This place is a gem, a highlight of our trip. Silvia was very nice and welcoming. The room was spacious with a big comfortable bed, lots of light, and a small fridge with fresh water at our disposal. Everything very clean, the bathroom had a great shower, lots of towels and lots of places to hang our clothes. The common area with the pool was also very well kept and pretty. It was very easy to get around, and we had lots of good recommendations from the hosts that we could check out. The digital guide provided was really helpful during our stay. We will definitely come back!

The best way to describe this place is “extremely high value”. You are getting far more than what you pay for in terms of attention to details in the rooms and the service. It is a private guest house with four rooms (and a pool) so it is a more intimate experience, but feels like something in between a guesthouse and a rare find unique Airbnb. The place is popular for many divers and comes with the highest word of mouth recommendations. Since both owners are also divers, little details like a rinsing tub and hooks outside your room to dry your gear are really appreciated.

I was a solo traveler and Stingray Villa was perfect for what I was looking for! The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, quiet. and safe. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Many great restaurants and shopping areas were in walking distance. It was very enjoyable to explore the town when I wasn't diving. Looking forward to being a guest at the Stingray Villa in the future!

Happy to say I had a fantastic stay at Stingray and would recommend it to anyone thinking of doing the same. Greg and Silvia are fantastic hosts, lots of local knowledge and tips which is shared through a really handy digital guide. Greg was a great host and the app for the hotel was very useful, especially the taxi ordering service from facebook. The pool was nice and the room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay, I'll definitely be back when I'm on the island!

Such a fantastic place to stay. You are in the middle of Cozumel, close to all the action yet Greg & Silvia have created a guesthouse that leaves you feeling like you have found a secret oasis. The pool is great, the coffee machine and the fresh coffee from the mountains is wonderful and a lovely comfortable bed. The guidebook they provide is great, full of local treasures. Highly recommend staying!

We were introduced to this place during the very start of the US pandemic. My husband and I decided last minute to extend our trip by a few days as we knew when we arrived home we'd be put into lockdown in the US. Since then, we've been here approximately a 1/2 dozen times and absolutely LOVE it here ! Quiet one-way street, extremely clean villas that are well kept including a safe for your valuables. Adult-only villas and beautiful property including a pool is perfect for us as a couple. Silvia and Greg are spectacular hosts and almost as soon as we arrive back to the US. we are ready to re-book another trip back here to stay at Stingray ! If you ever need any assistance with local spots to eat, medical care, shopping, etc. Silvia or Greg are great at referrals along with their blog suggestions. If you haven't already stayed here, you'll no doubt be impressed by all the wonderful details and the "feel at home" hospitality they both provide ! Shannon Warstler

This property is the most well thought out experience I've had, with every detail covered. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The property itself is conveniently located and so very nice, including the beautiful pool.Greg and Silvia are informative about the island and provide a very helpful and detailed guide upon confirmation of your booking. Highly recommend. Greg and Silvia were fantastic hosts and place was very cute and clean. The room was bright and airy with high ceilings, had purified water, a mini fridge, delicious coffee, and great A/C. The bed and pillows were comfortable with fitted sheets. The area felt safe to walk around and we were only a few blocks from dozens of shops and restaurants. We would definitely book again, thanks for a wonderful stay!

Don’t hesitate… if your dates are available, book it! We loved being near all of the amazing local restaurants without any street or club noise. It was very quiet and relaxing. We loved spending time in the pool and got bikes from Best Bikes Cozumel for easy travel around town. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the coffee was incredible, and the room was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend staying at Stingray Villa. We stayed 6 nights while diving on Cozumel. The rooms are very nice with all you could need. Beautiful inner pool area which is shielded from the street. Staff very helpful at recommending restaurants, bike rental etc. We used their online guide a lot. Will stay here next time visiting Cozumel.

Absolutely perfect! Beautifully constructed, decorated, and so clean. Everything you need for an incredible price. Easy location to all you want, too! Splendid place to stay! We only had a few days in Cozumel but Greg gave us some wonderful tips on bars and restaurants that we actually revisited a few times. They're a great couple that host purpose built apartments with amenities that are very well thought out. Water jug is already in the fridge for you and ground coffee ready to go. There was considerable thought that went into our stay. I also had a scooter accident that wasn't my fault and they were incredibly supportive throughout the whole ordeal. I don't normally leave reviews but felt that I should this time because they were wicked. Hats off to these guys. Awesome hosting.

This is a great studio apartment with all the basic amenities that you need. Unit was clean, quiet, and walkable to everything in town. Hosts provide a great guide with lots of recommendations and instructions on navigating the island. Great place to book in Cozumel!

We loved stingray villa! The rooms are very clean and the outdoor area has a lovely pool and many beautiful plants. We felt very secure there. It’s in a great location- many restaurants are within walking distance. Also good parking if you have a car. We will stay there again.

Greg and Silvia are very welcoming hosts. Their apartments with the shared pool have everything you need for a great stay in Cozumel. Best of all, they have a digital guidebook that provides you with tons of information and great recommendations (like Mr. Taco or Maple Bakehouse). We would definitely come back. The stay was great! Communication was quick leading up to our arrival and Silvia and Greg were available throughout the visit if we needed anything. The rooms are on the larger size so you can spread your luggage out. Having unlimited fresh water in the room was amazing. The location couldn't be better as well. Close to live music, tons of good food and just a short walk to a main tourist strip with a great little empanada stop along the way! You're also a quick walk from the non-tourist areas and to any grocery or convenience shops. Take a different route back to Stingray every time and see what you can find!

If your staying in town you book lodging to sleep. This location is the most secluded location in the downtown area. It is on a half street that runs one way (away from downtown) so the only traffic is to get to a address on that street or someone is lost. That makes for very limited traffic noise. The villas are located within 12 foot concrete walls that not only limits noise but makes for tight security. The rooms have ceiling fans and a responsive individual AC unit for a cold slumber. Beautiful interior room with windows for cross ventilation if one enjoys tropical fresh air sleeping. Quiet, secure comfort and serene setting all add up to the best location to stay in downtown Cozumel.

We just returned from spending a week at Stingray Villa. We couldn't be more pleased. The unit was well equipped, roomy and very clean and a short walk to the center of town with tons of restaurants and shopping. We loved that there were only 4 units sharing a pool that was just steps away from your door. Also, Greg and Sylvia took extended measures to make sure the property was safe and secure. Speaking of Greg and Sylvia, they were both on site as their home sits on the property. They are very attentive to any needs you may have and are a lot of fun to talk with. Hopefully we can make another trip to Stingray Villa in the near future!

As always Stingray Villas is our favorite place to stay in Cozumel! It’s convenient to just about everything. What keeps us coming back the hospitality of the owners! Sylvia & Greg are amazing! They make you feel like you’ve known them your whole life.

Echoing everything that has already been said about Sting Ray Villa, loved our stay here! Silvia & Greg were great hosts and more importantly the room was nicely furnished, new, and clean! They thought of all of the amenities above and beyond the usual: large jug of bottled water in the room, refrigerator, and my favorite, what you need to brew a pot of coffee every morning. I also appreciated the City Guide they created that recommended the top restaurants in the area. We went to a couple of them and were very happy 😃 We also were able to schedule a last minute diving trip with Diving Luis, partly because of the great relationship they have with Gregg & Silvia. Will definitely be recommending my friends to stay at the Sting Ray Villa if they are ever in Cozumel and will hopefully be back!

Well, there's probably not much more I can really contribute vs all of the other 5 Star Reviews, but I'll try!! This place is truly top notch! The location is ideal, close but not too close. The rooms are incredibly spacious, comfortable, and clean! Loved having the water, pitcher, and fridge in the room! Netflix was an absolute bonus as oddly that was the first thing we did when we checked in, cooled down with a movie! The pool and grounds were private, secure, impeccably clean and well maintained. My wife and I loved the rules of quiet time, being respectful to other guests, and especially 100% the no-smoking!!! Greg & Silvia are simply great!! Silvia has such a great spirit and we absolutely loved the happiness, spunk, and cheer she spread when chatting with her. Greg had some great information to share and I loved having candid conversations with him. Harold did his thing (pool chlorine duck), Jimmy and Rosie (doggies) we definitely enjoyed meeting as well. Take the time to look at their blog and especially the travel guide. The recommendations are truly top notch and you can absolutely see the time & effort that was put into the it, and they really help make your trip more enjoyable. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, and when (not if) we make our trip back to Cozumel, we'll definitely stay with them again if they're not all booked up first. ;)

A great place to stay in a great location. Located within blocks of restaurants, bars, and shops...but far enough to where you don't get caught up in all of the touristy stuff as soon as you leave your accommodation. The rooms are very nice and clean. The property is beautiful and serene. The digital guidebook is worth its weight in gold and more. There was also a printed form of the guidebook in the room. It definitely comes in handy, for both people who are visiting the island for the first time and also for those who have been before. Greg and Silvia are great hosts! Not only for providing great, clean, and beautiful accommodations...but also for the simple things like a cold pitcher of water waiting in the fridge or just having a great conversation in passing. I would definitely recommend Stingray Villa and I would definitely stay here again.
