The
stores
here
are
great,
wonderful
service.
But
the
security
guards
seem
to
think
you
need
justification
to
sit
on
the
public
benches
located
outside
of
the
stores.
I
had
been
sitting
down
after
going
into
Michaels,
as
I
was
waiting
for
my
ride.
I
was
sitting
down
for
maybe
5
minutes
before
I
was
approached
by
two
security
guards,
who
asked
why
I
was
sitting
on
the
bench
(phrased
as
"so,
are
you
waiting
for
your
ride
or
something?).
I
really
didn't
appreciate
the
assumption
that
I
was
doing
something
wrong
by
sitting
in
a
public
space,
or
the
way
that
it
seemed
like
I
needed
a
reason
to
be
sitting
there.
I
might
have
been
waiting
for
my
ride,
but
people
shouldn't
need
a
reason
to
exist
in
public
spaces.
If
somebody
wants
to
sit
down,
they
should
be
able
to,
without
having
to
justify
why
they're
sitting
