this cool sports bar has a good atmosphere, great vibe, wide selection of IPAs on tap, delicious finger food (including our favorite chicken lumpia), and attentive staff. What more can you ask for?

Because downtown SM is a sports bar desert this is my place to go. Lots of TV's. Good for sports days. Food is pretty good. I liked the carnitas tacos. They give you 2 but I got enough meat to make 4. Will definitely get them again. Since they already make fish and chips I would suggest they add some Baja tacos with a chipotle crema to the menu.

This place is pretty hit or miss. COVID warning: this isn't the safest place I've ever been. The bartender / server wears a bandana around his face rather than a mask, and the surfaces don't seem super clean, but I know everyone's trying their hardest right now. Some things here are really tasty, surprisingly so for a dingy sports bar - I recommend the sliders, the burger, the fries. I can't remember if the wings were good or not. I don't recommend the BLT, it was really dry and just... not good. I'll probably come back to watch a game or something once outdoor dining opens back up.

Came to this place for the first time back in early 2001. Haven't lived in the area since 2004, but dropped in on a business trip. Amazed to see it still exists, and still has the same owner and atmosphere! Was always a great place to hang out, and still is. Was a good trip down memory lane.

A vibrant and sociable venue. Was there to watch the Golden State Warriors play the Boston Celtics in the NBA series finals game. The atmosphere was electric. The beers and 'shots' flowed to accompany the hot wings. Made new friends in the process.

One of the best places to watch a sporting event and grabs cold one. THE TVs DONT LAG HERE! The TVs are synced! Reasonable drink prices and prolly the heftiest nachos you’ll ever have. I’ll be back.

Slow table service. No Modelo on tap despite posters advertising it. Noisy.

We dropped in for a few drinks. We ordered a few appetizers to hold us over for diner. You're standard sports bar food and beverages. I'd come back again!

Great burgers, beer, and service. So impressed with the memory of the gentleman waiter and bartender.

If you're a fan of local bay area sports, 3rd ave bar and grill is where you'll be if you're not already at the game. Nice cold beer to your left and a huge, deliciously fattening, and yummy pile of nachos on your right, with the sound of cheers and rival banter blasting all around you. Giant's baseball is just around the corner- see you there on game day!
