strategize
with
the
buffet
meals
so
you
can
get
your
money's
worth
(save
space
for
the
delicious
dessert,
skip
the
pasta
etc.).
You
can
still
say,
"you
get
what
you
pay
for"
in
a
positive
way
as
the
food
is
delicious.
Definitely,
not
for
the
budget
conscious,
all
kids
regardless
of
age
is
included
in
the
room
headcount
though
half
rate
for
the
full
board
meals
depending
on
age.
Negative
number
2,
no
swimming
pool,
no
TV
nor
any
in-room
entertainment
at
least
for
the
sunrise
casita
we
booked.
If
you
enjoy
the
place
like
we
did,
then
not
a
problem
(you
can
binge-watched
Netflix
when
you
get
home).
Family
and
beach
quality
time
is
"King"
in
this
place.
Negative
number
3,
if
you
are
ordering
ala
carte
(outside
the
buffet
meal),
you
need
to
order
ahead
of
time
and
you
have
to
be
extra
"patient"....hehehe.
Over-all,
we
had
a
grand
time
in
this
place.
We
will
definitely
go
back.
Tip,
get
there
early,
before
the
check-in
time
and
also
after
check-out,
you
can
ask
if
you
can
use
the
beach
and
facilities
(bring
your
own
towels
to
use
for
yourself).
As
always,
good
things
happen
to
those
who
ask
"nicely".
