Just have low expectations. We had two groups of friends stay here and one room was definitely nicer than the other (hardwood floors and not gross carpet that didn’t feel clean) Our room was also in a dark corner and could not get the room bright. We had one light for the bathroom area that would flicker and turn off randomly. But overall, it was a cheap place to sleep and we survived.

Rooms are decent enough for the price, but the staff was extremely rude. They called me to ask about my check out time, and when I tried to answer, they interrupted me, yelled at me, then hung up on me. Decent enough if you just need a place to crash for the night, but pray you don't stay long enough to interact with the staff

!DO NOT RECOMMEND! Worst Motel ever, was there yesterday and got the worst service from them. wasn’t even a 5 star hotel and they still have the nerve to be rude and violent. Front desk lady literally was screaming at us while i was carrying my baby had no type of respect kicked one of my family members out of her “property” all because he noticed how rude they were and suggested us to just leave and go get a room at a hotel he had booked at. Guy working with her was also very rude talking to my husband about “youu talk to me with respect” those people must have mental problems or bad behavior disorder. !DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL! Rooms aren’t even worth paying for , a/c doesn’t even work and they don’t even care if it’s hot in there and you have babies! I wouldn’t even rate this 1 star they don’t deserve it , they should just shut down this motel COMPLETELY.

Do NOT rent a room here. The staff in the front office is RUDE and VIOLENT. They told me my belongings had to be in my car (I do not have one) and they wouldn't give me the key to the room I paid for because I didn't have a car. The wife became violent, despite her husband literally ordering her to not "do that again". We have video of it. They were unhinged. Additionally, the rooms are trash, there's evidence of bedbugs, and there's clearly been no deep cleaning any time in the past decade.

The owners are rude and discriminate. The wife also assaulted me and my girlfriend for recording thier rude behavior. Save your time and money and don't come here. I would rate this 0 stars if I could. We went to get a room for a night and because we had too much stuff with us they refused us. And when we started recording them to have them say they were not allowing us to stay there cause of all stuff they said yes and then the wife realized we were recording and she tried to grab the phone out of my girlfriends hands and assaulted her and then me. Her husband is a coward as well taunting me to try to hit him and while saying I'm going to be on the street tonight. Just indecent human beings over there.

The rooms and furniture were dirty old and outdated mostly destroyed, the service from the resident manager was egregious, very rude and maybe constant nasty to any customer and about any customer that didn't do exactly what he wanted

Well this is a nice little place. Little cozy convenient and that is located right off the freeway next to a Jack In The Box and Taco Bell. The grounds are well kept and maintained with a nice view of some mountains in the background beautiful view of mountains in the background. The rooms are nice-sized I got a two bed room that was little outdated could look a little better but did the job. Price was just right not expensive but just right for the price. The pool nice and cleaned and well maintained with once again a beautiful view of the mountains surrounded by some trees. The staff was so so not too much miles serious unless you talk to them. Other than that I give it a three stars. I mean you can't go wrong you're near the beach with beautiful weather

One of the worst places we have started at. Clogged bathroom sink. Kindergarten size toilets. The oldest, ugliest chair I have ever seen. Flat pillows. Peeling paint. Woodlake around mirror broken.

We stayed one night and were very happy with our experience! Very kind personnel and simple but good accommodation - big rooms and comfortable bed.

We came to stay here for our anniversary. Front desk was extremely hard to understand, which we are patient with. When we got to our room, it was absolutely FILTHY. Stains on both beds, first all over the floor and bugs found in multiple places. They told us they would provide a full refund, and once we left, charged us for half and would not return. We’re not super picky, but this place was absolutely disgusting. Don’t stay here.

Perfectly good little motel. Not a 5 star resort, but for a low price at last minute it was surprising nice. I stayed in a regular King bed room, some friends of ours had the suite. The suites look like converted one bedroom apartments with a second bed put in part of the living room, but they're cozy. The motel does show its age, but hey, it's an older motel so... that's kind of how things work.

Stayed there one night. Floor was a sticky carpet, the bathtub had a faucet that leaked all night and didn’t drain properly so that other peoples hair came up as I was showering. Lastly, woke up with bed bug bites.

I give these people a BELOW ZERO, I booked my stay on booking.com I was given a confirmation number and a pin code, when I arrived the Indian man was VERY Very DISRESPECTFUL, told me before he ran my card that it had been declined, my friend used her card and he declined her card also. He yelled at us and said he can give our room to someone else, he said things that indicated he can talk to use this way because we were woman. He refused us our room. Never have I experienced anything like this in my life, we went down the road got another room and our cards were fine.

The room was clean, but the TV was from the earlier 2000's. It was stuck on one channel and could not be changed. The towels were paper thin, but the water pressure was good. You get what you pay for.

When getting into our room,we noticed a smell coming from the bathroom. Smelled like a public restroom..Flooring was out to of date..2 different color flooring.. "The Mini kitchen" faucet handle was broken, almost came off. This hotel room is disgusting. .Couldn't even take showers cause how gross it smelled. TV was like a 10" ..Thing was so small. Service was excellent but rooms was a -1 Will not ever come back here again.

I must have gotten a bad room (room 156). The staff was nice and it’s a seemingly quaint hotel, but the quality of my room was bad. The walls were dirty, the furniture was coming apart, the beds were in terrible shape. Perhaps the room was one of the most used. Also, I booked on their website where it said they offer breakfast, but they do not offer breakfast due to covid.

Location was perfect. Close to freeway or highway. Hotel itself has a restaurant or food area. Fast food nearby and close to downtown. One of the towel was dirty, I was about to use it and when Iook at it. Still has stain and looks like mucus. Booking price was $450.03 But hotel charged me of $460.03 (just checked my credit card and this charged was shown). Looks like this place has a hidden fee which is a BIG NO NO for me. So, not returning to this place in the future.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Coffee maker with one coffee pods but no cups. No shampoo but office said they have some of we wanted to walk over. USB port didn't work. Cheap bath fixtures with accumulated calcium deposit. A 2.5 star place quickly on the way lower.

Affordable hotel in a convenient location for historic district and Cal Poly. Plenty of parking, reasonable sized rooms, decent water pressure, nice but smallish pool. Staff was effective but not the friendliest, check in and out were easy. Rooms have had a refresh with laminate flooring but the buildings are still a bit dated and the beds and pillows could be better. For the price I was pleased. Only real complaint was that I'm allergic to most fur and I'm guessing someone with a service animal had stayed there recently. If you have allergies take your meds!
