I spent two weeks here. I am struggling to put into words how unique this place is. It is unlike any other place I have ever stayed. This is a place to go to be welcomed into somebody's home but have your privacy respected (it falls somewhere between a classic Bed-in-Breakfast, Hostel, Retreat Center, and Home).  Some guests are here as part of a yoga retreat and others just booked the room on AirBnB but are welcome to join in on the food or yoga (paying ala cart). This is a great place to go to work on yourself (it is not a place to find a therapist or psychedelics). This is a place welcoming to everybody in all forms of yoga (I was concerned it would be intense gym-rat yoga... it is fun.. tailored and different every day). The center is run by a very loving family. They are very honest and open. The food is plant-based and wonderful. The center is located about 1-2 miles from the heart of town and nice beach clubs and about a 10 min walk to the ocean. Scooters cost ~$20-25/day (I paid $19/day from Darth Rental for 2 weeks earlier in my trip) to rent if that is too far to walk. I would strongly recommend a scooter for at least a day to go explore the other side of the island. I've seen a few different guests come and go. I've even seen one set of grumpy folks arrive not sure about the logistics of their accommodations (like they were expecting a bellman to greet them and take their bags). I wanted to chase them away.. this is not the kind of place for them. YOU ARE KILLING MY BUZZ MAN!!  All the other travelers I've met here are here to stay in a natural part of Cozumel and/or do some personal self-development. We talk over dinner about our adventures for the day and what we have planned... but after a day or two of getting to know each other, we talk more about what they are learning during our travels. I have learned many things over these wonderful dinners with fellow travelers. I can't recommend this place enough for people looking for something a bit different and original. But come with an open mind and heart. I will miss everybody, the family, the dogs, even the wild Coiti that lives upstairs in one of the outbuildings.

I had an amazing, life changing experience at Holistic Tikun. Everyone I met was wonderful and insightful. The vegan food was delicious and wholesome. The site is located a bit away from San Miguel center surrounded by nature, but a 10 minutes drive will get you downtown. This is more than a yoga retreat : come with an open heart and you will be changed for the better. I normally don't make any online reviews and I hesitated a lot about making one simply because I wanted this place to be my little secret. However, I also wanted to encourage the amazing people there, so I hope this honest review will inspire you.

Nati and Daniela have the purest hearts. My girlfriend and I did not want to leave our stay because of how fabulous their company and influence was and is toward us. From their fruitful garden, to their goats and stingless bees, sweat lodge and beautifully designed home, we continued to be inspired moment by moment to learn and support them on their journey to creating sustainable, biodynamic and conscious community.

Thank you Yael and Nati for such a wonderful morning at Holistic Tikun. The yoga was out of this world and felt so restored and grounded after. The massage was no doubt one of the best massages I have received! She did everything perfectly. Lunch was so satisfying, healthy and clean, and inspiring. I loved that Nati picked a dragon fruit for me from the garden...and I ate it as it ripened 3 days later. Thank you all.

This was my first yoga retreat so I had no idea what to expect but I loved every single part of my stay at Tikun. For those wanting to visit Cozumel’s bright turquoise beaches but not feel like they are in the middle of a bustling tourist city, Tikun was the perfect place! Tucked away just off the main road, Tikun manages the rare feat of feeling at once close and far from everything—a sort of tranquil bubble amidst all the development. In addition to its location, there’s a lot to love about Tikun—beautiful gardens, home-cooked meals, perfectly personalized classes— but what made the place so special to me was simply the atmosphere. I loved the morning yoga sessions in the palapa with the sun rising overhead and some of the most beautiful birds singing and enjoying the day alongside us. (The birds at Tikun are amazing, worth a visit alone!). Evening Qi Gong and meditation to help close the day were also a welcome respite and reminder to slow down and savor after spending afternoons exploring the island. Truly, the entire place was just kind of brimming with this positive energy and joy that’s hard to describe with words. I’m so grateful to Yael, Nati, and Daniela for creating such a unique space to reset and renew. While I was at Tikun the family helped arrange everything including bird watching trips, scooter rentals, acupuncture appointments and snorkeling trips. They really put a lot of love into the space and you can feel it when you are there. Also the food was so good!! For anyone worried about eating vegan you will love it, every dinner was incredible and I hope in the future they might even offer cooking classes. I hope to return again but for now am excited to continue some of the new practices I’ve learned while at Tikun.

Thank you Yael for such an experience. I did a yoga session with her one day and the next I did the Mayan traditional sweat room. It was very spiritual the sweat room. If you believe in energy, reiki, or your an empath, this is a must for you. I’m an empath along with other gifts and suffer from anxiety for that reason. I have trouble shutting off all the information I pick up around me that is bad. The yoga session helped me relax and so practice mindfulness….I live such a busy life in the US that I sometimes can’t listen to what my body and spirits guides are trying to communicate. It’s a great experience to help you heal. I truly recommend it. I was staying at a VRbO so I would go and do process during the day and then I’d go home. They have options where you can stay there too.

What a wonderful laid-back island experience. I did a yoga and scuba retreat, my lodgings and all meals were perfectly to my liking, I enjoyed conversations and learning about bees from Neti, and I appreciate his connecting me to Cozudive for my scuba adventures! The smoothie bowls and the vegan dinners were wonderful. I enjoyed the richness of the yoga practice as well as the two massages very very much! Overall I left feeling rejuvenated, just what a retreat is meant to do.

I had a wonderful stay at Tikun. The room was spacious, the food wonderful, and the yoga was splendid. They were able to cater my experience to fit my busy schedule, and made every minute worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I came to Holistic Tikun in Cozumel for a 6 day yoga retreat. As I stepped into Holistic Tikun I was surprised to see the beautiful scenery of edible plants, flowers and more. The environment is truly magical and allow you to truly relax and start your vacation. I woke up every morning and had great morning vinyasa classes with Yael. Following our morning class, an amazing breakfast was provided, with colorful and tasty ingredients from the garden. All food is vegan, and never thought that vegan food can be that nutritious and tasty. Evening yoga classes were adopted to our energy. As I arrived tired from a long day, Yael made for us chill, yin, restorative yoga classes, perfect to finish the day. I will definitely come back and recomend to my people! Thank Holistic tikum retreat center!!

I had a unforgettably beautiful time at Holistik Tikun. Our host, Yael, greeted me with her warm smile and welcoming presence when I first arrived, along with one of the retreat's guardian dogs, Leo, who was eager to greet me as well. During my time here, I was spoiled with some of the best coffee drinks in the area. Yael led us in a beautiful yoga practice in the morning, followed by a scrumptious breakfast. The gorgeously kept gardens within the property produced amazing culinary delights which were integrated into every meal. So after another sweet evening yoga session, one was anticipating the surprise of the sure-to-be-fantastic dinner. In my opinion, the meals Yael prepared daily, as well as the morning & evening yoga classes she led us in, tied for "The Best" in the realms of deliciousness and exquisiteness. Not only were the staff lovely, so were the animals, which were definitely one of the biggest highlights of my stay. Leo and Joy (a gorgeous Husky with one of the biggest coats of fur I have ever seen, as well as the sweetest temperament) are not to be missed and made fun & loving appearances throughout our day. Yael also helped to make arrangements for everything from taxi rides to day trips and made it all look so easy. She truly has one of the kindest spirits around and radiates, happiness and loving-kindness. If you are looking to give yourself or someone you love, the gift of serenity, pampering, self-reflection or adventure, or all of these things, Holistik Tikun makes for an unforgettable experience.

I have now had a few days to process the incredible experience I had at Holistic Tikun, and am happy to give my review of this very special place. I was hoping to take a solo vacation to get more comfortable with solo travel, to incorporate some things that I love (yoga/scuba), and to do something nice for myself. Also, I hoped to find clarity and to feel more connected to myself. I felt drawn to Holistic Tikun, and the experience was everything I hoped it would be and more. Aside from booking the retreat, I did not have to plan much else which was perfect for me. Yoga is held in the mornings and evenings, and the scuba was arranged with a local dive shop (they were amazing). However, there was always flexibility for me to guide my own experience on the island. It was a perfect mix of a scheduled itinerary and freedom to move things around to make the experience my own, which allowed me to relax fully while there. My experience centered around yoga and scuba, but other guests had their own personalized experiences with as little or as much activity as they needed. The meals provided were delicious and healthy - I felt incredibly well cared for by everyone at Holistic Tikun. My trip came with two treatments of my choosing. I received an amazing deep tissue massage from Reina, and an astrological reading session with Gemma which provided some of the clarity and direction I was hoping to find. Also, Holistic Tikun arranged for a guide to lead us in a Mayan sweat lodge ceremony, which was a first for me and was a wonderfully powerful experience - especially on the day on which we did it (New Years!). I was sad to leave Holistic Tikun, but when I got home, I felt like I hadn't left. Thank you Gemma, Yael, Nati, and everyone at Holistic Tikun for helping me come home to myself. There is a wonderful positive energy surrounding Holistic Tikun, and I hope you will go experience it for yourself. Be well :)

A truly amazing and grounding experience! The overall vibe and energy was very positive from the vibrant greenery and vegetation surrounding the property to the calming music played while enjoying delicious vegan meals. Everyone hosting was very kind and welcomed us like family into their home. Something I would recommend to anyone looking for a restorative and rejuvenating get away!

I was recommended this place after looking for an off the beaten tracks in very touristy Cozumel and it was just perfect. I was welcomed by a very dedicated and passionate family, which works hard to make the world more aware of ecology, personal development and healing. The property is a little piece of paradise, taken care of with love.
