Awesome sight seeing. Had the first rock my food festival one night. Tons of food vendors and shops. I went at least once a day when in Cozumel. It get shoulder to shoulder when the cruise ships arrive.

Benito Juarez park is the first spot you will find coming out from the ferry if you are coming from playa Del Carmen. It’s a small nice park, there are lots of street food vendors all around it. During day time you will find refreshing drinks all around and during night time, there are different kinds of interesting typical street food stands, like steam corn 🌽, marquesitas, tacos 🌮 etc…

Beautiful place to shop or just look around. People are friendly and not overly obnoxious with the selling of their products. Kids are there trying to sell flowers and such. Beautiful people. You see the locals sitting and people watching. Culture is rich here. Our tour guide was amazing about explaining things. Beautiful place

Loved it! Great staff, the pool and hot tub were beautiful, the food was fantastic and the cleaning and maintenance staff really did a great job looking after the resort. My only thing is that it would have been great to have chairs and a table on our deck, and there were none. Pretty small issue. We will definitely be going back!

Large très proche shade. A statue of goddess Itzel had been added, with an explanatory sign about her importance in Mayan culture. Local familles come here and bit snacks from the vendors who sell years from their carts. All around the plaza there are tourist souvenir shops.

This is one of the central meet-up points for locals to enjoy a stroll, afternoon drink or dog walk. There are plenty of street vendors, making walking a bit of a challenge. Occasionally, cyclist, cargo trycicles and motorcycles share the walkways with pedestrias, so watch out. This is one of the few green public areas and is lined up by plenty of restaurants and bars. There are nearby ATMs and convenience stores. On occasion you may be offered drugs too. There is limited free parking and paid parking behind the Plaza del Sol building. The central fountain is out of order, which is a shame. Otherwise, a nice place to spend the afternoon.

This place captures the essence of what you expect to find in a place like Cozumel. The traditional small Mexican town atmosphere and the majestic view of the Golf of Mexico. You can find very good restaurants surrounding the park and, of course, plenty of souvenir shops.

A beautiful island, loved the food and local beer. An atv or golf cart rental is probably the best way out of the immediate tourist area!

Great spot with green areas and shades where you can have a break from walking in the heat!

This is a great meet up spot, also went for children’s day to watch the school band March around. Was super fun watching the kiddos play. Also got some items from the vendors

Wide park in town. Surrounded by cafes and resto. And you can found free wifi in the park.

We loved this area when we were staying in Cozumel. It was pretty fun to explore at night when the heat had died down but there were always still stands open and things going on at the park.

Nice place to visit and rest especially on a hot sunny day. Sit under one of the grand old trees. It's centrally located near Cozumel waterfront. There are restaurants nearby with a view of the park. Observe the Benito Juarez statue. He's a very important Mexico President. There is also a compass marker on the ground that says it is 0 degrees east west north south but am not sure relative to what.

Nice place to walk around and sight see, do not recommend the restaurant that is to the right next to the entrance of a smaller plaza bad food , full with oil and salty fish

Always enjoy my experiences here. I love to go on a Sunday evening's when it's family evening and they usually have a band. The night we went they had a high school orchestra. It was amazing.

Second time in CZM. Love Cozumel. Easy going, lay back, relax atmosphere. If you are trying to avoid the turmoil of rave parties and the craziness of Cancun and be in a real romantic place, Cozumel is the place. Everybody is nice, they take dollars and most of the people speak English or do their best effort.

Benito Juarez Park is a beautiful square with tons of souvenir shops, an incredible clock tower, the iconic “Cozumel” sign, and lots of trees. Gorgeous!

👍👍 I've traveled to over 50 countries and never seen a submarine that will actually take you on a ride. We took our two teens and loved it. It's short but exactly what you need to get the experience. It's one of those things you want to do once in your life. The visibility was good. Lots of fish, reef...

👍👍 This is an easy and enjoyable stroll from the central area. This was a very friendly spot to be welcomed at and the seating all overlooks the sea and also lounge chairs for sunning throughout the day on a nice sandy surface. Also suitable for snorkeling. No entrance fee of any kind and you just pay...
