ASK FOR THE LOCAL MENU Me and my best friend were visiting in vacation. When we first sat, we were handed a different menu than the locals sitting next to us. It was a VERY LIMITED menu and prices seemed a little high. We asked the local couple sitting beside us what they were eating because it looked really good. They said "our food isn't on your menu, they have you the tourist menu" and they told us to ask for the "breakfast menu". The waiter brought us two other menus! I ordered the chiliquillas with the green sauce and the lime soup...... every single bit of it was amazing!!! Whatever my best friend ordered, she loved it too! The service was great, the restrooms were clean and the food was very, very good! I'm glad the couple beside us told us about the other menu because with the options on the "tourist menu", we were about to walk out and go eat somewhere else. We didn't see any other tourist in her while eating, but it was early. Although I didn't appreciate them giving us a different menu, I would definitely eat her again because the chiliquillas were so good!!!!

I got the steak shrimp when I was here but we ordered multiple dishes/ appetizers. Everything was delicious; the best food we had on the trip. The yard/garden was also beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Atmosphere of this place is absolutely the highlight!! What a cool experience! The service was good and attentive. We got the made-fresh at your table guacamole which was okay. My wife got the Coconut Shrimp which presentation was astonishing, but overall was good, but not as amazing as it looks. I got the surf and turf, and it was pretty good. Our favorite parts were the atmosphere and the Trio serenading us at the table. The food was good, but way overpriced in our opinions compared to our other meals and experiences on Cozumel. We'd go back, but our expectations and selections to eat would probably be different. :)

Delicious authentic Mexican food. We took a taxi from the cruise port that drop us off right in front. It was about a $8 taxi ride that took about 10min. Otherwise its a 30min walk from the port. Inside the restaurant felt very safe and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. This place is a Cozumel destination all in itself. Highly recommend checking it out.

Great place! One of the best restaurants I’ve visited in Cozumel and found it on accident. It has tons of good reviews on Trip Advisor though. I gave it 4 stars only because I expected the fajitas to come out on a sizzling plate (it wasn’t) and the service was a little slow. Overall a great atmosphere and delicious food, and since the meal came with free chips and salsa and a free soup the price is very reasonable.

Honest review — we came here for the table side Caesar Salad and onion soup and it did not disappoint !! Food: was spectacular — the table side salad was such a unique experience. If you do not know, Caesar salad originates from Mexico and this is the proper way to make it. There was also table side guacamole and pico de Gallo. Such a special experience and you also get to learn the proper way at the same time. It was really great being able to eat this dish and compare to other dressings we have had in the past and how much people and bottled companies have altered this amazing salad dressing. The salads are on the smaller side if you’re planning if for a meal. Being a vegetarian it was small — three pieces of lettuce. Atmosphere: Really beautiful, make sure to take a few minutes and walk around the property. There is a ton of history for this location. Worth having a look. Service: On point. All the servers were amazing and seemed to work together very well. Not really sure we had a designated server as all the staff were hands on and taking care of everyone. Really great to see and excellent team work. Cost: reasonable 10/10 would recommend

Best Mexican restaurant we have ever been to. Amazing service, ambiance, live music, and best of all the food (and it was sizzling or hot as it should be - was a bit worried after reading the other reviews). Had there Mexican plate, fajitas, and a grilled chicken dish. The Mexican plate features a mix of it all - as suggested and all of it was absolutely delicious. Cadillac Margaritas were delicious and made with don julio and grand mariner for something like $10 usd each. Entire bill for three was $120 usd. Kinda expensive, but actually not for Cozumel - like reasonable given the quality. Highly, highly recommend.

Excellent food and service! We had 2 of the lunch specials ($119 pesos - $6US) of Chile Relleno and grilled chicken), which came with soup, tortillas, and desert (coconut ice cream). All delicious!

Our favorite dining experience in Cozumel! Food and drinks are delicious. Loved the atmosphere and live mariachi music. We ordered garlic shrimp and a seafood platter. It was all perfectly cooked and so flavorful! Service was excellent. We will definitely be back if we return to Cozumel.

We did the Tequila tasting. Alejandro did such a good job explaining the tequila making process and making it a fun experience. All of the tequila was wonderful! The grounds are also beautiful. Great stop when visiting the area.

What a beautiful place, it is like moving to another time. The food was good, the service was excellent, the atmosphere is magical. I recommend to try the tortilla soup, but be careful with the sauce is soo good you want more, but is hot, deliciously good. And don’t forget to tip, the bill sends you to heaven when you are generous

Casa mission is located in beautiful grounds with the most beautiful tropical plants. The service was Great penalty of waiters everywhere. The chips and guacamole and pico de gallo was made fresh next to the table. The Caesar salad was also made table side. They have three men that play in a band. And ask you for a request and they play the song at your table. Which was absolutely fantastic! The food the atmosphere everything was top notch! I highly recommend anybody to eat here.

Just visited in November 2023 and it was fantastic! Restaurant has really beautiful lush tropical grounds, so it's a beautiful environment. A little off the main strip, we got steered here by our cabbie, otherwise we never would have found it, but glad we did. (was like a 12 dollar cab ride from the cruise port) Food was very solid. We especially loved a fondue with chorizo appetizer, comes out boiling in its own little mini-frying pan, it was incredible, can't recommend it enough! I got some reasonably priced beef fajitas, forgot what my wife got, but everything was great. They bring out soup with the meal too, so we ended up with more food than we could handle, but it was all great. My wife is gluten free and the staff did seem to be a little clueless about that, but were willing to work with her, definitely no attitude about it, just didn't understand you don't want certain things touching. Overall great experience.

Great ambient , very nice lawn and landscaping and several water fountains right on the Main Street. Food was okay , it got a bit cold as there were having a wedding at the main place and the crew had to haul our food from the distance. Fajitas and shish kabob was cook to our request and fresh . “Sexy coffee “ looks amazing if someone can accommodate the rum and alcohol with coffee. I was witness the great wire works of making the “sexy coffee “ great talent , must watch. Orchata and Pinacolda was okay but not that great. Complimentary Lime soup was also a treat. Ample food quantity. They could improve on refilling drinks / water without having to ask for. Overall service was good but missing a Woow factor as there were many servers but had a wait for folks to request something. My daughter liked their vanilla ice cream too. We will be back. It is located near Cozumel airport.

The food here was delicious. I ordered way too much food, and--thankfully--the waiter or the kitchen forgot about the queso fundido I had wanted because I had plenty and needed a to-go box. I ordered the chorizo queso fundido (which didn't arrive) and the coconut shrimp. They brought out pico de gallo and chips, a habañero salsa, and garlic bread (which I'm just now realizing might have been to accompany the queso). All of that was scrumptious. The coconut shrimp was divine and a massive portion. It came with a lime and coconut sauce in a halved coconut. I placed an order to-go for my friend and walked around the garden, which was GORGEOUS. The to-go food was wrapped well, and they put a frozen bottle of water in the bag to keep the food fresh. This is the only complaint I had about the entire time I spent there: I got a Bloody Mary, extra spicy. It tasted like tomato juice and some hot sauce, which isn't a "Bloody Mary" to me; it's vodka with tomato juice. This is a must-see and must-eat for me. If I ever get the opportunity to go back to Cozumel, I will make it a priority to make it back to Casa Mission.

The atmosphere was amazing, but it doesn't have climate control, so go with caution if it's hot. They do have a lot of fans, but the night we went it was quite hot and humid and a little uncomfortable. The food and service was decent. We had a group of 9 and everyone said their food was good, but a little high priced for what we got. The service was good, and the grounds and establishment were clean. It absolutely has great atmosphere, and if it had AC, it would be perfect. I think this is a great place to stop and visit for a decent meal with a great romantic atmosphere.

Authentically Mexican! There is lovely gardens that surround this restaurant. I had their Tortilla soup and it was delicious. Hubby had a Caesar Salad with chicken which they prepared for him right at our table. Of course, we had Flan for dessert....we never miss an opportunity to have Flan. Every place makes it/serves it a little bit different. Everything there was pleasant....the food, staff and atmosphere. We very much enjoyed it.

We went here on a suggestion from one of the crew on the cruise ship we were on. It's a cab ride away or about a 30 minute walk from the main port area. Very nice location to get lunch as it is very relaxing and the grounds are very beautiful. Lunch was delicious and we had the Tampico style beef platter and Mexican sampler. The meals came with chips and the pico de gallo, toasted bread and soup. With 4 cokes and a tip it came to about $50. We also took a tequila tasting that is right on those grounds as well and is worth at least going over to experience it as the tour was free.

Lovely experience at this beautiful garden restaurant. We enjoyed the excellent service and 3 musicians serenading us at our table and the other guests as well. My husband had the Caesar salad which was made right at the table. I had the seafood plate (mahi mahi, lobster tail and shrimp) all were delicious. My husband had the surf and turf and was equally satisfied. It was a great dining experience. Would definitely go back.

A must visit each time we visit Cozumel. The music and food makes a very enjoyable fun time with friends and family. The gardens are gorgeous and manicured daily. I highly recommend several visits each time you visit the beautiful island.

Beautiful garden and atmosphere. The ceviche was the best I had on the island and the free pre-entree soup was delicious. I had the Mexican platter and thoroughly enjoyed it as a sampler of Mexican classics. I wouldn't say the entree was the best of the classics but 5 stars since everything else was so good and the place is beautiful to go to and walk around.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends on a port day after having been tipped off by a local as to the great atmosphere and food. Since we spent much time engaged in conversation and catching up, we were very pleased with their patience and attention. The food was indeed excellent, and we will certainly return.

The highlight for me was the tortilla soup that was served before the entrees arrived. It was by far the best tasting part of dinner. The food was fine overall. I wouldn't visit with the expectation that this restaurant is pushing itself. They are serving food that is well cooked and traditional. I felt that I had been served a good amount of food and I didn't leave hungry. The service was a little disjointed and we had 2 different servers during a slow dinner service. The grounds the restaurant is on are very beautiful. There is a ton of vegetation and fountains throughout to look at while you dine.

This place looks like a movie scene with its lovely garden and its colonial style building. We found it via Google reviews and thought we will give it a chance. Honestly the food was average compared to what we expected from its high rating and number of reviews. Tried the lime soup(this is actually a chicken soup with a hint of lime!), the mexican plate(80% chicken based with enchiladas, fajitas and tamales) and the asparagus soup. There is a cool mariachi band singing old latin tunes (kind of like Buena Vista Social Club) which is quite cool. For this one the atmosphere was much better than the food…
