Hubby and I were very curious about this shop as it mentioned wood fired coffee. He tried the Blue Moon latte and I got an Americano with moon milk. Both drinks were very tasty. We actually went a second time during the weekend trip. The employees were very friendly. I highly recommend this place. I will be going again during our next trip to San Marcos.

Summer Moon is the best! I come here at least 5 times a week to study and it never disappoints. Good coffee is always a plus but the baristas working here is what makes this coffee shop the best. Always greeting and are super friendly towards customers. They prioritize the lines and make sure each customer is satisfied. Highly recommend stopping by if in the area for a coffee!

We fell in love with this place! 🥰 my daughter and I legit love this cute coffee shop and the employees were super sweet! We got there 10 minutes to closing and it didn’t look like we were the only ones trying to get our coffee fix last minute and the employees weren’t bitter or upset they welcomed everyone to get their coffee. The coffee is amazing and their vegan treats were just as good! Thank you for a great experience last night! ♥️☕️

I hit up the San Antonio U.S. 281 location once per month, since they opened. Today I happened to be in San Marcos. This location DOES NOT TAKE CASH. (Please explain why!?) [I'll have to see if the SA location still accepts cash.] I love supporting local business and HATE Starbucks!!!! However, I can not support a business that chooses to not accept cash. I did NOT want to post a ☆☆ review. I love Summer Moon. However, folks need to know you do not take cash. That may be OK with your base, but not me. There may be a valid reason. If so, perhaps I will revise my rating and review. (No, Covid is not nor has ever been a valid reason)

The Entire Staff, Mngmt are Friendly, Engaging, Attentive, Professional as well considerate. I enjoy the entire atmosphere during each visit.

Absolutely some of the best coffee I've had. Moon milk seems a little gimmicky but cute. Can't recommend this place enough.

I just visited this place yesterday by accident and i will say it is my new favorite spot for coffee! Everyone in the facility is friendly, fast and informative on their products that they have. My new favorite is the summer moon latte which, hot, taste like blue bell melted ice cream!!! I say for anyone looking for premium coffee, this is the spot! Highly recommended!!!

My husband, our son, and two of our grandchildren (Eedan and Ella) stopped into Summer Moon for drinks. Eedan and Ella loved the frozen hot chocolate! My husband enjoyed the espresso milkshake! I loved my Blue Moon Latte, and my son added sugar to his delicious hibiscus tea. Recommended!

Summer Moon makes my all-time favorite coffee, and I like coffee. The Summer Moon Latte and other variations with moon milk really set these drinks apart, along with fire-roasted coffee. I'll stop here even when I don't need a drink. On the down side, they don't offer much in the way of eats and while they have ample seating inside, which I've seen loaded with college students, the atmosphere is pretty sterile.

I love little cafes! So this may be my bias. However, this little shop holds a great location with a variety of drinks and snacks for the customer. Overall great!

My favorite part about my day is coming to get my 3/4 winter moon.🤍 I’ve been coming here since it opened and the customer service is amazing! The staff always creates an inviting atmosphere with their friendly attitudes and warm smiles. 🥰This is my favorite coffee shop in San Marcos. I wish I could rate the staff of this establishment a 10/10. Specifically, a young lady by the name of Jordan. Her kindness made a very stressful and difficult time bearable by just being her kind self. Summer Moon is incredibly fortunate to have someone like Jordan serving it's customers.

Went to summer moon this morning and got an iced mocha moon latte and it’s amazing! The service is very fast. I was in and out within 5 minutes! I also got their potato, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos and they were not that good. The potatoes were too dry and even trying to cover it in salsa did not help. I also wish the staff was more cheerful. When I walk in the staff was not smiling or greeting anyone.

I would say it's a decent espresso but their shop isn't know for their espresso rather their sweetened drinks, the inside of the store is very and clean. It's your Texas coffee shop

Great service and the iced latte winter moon in my absolute favorite. We also bought the Velvet Blaze cups for home and this coffee is smooth and delicious! I love Summer Moon!

Had an Americano. Coffee is just ok. A little better than hotel coffee. Really surprised they are holding on to “no cash”. Really don’t want to support that kind of business. Will take my cash elsewhere next time. I wish “the bump” coffee was here or at least coffee shops aspired to that level of quality.

The coffee was great and fire roasted and moon milk did seem to make a big difference in flavor. I did have an issue with the employees. My partner is intolerant to dairy and asked for an alternative to milk twice before getting an answer. The look that the cashier and the other employee gave us was very harsh and looked like they were holding their comments about it. They didn't say anything, but their feelings about the request were expressed in a large way by their face. The employees need to understand that some people can't drink any type of milk. If the business doesn't accept that, then why do they even carry an alternative to dairy. Just say they do not offer a dairy free drink and accept the loss in sale or give alternative drink options.

The Summer Moon in Fort Worth, TX was great. This place never has anything gluten free, and I’m pretty sure they just told me they don’t carry gluten free items anymore. Or their communication skills are a bit, um… I’m just done trying with them because I genuinely have to eat gf for health and can’t just order something else. 🤨 So, I’m baking my own banana nut bread today! 😩 Plus, I can’t have coffee anymore so I order the hot chocolate and it’s more like cloyingly sweet milk that had a dream it might one day meet some cocoa. Blech 🤢

This coffee spot was amazingly good. 👏 I am in town for the weekend and decided to try it out. Very nice flavor. Very hot when served. I ordered the Half Moon Latte Hot. Really good!

Exceptional service and AMAZING coffee. First time trying this place and I’m obsessed. Definitely coming back. We had the 007, and a hot blue moon latte. So good I took an iced latte to go.. The secret is definitely the moon milk! Visiting from McAllen, Tx
