Pedro point is a fantastic spot if you love moderate hikes but want a beautiful view of the coast. Came before noon and was met with a thick dense fog which did prevent us from seeing further along the coastline as we would have liked but closer towards the afternoon, the fog started clearing. Beautiful views that I would highly recommend checking out. I would recommend checking the weather forecasts before arrival if you want to be absolutely certain about visibility. Plenty of free parking in the community nearby with a short easy walk to the trailhead near ACE parking lot. The Devil’s Slide Trail North parking lot is extremely limited in size and is almost always filled.

One of the most beautiful views in Pacifica. And yes you can walk on the neighboring Shelter Cove Beach. But with conditions. You CAN go to that beach. Just not the properties above the high tide line. By Surfboard / Paddle board. Hike around on the rocks at low tide. Use a boat. OR Rent a house. Know a tenant and be invited to a house.. OR But no,,,, the general public cannot use the stairs to reach the beach.

Really nice hike to an overlook with gorgeous views of the Pacific. Extremely peaceful with songbirds chirping, waves crashing, and the breeze rustling the trees. Very pretty wildflowers, trees, and plants all along the route.

So this is not a state or county park. It’s literally a dirt path to the side of a cliff next to someone’s house! We were able to park on the street and walk the path no problem. It’s very short but sooooooo worth it. One of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.

Accessible from Pacifica Linda Mar parking lot (ACE's hardware), and Devil's Slide Trail North entrance. It's a short hike to the Pedro Point but has a couple of steep up/down sections. Hiking poles are highly recommended. Enjoy the views of the coastal cliffs and the Pacifica city and beach at the point.

Beautiful and yet challenging hike in some spots! We did around a 3 mile loop starting from the Devils Slide Parking to the South ridge trail to Pedro point and on our way back came from arroyo trail. Some areas are quite steep and slippery so be careful, but other than that a very doable hike! The views of the coast and cliffs are gorgeous, Pedro point is just stunning with the jutting rocks and arroyo trail transports you into a lush green forest. We had an amazing time!

Beautiful point. Crazy drive through a neighborhood. The trail is off of someone's walkway where the road ends. Parking isn't really available.

What a gorgeous spot for hiking! While approaching the point, you would literally feel like you’re walking in clouds. It feels amazing and it’s such a wonderful hiking experience!

Pedro Point is a fairly easy hike up from the beach. Great views all around and a great way to see the larger Pacific coast of the Bay Area peninsula. I visited and had a good time just people watching (lots of surfing in the nearby cove). Definitely a great spot for dogs, or anything that likes to chase tennis balls and chew on sticks, such as children.

Great views on clear days, mysterious on foggy days; I tend to see more dogs here than other friendly access trails on the beach; I recommend coming here when you can.

Good point to take beautiful pictures . This is like a dead end with house gate. However next to the house there is a tiny public lane. Check in the pictures. Good place to tale pictures

It's one of my favorite hikes in the area. Breathtaking views and a peaceful hike, with access to many other trails.
