A beautiful multi-use park in the heart of San Miguel. A tree-filled oasis with lots of paths, basketball courts, a small gazebo, a children's playground, restrooms, a few benches and multiple entrances. The perfect place for a city respite. A welcoming green space for some time in nature. 4.5 stars

Beautiful city park esp if you like gardening , succulents and cacti. The whole park is lined with locals selling multitude of succulents , cacti , flowers and other plants. Lot of families around , safe and clean place. Also some nice garden pottery and ornaments for sale. Because it’s away from the central area more local prices. The variety of succulents and cacti is amazing , so many types I have not seen before.

I visited this park the day before a friend's wedding. It's a nice size park that you can take a good long strobe but it's not too large. There are playgrounds and even a full size basketball court. The people here are friendly. It's surrounded by home so it's not too touristy. The nearest bar is about 5 minutes away by feet. There's a really large gazebo that can fit easily 50 people. We gathered here when it rained. Attaching picture is from our experience.

Not too big, not too small. Something for everyone - beautiful gardens, playgrounds, basketball, fountains, public art, and artists selling their wares. Dogs must stay on leash as there’s no grass to run on (hence one star off). Sometimes wedding parties come through - with music!

Beautiful very well kept park. They were doing temperature checks and giving antibacterial gel at entrance. A few vendors during the weekend selling art and jewelry. Very nice for a calm stroll. Loved the metal recycling bird, great initiative.

Delightful quiet park with lots of nooks and crannies to explore but my favorite is the pollinators garden area, watching the beautiful butterflies feeding on the flowers. Lots of small fountains supplying water for the dogs to paddle in and drink from and sculptures dotted throughout. Lots of benches and shade from the sun. The park is very clean and impeccably maintained. Several small kiosks near the basketball courts provide snacks and cold drinks and the tomen's. (6 mxp) near the children's area and bandstand are clean and well maintained although there are no toilet seats, at least in the mens. The perfect peaceful place to relax and while away some time in reflection.

We parked our car on the side of the street for free near this park and this was the first area we explored while in San Miguel de Allende. The park is a great place to hang out, it’s quite pretty with a lot of people about. We did a nice walk around the park which was very flat, easy and then we made our way out to walk into the main town. “Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

A cool place to check out once, and the guides do know their stuff, but it's nothing more than a botanical garden with a short circuit. You can go for small hikes but the heat can be a lot. It's meant to be on dessert plants, so it does look like it.

Local park offers playground for kids and place to sit. We arrived early for a dinner reservation so we came down to the park to sit and wait.

Charming, authentic local park, where kids come to play, music bands come to practice, and artists come to exhibit and sell their art on the weekend. I love coming here for people watching and relaxing. Plenty of shade & Snack vendors that will fulfill your munchies!

Beautiful landscape for this central park in San Miguel de Allende. Easy to walk the loop path around the park. Lush, small gardens and fountains offer great rest spots. Local vendors and artists have lots to offer while you visit. Great to watch all the folks play basketball on their court... The park really shows the sense of community within the city. It was funny that we didn't see many ex-pats enjoying the park.

Beautiful park. I especially loved the pollinator garden. Loads of butterflies (we saw zebra butterflies, monarchs, and yellow swallowtails among others), non stinging bees, and hummingbirds.

I've watched the steady growth and remarkable improvements of Benito Juarez Park in Central San Miguel de Allende since first walking through this amazing beautiful place on my first visit in 1967. I was later married in the charming adjoining Hotel Villa Santa Monica. Today the park is truly one of the most visited and most appealing places in all of this classic Colonial Mexican village. Don't miss a stroll through Juarez Park while enjoying your visit to this exceptionally special town.

Amazing Park near beautiful homes. This Park is a walk to the past in the middle of a grand society. Clean with plenty of therapeutic sittings, peace and calmed. Perfect for nature bathing shinrin yoku!

Stunning Park. Always something going on on the weekends. Very peaceful place to just sit and relax. Very well maintained. We walk through it every day on our way to the gym. I guess the best way to call it: peaceful and relaxing. If you visit SMA, a must-see. Lot's of history. Great place for run or jog.

A terrific place to sit and watch the locals play basketball, sell their crafts, and enjoy the weather. It's lush greenery adds to the ambiance. You can find peaceful places to sit, or areas with activities!

English review: this has to be the best park in SMA. I've got a sneaky feeling that a bunch of old white folks complained to someone about benches in SMA, because I swear, per capita there's more benches in SMA than any city I've ever experienced. Thank you. Wear mosquito repellent; we took a break near the creek in this park and I was bitten by a very fast mosquito, so wear repellant even though it's dry in SMA, there are still mosquitoes.
