Luckily I live 10 minutes from this beautiful garden and walk here daily. I've been here many hundreds of times but it never ceases to amaze. It's not just the beautiful gardens, the peacocks, the super friendly staff it's the overall sense of peace and Oneness with nature that is so Pleasant to look forward to. Luckily in this vicinity we also have Huntington Library and Descanso Gardens for our enjoyment. But the Arboretum has a certain charm a little more rustic but someplace I keep returning to. Over the past several years I've been fortunate enough to walk here at least 3 times a week. Around 450 times I figure. All seasons of the yr hold their charm here.

This spot is a treasure. Come on a nice spring or fall day. It's a special day. They have peacocks just strolling the property. How cool. It's technically in Arcadia which is just outside of LA. That's why it is Los Angeles County. There so much variety you can stroll and get lost and have tranquility. Then you are steps away from the Arcadia mall and great food options. This place is worth many visits. The smells of nature and flowers are all around.

Thousands of flowers blooming in The LA Arboretum. Delightful mild mixed fragrant scents from all kinds of flowers in different parts of the garden. Our favorite spots were by the tranquil waterfall, mountain view from top of waterfall, watching the peacocks, and reflection of Queen Anne Cottage. TIPS: As of 5/2, the Rose Garden is in full bloom. The new entrance is completing in July 2023 so use the North Entrance for now.

I love this park so much because it’s a nice place to walk around and look the many types of flowers and tree and many other thing to see. I went here during the summer and it was extremely hot, I recommend to go here during any other season. I also recommend to come here with family to take many pictures of the beautiful views.

BIG KIDS @ heart here! I'm a natural explorer, so I put game on these two light lovers whom are still fairly new to the all the amazing events LA has to offer! We thoroughly enjoyed all the installations and really loved that we went after the holidays when the crowds have died down. I can't imagine having to wait in line to take a picture at the end of that light tunnel. It was overall a great experience and I loved that they served ALCOHOL!! This was a fun girl date idea. We saw all types of groups though, young, older, children, families, couples, and etc. We danced, twirled, laughed our way through the installations and took in all the lights and music that was to be indulged. Enjoy the photos, doesn't do the magic of it justice. :)

Love the garden and the atmospheres there every time I go with my family. I could stay there all day. It just calms me down and relax.

Since I live close by, I have a membership here. Perfect for walks in nature, a cup of coffee (the Peacock Cafe makes very good coffee), lunch or just a quiet place to read outside. The staff appreciates members. You feel welcomed every time you check-in. There have been renovations made to the entrance recently, so the gift shop has been closed. When it opens again they will have seasonal decorations, t-shirts, snacks and gardening supplies. Although it has been quite hot in Arcadia lately, there are a few areas to sit in the shade and find a light breeze. If you are going to walk around, try to go early in the morning and bring water or buy a drink at the Cafe.

The Arboretum is a great place to spend a day walking around. It’s pretty cool being at the location where they shot parts of Jurassic Park. You’ll find nice landscaping, cool plants, and peacocks walking around.

Had a great evening with the Pasadena pop presenting the "Kings of Soul" Motown outdoor concert. It was relaxing and fun! Stay cool "Life Is To Enjoy!" More summer arboretum concerts yet to come!!

The Christmas lights were a big disappointment, they used to be a lot better before, with the dragon and huge Peacock made out of lights. Thanks USBANK! 🫤

This arboretum is huge, well-maintained, and has a really cool variety of plants. There are different loops with plants from different regions of the world (e.g. Africa, Australia). We spent about 1.5 hours here and saw about half of the regions. Many plants are labeled and there are placards with historical information about the gardens. There are lots of peacocks roaming around. Great for kids. Easy walking paths.

A very big and beautiful garden paradise! The peacocks are the gem piece of this arboretum, but the plant life is Beautiful and various.

Visited recently on what turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. The place is nice and quite relaxing but a bit underwhelming. First of all the pricing is a bit high, the lack of an interacting map and the lack of signage both for paths and for identifying plants makes it even less worth the price of entrance. The entrance has large piece of property of grass with nothing to see. I was really disappointed especially since i had been there before as a young kid. I did enjoy the area of the forest and perennial section only because i had great company and because of weather lots of critters out. One thing that is really irritating and most likely happens quite a bit here and other open areas is that people seem to need being on the phone and having loud conversations or playing music. The park should have signs posted and ask people to refrain from that if possible. Hearing a person talking on the phone or listening to music really ruins the tranquility of the place

Still like this place better than Huntington Library. It's not as crowded as Huntington Library, and I love the wild peacocks that runs around here. If you really like it after visiting here, I definitely recommend you purchase the annual pass, and have the ticket you just purchased go toward the annual pass.

Went for the "lightscape" show after dark. Nice 1.2 mile walk with stops for cocktails and hot drinks, yes Baileys and coffee and you can make s'mores. Great outdoor activities with family or friends.

It's one of our family's favorite places. Beautiful place to wonder about and enjoy nature. Different gardens and the peacocks walking or resting on trees are beautiful. The holiday light shows it's always Beautiful too. We got the 5:30 pm entrance tickets and parked at the arena. It was perfect. Early enough that we didn't wait in any lines for shuttle or entrace.

👍👍 The park has a public service theme, it seemed very clean with a small dog park and a segregated large dog park at the back end across the bridge. I had a fantastic time with my girlfriend as we walked along the park and the general aesthetic was cheerful and the atmosphere was kind and open. As som...
