This place is terrible. The staff behaved in a rather unpleasant manner, there is a sign by the entrance that says you must wait to be seated, the place had loads of tables so I asked if they could seat us and the people making the food started making fun of us in Spanish, thinking we wouldn't understand. The waiter only came to take our order after we called him, despite the fact that we had been waiting for a while. It took them an eternity to bring us the bill, I would understand if there were a lot of people. That was not the case. The churros were not that good, the ice cream is actually soft cream, the cups had cracks and tears and the drinks had zero sugar. Never ever coming back here.

We went by a little too late to have access to the full menu, but still enjoyed a banana Nutella crepe and café mocha. My dog loved the whipped cream. I love the outdoor seating, my dog was happy. We were there right after 3pm, which is apparently the buffet/full menu cut off.

I usually love coming here for breakfast when I visit Mexico City however I went last week and this place won first place in worst service. - Line was long and there were tables available however the person seating them didn’t seem eager to sit them efficiently - When we finally sat down, we didn’t get our beverage order taken until much later - We did not have utensils available when we got to our table and I had to ask three different staff members for a fork. One of the waiters rudely said they’d bring it to the table but they arrived much after we had already served ourselves food from the buffet - There were no plates available for serving ourselves food various times but it turned out ok given there was also no food out for a while since the food was running out quickly. I’ve seen this place busy and they’ve been able to keep up with the clientele but I don’t know what happened that day. It was either a terrible day to go or they were severely understaffed however their attitude could’ve made the day better and that was not the case.

I’ve been several times to the La Galeterie, and I can say it’s a very good buffet option! The variety of food is nice, there are plenty things to choose from. Churros and coffee are included. On the weekends the menu is a bit different and the price is a little higher. Overall a decent place to eat quality food for a small price.

Buffet on Sundays has great price and tasty food. They take cards. Be patient its always crowded. Churros and Buñuelos are awesome 👍 Service is not their forte just make sure to review your bill at the end. I got 2 extra items that I don't order. Waiters need to be trained urgently. Try not to get there hungry cuz food and coffee take is not served that fast.

Green tomato enchiladas are soo delicious that we will be back asap,prices are similar to other restaurants in the area

I love this place. Food is delicious and fair prices. Last time i went, the waiter was a bit rude, but in general, service is pretty good.... maybe it was just a bad day for him. I absolutely recommend the crepes. Chapatas are good too. Buffet is good enough, nothing special but thank God it includes desserts.
