I went in for x rays and they couldn’t book a cleaning with it, which is inconvenient and not like any dentist i have ever been too. AND THEN they told me i had like 10 cavities, which to me made no sense. I came back for the cleaning and they took like 5 min on it (?) I went into another dentist with high ratings as well and they said i have ZERO cavities, which makes sense to me (i’m young and take great care of my teeth). I am obviously disappointed with this experience, and y’all deserve better dental care than this.

Office canceled appointment because I did not confirm it. The URL to confirm is malicious, which I informed the front desk of. She falsely claimed I was also called, which she would not confirm when, or offer any other proof. On top of it, they do not have the decency or professionalism to send an email notice the appointment was canceled. Extremely poor customer service, most likely a reflection of their other services too.

I've been coming here for a few months to get several cavities filled. I have issues with my jaw and opening it, but Dr. Makwana and his team have been very understanding and very skilled in treating me. While there were a few hiccups in the beginning, I think that was just the process of being a new patient. Shout out to Bailey, she makes the experience better and was very helpful and kind. She definitely eased my anxiety over the process.

They took care of my 85 year old mother and treated with with kindness, comfort, and dignity. They also made sure to explain everything and manage her pain so her fear was at ease. And she is a handful so good job Ideal Dental!

Dr.Makwana has been the best dentist I’ve ever had. He makes sure I’m always comfortable and aware of what he is actively doing and why. His hygienists and front desk employees are also super nice. I moved to north Austin and I still drive to San Marcos for my appointments because they’re so great to me. 10/10 would suggest.

Very nice. I had been looking around for a dentist for an extraction that didn't cost an arm & a leg. They got me in, had me in and out within maybe 30 mins. Explained everything as he worked on my tooth. Was very nice. Explained everything afterwards.

Everyone was so nice and helpful there. Very sympathetic and supportive. They are all wonderful people who work there and I would highly recommend this place! They definitely know what they are doing. Also after 27 years I can finally say I will be happy again, thanks to ideal dental ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Edit: I have been here three times. The first time I really liked the dentist and thought the receptionist went above and beyond - she is super sweet and helpful. The second visit, I went in and the visit for a basic cleaning took two hours total. The dentist was great and thorough as the first time, as well as office staff, but the hygienist was brand new and nervous. Not the greatest experience and left me uncomfortable and unhappy. I voiced my concerns and the dentist personally called me, made things right, gave me a follow up appointment and did the cleaning himself within a small window of time. The office manager who is also very sweet and has genuine care for patients assisted. I appreciate the care for patients here and the willingness to listen to feedback and make things right. That’s important for me. I will most likely return for Invisalign and future cleanings.
