We liked SLO a lot and found Terrace Hill a great spot to chill and enjoy a sunset.

If you would like to plan a low cost date for the wife or girlfriend. Terrace Hill is the perfect place for this to happen. Bring along dinner, beverages of your choice, and music. She well have a very memorable evening watching the sun go down.

One of my favorite places to have a sunset party or run laps for sunrise and overlook the town!

It's a beautiful vantage point and stupid easy to hike up. Try getting there for a sunrise or sunset!

Love to do this hike with my 9 year old daughter. We go to Sally Loos for lunch and walk down to the open space and up the hill. It's one of my favorite afternoon excursions! Beautiful views and a great place to fly kites at the top! Not too much for kids who aren't really into hiking 😊

Nice hike up for sunset. If I lived here, I would make this my regular run. It's easy to get to and quite pretty.

Great place for a picnic It's a short hike, a little steep, but nothing my grandma couldn't do. Very nice view from the top.

Good place to see the whole area. There is a smallish circular path at the top where you can walk around and get a 360 view. Some shade at the top and bench.

Close by for walks from home. Early to mid afternoon is great for solitary walks. Shaded forest trail with manzanita brush is on the North side. Side trails surround on lower levels from Jennifer at Rachel and Bishop Streets.

Great views from the top, there’s a shorter, steeper trail to the top, if you’re looking for a quick workout

Great hike, not too taxing on the lungs, will do again. Nice view of trains and train station.
