Let me first say that this place was hard to find! There is no discernible signage anywhere (other than a tiny neon sign right at the entrance, which we didn’t see until we were 3 ft away). Nevertheless, I am so glad we didn’t give up and finally found it! My husband and I stopped in for a couple of quick drinks before returning to PDC on the ferry. The bartender was very friendly and chatted with us while making our cocktails. The drinks here are top notch! High quality ingredients/liquors at VERY reasonable prices. This was also the only place we went to in Mexico that offered us complimentary drinking water! We were sad that we couldn’t stay longer… Agave will definitely be on our list the next time we’re in Cozumel!

This is an absolute gem of a cocktail bar in beautiful downtown Cozumel! Our bartender Aledia was very hospitable and kind, the cocktails were well crafted and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the Pechuga Mezcals and The Paloma #2!

Can I add 1 more star for the bartender please!! Yummy drinks, we tried all the signature drinks. If you have to choose 2 I’d say “La Bruja” and “Pirata Morales” to it off with “ ride to Mexico”. The bartender explained all the liquors, their stories, region etc and is very sweet. She made me a regular martini with Tromba which was delicious. Music was great once the dj showed up. Food: won’t comment a whole lot, we tried vegetarian kebabs, the basket looked beautiful and they tasted fine. All in all a night well spent and both of us were happily drunk. 🙂 money well spent!!

My girl really liked her drink. The woman worked was super friendly and kept bringing us water. She ordered La Bruja. Was cute. It was in a couldron and came with a bubble on top you blew out.

Cocktails were thoughtful, unique and delicious, and service and ambiance were amazing. We visited in August 2020 and COVID-19 precautions were followed (hand sanitizer, masks, wiping down bar and seats before use). Highly recommend.

This bar was incredible. I love good craft cocktails and have patronized many cocktail bars and this was one of the best I have ever visited. We tried three of their four signature cocktails and all of them were incredible! The bartender was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about all the liquor they had to offer. I also had the 'ride to Mexico' flight and it was an incredible experience. Each one came with a detailed description of the liquor, including how it is made and its history, as well as a small food pairing. The bartender was then able to expertly answer any questions I had. If you like any of the liquors you can then buy some bottles from them that would be a challenge to find elsewhere (though one of the ones I wanted was unavailable). It was truly an incredible experience and I am glad that places like this are showing people what craft cocktails can really be.

Stopped in for a drink and the cocktails were amazing. Ordered a tequila flight and received a detailed description of the craft tequilas, all of which were amazing. We decided to stay for dinner, which was a wise choice. The tacos were amazing and the Cuban I sandwich was also very good.

Must go! Although the bar was hard to find on Google Maps. You will find it if you look for Fat Tuesday and Cocomama Tikiroom and it’s right there! The cocktails are the best in town for sure. Very good quality liquor and ingredients! And the atmosphere is fantastic also. We loved it so much we went there twice. Had a fantastic mezcal sampler that Maria (the owner) took the time to explain to us, and many other cocktails :). The Cuban sandwich from upstairs was delicious!

Alidya is an outstanding host and bartender. I ordered the flight of 5 mezcal sampler and she spent the next 30min enthusiastically explaining where it all comes from, how it’s made, and the significance to Mexican culture. If you have an excuse to visit this intimate bar (capacity 8 persons) you will not be disappointed! My wife and I had to return on our trip because the drinks and service were so excellent!

We went to Salsa and Salsa here. We had so much fun, I would recommend as an excursion or something fun to do if you are visiting.

We loved it here. Popped in for a drink before our excursion arrived and so glad we did. Our waiter was awesome and friendly. Cool atmosphere and great drinks.

Best craft cocktails on Cozumel! Creative and tasty (and normal-sized, compared to most places around). You can order in food from the restaurant upstairs.

A nice bar in the square that has excellent drinks. I also loved how the hostess shared the history of the different drinks, as well. A very nice experience and it is definitely a place I will go to everytime I'm in Cozumel.

Over priced and underwhelming. Definitely a thumbs down from me. I will say this though, if you just wanted to grab a couple of drinks($$) and sit outside upstairs to check out the surroundings this is a good place for that.

I’d imagine that few of the passengers on the behemoth ships that dock each day will appreciate the time and effort that went into creating the decor, drink recipes and menu; Let alone the artistic flair that goes into each presentation. There are a sea of small and large restaurants in town that serve the standard taco fare to the masses. Agave isn’t one of those places. It has a limited menu, but each item is something you’ve never had before. The cocktails are individually designed- not just with their ingredients, but their presentation as well. The location couldn’t be more central for enjoying al fresco dining while people watching.
