Nice quiet park. Great for kids and families. Tennis, disc golf, swimming all available. Plenty of space for a run or walk.

On the way from Big Sur, we stopped for gas at Costco. We found this place for a lunch break, and my god! It was such an amazing park for kids. There were huge slides, ziplines, a sandpit for volleyball, and even a swimming pool. Restrooms were clean and neat. It's very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this place for children of all ages and I believe this is one of the top family-friendly parks near CA-101.

This park is amazing. The big park is great for ages 4 and up but there is a smaller area for younger kiddos. There is 5 tall slides, 3 are bendy ones and 2 are straight ones (1 of them was under construction). To the left of the 2 straight sides, there is astro turf that slopes down where kids use flat cardboard boxes as sleds to slide down. There are plenty of cardboard pieces for kids to use. In addition to the tall slides, there is a zip line that is pretty fun. There is the typical play structure that most playgrounds have such as ladders, fire poles, bridges, swings, tire swing, climbing net etc. There is also a cute seesaw. You enter the playground through a school which is a little odd and the parking area is about a short block walk to the playground. There is a sand volleyball court and plenty of benches for parents to sit, have a snack and relax while watching their little ones play. The restrooms are open. But the water fountains are not so bring water bottles. There is plenty of grounds to take a stroll or bring a pet. You can go through a nice woods like area with a creek. I went during the week day and spent a couple of hours there. There is not much area for shade so bring sunscreen on a sunny day because you will be completely exposed.

Sinsheimer Park is life. The playground is amazing, state of the art. The tennis courts and baseball fields are nice. And don’t get me started on the bathrooms. The mens bathroom is amazing. The urinal is a “trough” style and it has changed my life. Highly recommend.

My kids loved it! They played the most on the zip line, tall slide and grass sliding hill. Bummer is the nearest bathrooms were at the baseball field and did not have soap dispensers.

This park was fabulous! They have a artificial grass turf hill to sleddown. There's plenty of cardboard to use as a slide at the park, however if you want to prepare a superslider at home with built in handles that would be awesome! Three turny twisty slides for big kids or brave adults and a couple smaller slides for smaller kids. They also have a zip line!! Im proposing a designated adult park day, lol. It would be awesome during the weekdays for homeschool park days. Enjoy!

The playground is a lot of fun for kids of all ages. Even the slide hill is fun for adults. Might want to bring a few cardboard boxes to use to slide down. Sometimes (most of the time) there are a few lying around. There’s a few picnic tables with BBQ grills, softball park, horseshoes, tennis courts, walking path and frisbee golf course. It’s a great all-around park.

My first time at a baseball game here after moving from San Diego that normally I would have to spend over $100 for a game ticket, parking, beer, etc. I felt like I was back in the days of my childhood when parking was free, tickets were affordable, fun games for the kids during the innings, prizes and free cups for filtered water for all. Wow! Thank you Sinsheimer Park, the Blues team and the city of San Luis Obispo for reaffirming my dream that ‘small’ towns really do care and show it.

Really fun park to play at even if your older (I’m 14) there is a fake grass hill that you can slide down on cardboard and it’s really fun. There is the baseball stadium right next to the park so my friend and I were watching the game and then going back and forth between the park and the stadium.

We bring the kids to games out here as well as the park itself. They love the play structures and cardboard hill!

As an adult my favorite park to take my kids to. Biking and hiking, Frisbee golf, tennis courts, volleyball pit, zip line in the play area. There is a great play structure three stories tall with lots of slides and a toddler version set away from the big kids. The best part is the "grass" hill you slide down on with cardboard. Top it all off with it's the home for Blues Base Ball Team. There is a very nice mini stadium they play at withe all the trimmings. Hot Dogs, 🍺 and BBQ

Awesome park. So much fun sliding down the hill on cardboard very creative. There's so much for the whole family here from amazing play structures to volleyball to watching baseball games a swimming pool and more. Go check it out this park is a must experience.

We actually go here for the SLO Blues Baseball games, but in all honesty, we would rather go to a game here, local in our hometown, than go to an MLB game. This baseball field and game experience is amazing! The Sinsheimer Park is equally incredible. The playground is the best! There is a slide hill where the kids slide down on boxes. It is truly the fun capital of parks. Love this park! Love, our hometown vibe!

Great park for kids to run around and play, tennis courts and the disc golf course which is the main reason I go out there. Not the most technical or largest, but a nice challenge, easy to get to, can be technical if you miss your shot, and easy to get to. Always an enjoyable time.

Unique park with a zipline and a hill you can ride down on cardboard. Kids enjoyed it!
