Perhaps I have a miss understanding of what all inclusive actually means. Room service is not included! Pool, hot tub, and beach access are only open 9am-9pm. Front desk says this is due to cleaning however during my stay the pool was cautioned taped off during a shock treatment only 1 night. I was personally told to leave the outdoor jacuzzi and the beach area on multiple nights with no maintenance or pool service employees anywhere. Being a dive master; I do not need a life guard and this resort has no life guards on staff at any time day or night. This was an empty resort with nightly staff party's lasting until after 3am at pool side. Buffet on every occasion was mediocre at best. Restaurants where both 4 star with great service but only open for dinner 2 nights out of my 4 night stay. Bar tenders are excellent however not always open or available. Biggest problem being pool and beach area closing so early. Taking a swim at 10pm is not an option here. Also, only domestic drinks are included in the all inclusive package. To do again; I would not choose this resort, however If staying at this resort i would certainly not do all inclusive. Wasteful!

Surprised my mother with a destination unknown trip for her 60th birthday and we stayed here. I picked this hotel based off reviews and I was kind of disappointed to be honest. The positives were the staff is very nice and the pool is beautiful. The hotel also has daily activities for the pool and other stuff. On the other side this hotel needs a remodel when it comes to the rooms. The whole layout is outdated. The first room we got we stayed there one night because there was noise coming from the next unit like we were sleeping next to a laundry mat. And this noise continued all night. We changed rooms and got a better room however similar to the first the tv is literally 33 inches. The beds are very hard. For the price I paid for a balcony room I could barely see the pool due to the big🌴 and this was an issue in both rooms. The corner bathroom is small and my mother who is 6 feet said she felt closed in. Also speaking with other guest the hotel use to be amazing but has decreased over the years. Also when I was here it felt like a retirement home. So many senior citizens were staying there and boast about coming all the time. Not a big deal if that’s what you want but for a girl who likes to party with her mother.. to say the least she said it was like a nursing home 🤣. Also, my friends I met there rented a jeep from the hotel and it broke down on them. So if you stay here definitely don’t rent a vehicle. To sum it up.. for the money I paid which was close to 900 for 3 nights I say stay at another establishment.

We have stayed at many resorts on the island but this is our favorite. The location on the ocean that offers great snorkeling and swimming. The pool is the biggest and best on the island. Such a good variety of food to choose from. So nice to eat breakfast while watching the boats go by. The staff is friendly and helpful. The resort is a close walk to everything downtown. Look forward to returning soon.

Hotel Cozumel is great for divers and non-divers too! The location is super convenient and the rooms are basic, but spacious. There are lots of places to hang scuba gear on the patio outside each room. The staff here is the hotel's secret weapon. They are amazing, kind and attentive! Silvia and Manuel took care of us and treated us like family. The buffet food is mediocre, but the theme dinners are the way to go! You'll have to make reservations, but it's definitely worth it! And don't miss Caribbean night on the beach!

First of all I want to thank to the hotel and ALL the people that work there. They were amazing!! We absolutely LOVED our staying there. Special thanks to Janet, Karla, Elide and all the girls that work with them answering the phones, that took the time and patience to put up with me and all my questions. I had my wedding in there, YES! my wedding was in that hotel. They met all my expectations and went beyond what I thought it would be. I really recommend this hotel for your wedding. The main reason we picked this hotel is because they were fair with the prices and did not tried to take advantage of us. THANK YOU soooo much to all the staff for making our staying and our special day unforgettable!!!

Run and Run fast. The food here is horrendous. They don't even serve any Mexican food at the buffet. They have 2 restaurants and then a snack area. One of their restaurants is near the ocean. I would say beach but they do not have any sand just concrete and large rocks. but that restaurant is only open for breakfast. They don't even serve dinner at the ocean side restaurant. They also have a bar near the ocean. However, it was not open for a single day during our stay. You have to walk under a tunnel to the other side of the road and go to the pool side bar (not swim up bar because they don't have one). But back to the buffet that is located inside and facing the parking lot/road. I got some cheese stuffed chicken, by the 3rd cut I made I was having a hard time getting through the chicken so I opened it up and it was 100% raw inside. So raw the cheese wasn't even melted. Luckily I didn't eat any because I would of been sick. We also asked the "chefs" what the two types of soup they were serving were. They didn't know, neither of them knew what types of soup it was. How is that possible? Now onto the room, our bathroom smelled of sewer gas, the shower nozzle was pretty much just a nail stuck in the end of the pipe, and I am 5'10 but the shower nozzle only came to my shoulder. The shower basin was cracked as well. We could hear our neighbors crystal clear through our connected door as in we could hear them talking at normal volume. I am 100% sure that they bribed their way to get a 4 star review since they are 2 star at max and they also bribed wyndham to allow them to use their trademark. With all of that bribe money they could of just paid for better chefs and more staff so they could actually staff all their restaurants and bars. The only thing at the entire resort that is semi respectable was the bartender in the main lobby bar. Daniel. Dude served strong drinks and was insanely friendly. You had no view of anything if you sat at that bar but at least you could drink enough to forget you were at the resort. I am convinced that all the people who are giving high reviews are 80 year old couples who are just happy to be in the sun and have someone to talk to. Because 90% of the people at the resort were over 70.

Zero complaints. Great friendly staff. Attentive. Fair. HONEST. The only surprise I had here was how great of an experience they provided. SIXTY SEVEN DOLLARS A NIGHT FOR AN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT?!?!?! I tipped them all we because they earned it. My room was nice, cool, clean, food was excellent. I didnt use their dive shop so I cannot comment there, but i believe they offer uimited tanks for shore diving. Thanks guys. Keep it up. I appreciate you as well as every other guest I met during my 9 night stay. Ill be back.

The rooms are very basic but they are clean and the bed was comfortable. Bring your own washcloths. You can walk into town easily. There is a supermarket 4 blocks away. The beach club was very nice. I loved snorkeling right off the resort. The pool area is really nice, especially when it isn't raining. The food was good most of the time. The service was good. The people were friendly. The tour desk offered some good tours at good prices. The resort is more casual than some others I have stayed at. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

Pros: Friendly staff. Nice pool area. Walking distance from downtown and cruise ship areas. Clean rooms with all the basics. Outstanding food. Reasonable prices. Snorkeling available in ocean directly in front of hotel. Cons: The rooms are dated and worn. This is an older hotel: seems more like a 3-star hotel due to age and condition of furniture in rooms. Signs above toilets warn against flushing tissue. Cannot drink from faucet water, but hotel provides unlimited water dispensers in the hallways. Tip: if the wind is coming from the west, rent a vehicle to visit beaches and restaurants on the east side of the island for more calm ocean experiences. This review is based on a visit in January, 2021, and iMarch, 2022.

When I first arrived at the hotel it didn’t look very nice. Check in was very quick and easy however the room was very old and outdated I was disappointed especially the bathroom tub/shower it was very old and chipped it didn’t drain very well. I honestly didn’t want to stay there but I gave it a chance and I have to say if it wasn’t for the service that we received I would’ve checked out. I was greeted by German when we went to grab a drink he said to give it a chance and he was right we received the best service! Everyone was so friendly and gave the best customer service I was very impressed! Even tho the room was ugly and outdated the housekeeper cleaned it very well daily. The wait team in the restaurant was awesome and the food was just amazing. I can definitely say we will be staying there again next time….hopefully in a more updated room

This is absolutely NOT a 4-star property. It could be, after a $50,000,000 USD "refresh". The layout of the property and the pool are such that it could work, after a massive infusion of money. I'm sure it was nice 30 years ago but unless you have a time machine you should stay elsewhere if you want a 4-star hotel. Seriously what a dump. No blackout curtains. No facecloths. No conditioner or lotion. Two paper thin bath towels and one hand towel. Shower curtain didn't reach the shower enclosure so every shower resulted in a soaking wet bathroom floor. No ice maker in the entire hotel - you have to go to the bar when it's open to get ice. Staff is friendly but incompetent - we were given a room directly across from a wedding reception that was so loud the bed was shaking from the bass and I could hear music through noise canceling headphones. When I went to the desk (where you could also hear the music pumping) at midnight to ask when the noise would end the girl at the desk shrugged and said "maybe 2am?". She seemed confused that I wanted a new room but after much eye rolling I was given a new room, which was quieter. Still pretty dumpy, but at least the walls weren't shaking from party music. Unfortunately I used points to book this dump so no way to get my money back. Even for "free", this wasn't a good deal.

Came here with a group of Scuba divers. This was my first time ever in Mexico and stayed at this hotel. My experience here was amazing. The staff were very nice and helpful. I don’t speak Spanish and all the staff understood me in English. The included food meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious. It was all you can eat. I recommend the cheeseburgers. My hotel room was cozy. I came when it was Mexican Independence Day and the hotel setup a beautiful dinner at the pool with music, entertainment and food all around the pool deck. The best thing that happened to me on this day was I came up and joined in there fun Mexican hat dance competition and I won. Thank you for the bottle of Tequila and massage. I still have yet to open the tequila. I almost forgot to mention that you could also rent Jeep Wranglers here and the one I drove was pretty new. Overall I recommend staying at this hotel. I give it 10 out of 10!!

Perfect stay for the price. It is all-inclusive, meaning you don't have to worry about foods anymore. Of course, don't expect authentic Mexican food; they are all basic buffets, just guaranteeing you will not get hungry. There is an underground bridge to the seashore and restaurant. And the sea is perfect for swimming and doing some snorkeling. The location is perfect; it is near the ferry terminal for the car. Nice.

Came here on a dive trip with a local dive shop (greater Cincinnati) and we stayed here for 7 days. The staff was amazing and helpful and went out of their way to make it great. Daniel the bartender is top-notch has a great personality and makes amazing drinks. Food was all buffet style, but for dinner, they mixed it up well, and never had the same dinner twice. This hotel is across the street from the ocean, but with most rooms being a pool view, I was still not disappointed. The landscaping is well done, no one was crazy loud, and it was just a beautiful setting. And I have to mention the staff again, amazing all around.

Love this hotel, perfect for divers, 2 minute walk from your room to the beach or dive shop, nice rocky beach with a very beautiful reef you can snorkel at, rooms were spacious. Staff were all friendly and helpful when I lost my key lmao , Daniel Chan was an awesome bartender and made sure I was taken care of. Can’t wait to come back here for the 3rd time

Pictures are fake, its says its beachfront, its not, you have to walk across the street… the room was nasty, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days, the bath tub was cracked and old, in serious need of repairs. After using the pool towels we put them in our room. By checkout as our taxi was waiting they made us go up and get it otherwise they would charge extra… Overall would not recommend….

This hotel was absolutely amazing. You are not going to get the crazy Cancun experience but a relaxing calm experience. The staff is great and they are all so nice and helpful. The food is authentic Mexican food and some American food. The drinks are good just ask for what you want to drink and if you don’t like it they will gladly remake it, they have plenty of alcohol in the drinks and local beers on tap. The rooms are regular hotel rooms but if you have an issue with the room the staff will quickly take care of it. Large pool, hot tub, smaller pool entertainment nightly by the pool. The beachside is clean. I felt completely safe at this hotel. You are coming to MX so an appreciation for the culture should be considered and know you are going to get Mexican food for your meals so if you do not like Mexican food then maybe coming to Mexico is not the place for you.

We had a quick getaway to this resort and really enjoyed it. The resort is small and a bit dated, but well laid out and comfortable. Great snorkeling from their beach and loungers to enjoy. We will go back again.

I am currently here and this place is not worth any amount of money. There are 2 restaurants but one of them you have to go across the street for. When one is open the other is closed. They give you drinks made with the cheapest booze and if you ask for something else you are told it will cost more.and dont get me started on the bathrooms. I've never been to any hotel that tell you not to flush toilet paper. I just took a shower and soap bubbles came up through a grate in the bathroom floor. I will never stay here again and I hope if you read this review you will believe me. I dont usually write reviews

Amazing service. Convenient location. They are constantly cleaning every surface (floors, windows, even the ceilings). It's just that the WiFi connection was terrible in the hotel room and some lounge areas for 2 out of 3 days. Def recommend renting a scooter for $40/day to explore the island. The front desk personnel gave a great recommendation for a dinner restaurant. Thanks!!

Let me start with the pros: great service. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The only food that is made by order is the snack bar by the pool which is pretty good. For being such a small hotel, they have a great activity itinerary which spans the whole day and rotates. It is very close to things to do, about a 15 minute walk to downtown and 15 the opposite direction to plenty of beach views and beach bars. But the star of the show is the snorkeling off of the back of the resort on the oceanside. It is free to do so and there are SO many fish. I've snorkled all over MX and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount and variety. We spent nearly a whole day doing this because there was so much to see! This alone earns an extra star. The cons: the buffet food was not great. I'm someone who will almost eat or try anything but I was struggling to find anything that looked appetizing on the buffets most days. Breakfast was better, but the rest was hit and miss. The rooms are very dated and while clean don't look maintained at all. By the end of each day the pool was flat out disgusting, I'm not sure if the filters were bad or what but there would be clumps of bugs and human hair just floating around all over the pool. Like so much so that you would literally be wading through it. The mornings were better but I'd avoid the pool at all costs after lunch due to the yuckiness. The pool was also very dated and not well maintained, tiles were coming loose and falling out as people were in it, which to me is a cutting hazard. They need to drain the pool for a few days and do some serious rehab on it because it's probably one of the worst I've ever been in or seen in MX. Also something, not all rooms have a mini fridge. For someone like me who has refrigerated medicine that I had to bring with me this made things difficult and I had to dose early so my medication wouldn't go bad.

Decent hotel, although needs a refresh. Staff are amazing. Good location in Cozumel. Horrible wifi. Probably the worst I’ve encountered travelling all over the world.

Old hotel that needs work. Best thing about room was the split ac unit. Beds are hard. Shower sprays water everywhere and toilet clogged. Very sparse and noisy. Staff is great. If you dive, great location and to even snorkel. Food standard.

It was GREAT Mr. Christian Fraz the group manager did a wonderful job, and should be commended for the great job he did. He went out of his way to be sure we were taken care of, and everything went very smoothly. The front desk people were very friendly, helpful, and ready to serve. The accommodations were very clean, and ready for our group when we arrived. 5 stars for the Hotel Cozumel, Senior Christian Fraz, and his staff.

Pool and service was great, the rooms were nice and clean. Wait staff was super. The thing that sucked was the hot tub was not working the whole week. I had knee surgery and needed it for recovery...

Great hotel when your mission is to dive, dive, dive. My group had an all inclusive package. The service what I would expect for the investment. Fast WiFi! A few steps to the dock for dive boat pickup. I would definitely stay here again if my primary objective is diving, location, affordability and reliable WiFi🕹️

The good: 1. The reef wall that runs along much of that side of the island forms a swimming pool in front of the hotel. They've put a small concrete wall across the ocean opening just under the water enough to swim over into the reef area beyond. Fish come in and out too so it's fun even if you go no further. Nonswimmers will want to wear flotation here as it's still the ocean and moves with the ocean outside the wall. For small children there is a different shallow pool that has wave-blocking walls that have pipes in them to admit small fish in and out. 2. The spa: I received the best massage I've ever had from Nancy. More than worth the money. They use DoTerra oils too, which I love. 3. The service. Everyone is so helpful, although not everyone speaks the best English. The okay: The hotel. It's old and could use some tlc. Our room was clean, and I liked that there were so many places to hang things to dry. Tip: when you first get in, turn your ac controller to 18 degrees centigrade or you'll be hot. The bad: I am not a picky eater but I found only some of the food to be edible. We observed one lady who refused to eat it at all and a teenager whose whole dinner consisted of saltine crackers. We had to watch carefully which meat we chose as a lot was overdone, underdone or gristly. We were occasionally surprised when something was good. Tips: omelet for breakfast. Some of the fruit and salad items were fresh. The dressings were good, if thin, and my husband enjoyed the salsa. Most of the potato dishes were good. The desserts were disappointing. My favorites were the vanilla cake and the Pecan pie. Also, you can always eat out 😉 All in all, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The clear water and beautiful fish are worth it.

Updating review… I had MONEY STOLEN from my toiletries bag. Reported it to Wyndham and they stated that the manager of this particular location where I stayed would contact me…NO REPLY! $400 gone! Hide your valuables if you decide to stay here. 👎🏽

Pretty good breakfast but you're gonna wanna go out to eat for lunch and dinner. They don't have microwaves or refrigerators in the room, which really sucks when you want a late night scuba snack. It is walkable to a grocery store that opens at 7 am so it's fairly easy to stock up on some nonperishables and you can buy liquor and beer at 9 am. There's a decent spot to jump in the water and do some scuba diving. But, if you're coming to Cozumel, I'd advise staying closer to the ferry, there's just so much more to do that way.

The rooms are large, but they show a lot of signs of age. We've been coming to this hotel for years, and it gets worse every time. In reach room we've been, all six drawers of the dresser are broken so I hurt my back reach time. We have given up and leave them partially open so we can reach out belongings without attempting to open and close them. This time the bathtub was so scratched up, with pieces of the surface that had peeled off. Same with the tiles, walking barefoot we injured our toes a couple of times. Our maid this year was wonderful though, which made us feel better about the room. She kept it immaculate, and gave us washcloths when we requested them. We always take the all inclusive formula for convenience, bit it is mediocre cafeteria food. We know what to expect, so that's ok. They have delicious fresh cut fruit. Most of the servers are super nice. Most of them will forget your order though( you have to order your beverages from a server, even water). The pool is shallow but very large and beautiful, with a lot of lounge chairs around it: a nice place to hang out with a good book. There's a tiny library on the first floor ( second floor for Americans) which we enjoy a lot for book exchanges. It's a 20 minutes walk to the main square in town, and only 10 minutes to the two supermarkets. The main reason we come back is the drive shop on the beach side of the property. So convenient! Their staff are very nice and helpful.

The Hotel Cozumel is a great value property that offers enjoyable experiences for all. The variety of packages offered allows travelers to customize their experience to what they best enjoy. Overall a great property and Brunson recommended

I was in Cozumel with a dive group and we all stayed here. It was my first time staying at an All Inclusive and I was happy with everything. Some of the others in the group felt there wasn't a lot of variety to the food. I felt they did a nice job. Location is great.

We enjoyed our recent stay here! All-inclusive really meant ALL INCLUSIVE. The food we ate and the never-ending cocktails would have cost more than the nightly fee if paid for separately. Well worth it if you want to eat on property. Our budget still left room to visit a few local places for lunch and dinner. The swimming pool is huge and there is beach access with an area to snorkel. Evening activities like volleyball in the pool (every day at 4 pm), pool-side ping pong, movies, and stage shows give it an old-fashioned resort feel. Our room was very clean and always smelled great. The bathroom was a little worn but always clean and I never saw a bug. Overall, we were very happy staying here.

This hotel is perfect for diving. The dive center and boat pick up are right at the pier. We had a refresher course with Oscar and 6 dives with Sergio and Jorge. The water was crystal clear and dive masters made sure we saw plenty of wild life. The food and drinks were buffet style, what you'd expect at an all inclusive resort. There were also special a la carte dinners with limited availability - you just need to reserve them in advance with a hotel concierge. They were awesome and should not be missed. Hotel staff took excellent care of us. We will gladly come back to Cozumel for diving and after dive relaxation by a beautiful pool. 🌴 🌞 🌊

We came from another resort, Grand Park Royal. This place was horrible. People are rude, the rooms are old, a/c wouldn’t cool, bathtub wouldn’t drain. Our flight wasn’t until 2 and they wouldn’t let us eat lunch at 12 because we had to ck out which was ridiculous. Never been to a hotel that doesn’t let you stay the extra hour before going to the airport. The only nice thing was the pool! If you want the better liquor they charge. Which at the other resort it was included. This place is a joke. Won’t be going back.

  • 2/5 Megan S. 9 months ago on Google
I am going to need a refund on at least one night each of the rooms. The rooms were dirty and very poorly maintained. I asked for more towels 3 times before anyone actually delivered. Food buffet cost was over $20 per person and that was the child cost. I ordered vegetarian nachos for another meal and was served beef and was told too bad. Service is hit or miss, some rude some very nice. Disappointing this trip. I have stayed here previously and it was better the first time. Also problems with door being jammed and every surface is sticky. And lastly the price I booked the rooms at was NOT honored and they said they had to charge me more.

Stayed here for a week, have been to Cozumel many times. Chose this resort for it's location. Walking distance to town, has a private beach front area, a fitness gym to get the job done and a great size pool. If you are looking to go to an all inclusive resort to just lounge, drink and eat for 7 days, this may not be what you are looking for. I would suggest an resort out of town that sits on a beach front and is designed to be just that. If you are looking for a place to call home for the week while you travel and enjoy what Cozumel has to offer in and around the island- this is the place to stay. The meals are sustainable, the drinks are included and the rooms are clean with beds and showers. Take advantage of the location, try local restaurants, walk into town daily, and hit up the grocery stores for the baked goods. Staff was helpful, and we enjoyed our stay as we came here with realistic expectations of the hotel and resort. We will be back!

Overall this is an average place to stay on the island. The rooms are pretty good with really comfortable beds and a nice balcony. The pool area is nice and relaxing and you can get drinks from their pool bar and snacks from their poolside grill/snack bar. On the whole, the food is very average. The breakfast place overlooks the water and has basic continental breakfast items available. The dinner buffet in the main hotel was disappointing. The options available to choose from were few, and the flavor in the food was bland. After our first night there we decided to eat dinner in the city each night because the buffet dinner just wasn't tasty. If you're looking to stay on the resort property the whole time you vacation, you'll probably be disappointed with this all inclusive experience. If you're just looking for an average room while you're out doing other things, it's probably just fine. Our experience was not a negative one, but we will choose a different place to stay next time.

The food was fabulous during our week stay. Great variety & the staff is most accommodating. The pool area is the best with lots of loungers and a great snack bar & separate beverage bar 🍹 The hotel is semi-ocean front with a tunnel under the road to the beach side. Great views, lovely place to have breakfast & lunch watching the boats, snorkelers & divers. The shoreline is rocky with a retaining wall, but there is easy access to the water. There are comfortable chairs in the sandy area to just relax. With a convenient bar 🍹 We also easily walked to the downtown core, which was nice. We rented a scooter in the lobby, it was convenient and competitively priced. It was great fun to explore both sides of the Island, I enjoyed the East side the most with the mangroves, surf beaches and quiet coves. Fabulous experience, we would definately come back. If you want to lounge on a big beach, or walk along the beach and play in the ocean, then this may not be the best choice for you.

I could not recommend this place more! For my first vacation, this resort and the staff exceeded my expectations. The rooms were perfect for our needs. A/C was great (and you can control it yourself). The housekeeping does a good job cleaning the rooms everyday. Only suggestion would be to add exhausts fans in the bathroom. The food was great! I am a very picky eater, however I always found delicious and fresh food at all meals. This is a great spot for divers and snorkelling, very accessible. Drinks are HEAVILY poured! good selection. I would like to give a special thank you to Daniel, the bartender at the lobby bar. He always made sure you have what you needed. Very nice guy. Last but not least, Miguel is an absolute sweetheart. He is amazing at his job and served us during our romantic dinner (which I highly recommend to any couples). A bonus, he’s a great photographer as he photographed my proposal before our dinner.

Upon check in I asked for a suitcase stand and drinking glasses. Was told they would be brought up. After several hours elapsed I needed to go to the desk in person. Day 2: shower drain TOTALLY clogged. Day 3: toilet TOTALLY clogged. Days 3-4: virtually all drinking water jugs were dry in the morning and remained dry after I got back from diving. I had to complain at the desk to get bottled water and to demand action. This was my 3rd stay there. It is very poorly managed. No drinking water, non-functional plumbing, and an inept uncaring operations manager. So poor!!!

Stayed here while doing an Ironman 70.3 in Cozumel. Room was a little dated but not bad. Staff was friendly. Location was convenient relatively to where I needed to be related to race events. It's walking distance from downtown. Food was OK but I wish there was more verity. I was there for 6 days

The rooms where clean and roomy. They offer cleaning services everyday. They have affordable laundry service if needed. The pool is hugh and well maintained. The bar service was excellent. A lovely breakfast buffet is offered every morning including an omelet station. You can have lunch poolside. I'm definitely going back. Most important they are located in a great stop. Close to everything.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and as always, my expectations are met or exceeded. My trip 8/20/2022 - 8/27/2022 was no different. The food is great and the staff is amazing from check in to check out. Keira and team at the pool work extremely hard to keep the food and drinks coming to you. I’ll see you all next year!

You get what you pay for at this place. In a nutshell, it's cheap. The hotel is very run down and old. The pictures on the web are extremely outdated and not accurate. The rooms are spartan and lack adequate furnishings for an extended stay resort. No chairs, no chests, no refrigerator and the shower only spits at you. The buffet food is almost inedible. What should be cold is hot and what should be hot is cold. We have had diarrhea every day since we got here if that tells you anything. There is no beach, only some sand with chairs. You can, however, snorkel and dive from the sandy area. The pool is huge but only 4 feet deep and is not well maintained. It is lined at the bottom with small tiles with many tiles missing and leaving sharp edges. I don't know where the people come from that gives the place good reviews as I cannot find anything good except the wait staff.
