If you're in a hurry, looking for a takeaway piece of Tuscanian food, this is the place! My sandwich was handmade at the moment in just 3 minutes. Good as hell and cheap as few! Picture proof 😉

3 stars for encouragement. On a busy holiday lunch-time, where nowhere else we could have find seats, they gave us a table. Service was ok, entrée ok, but unfortunately the truffle risotto was not up to its 35euro price. Suggestion, risotto at that price tag cannot taste like par-boiled, truffle should be served at table and not come on top of the risotto from kitchen. Would have appreciated tablecloth and napkins instead of paper-like table dressing. Please remind bartender to cool sparkling wines so that you don’t have to say to clients that the chosen wine is not available because has not been but in the refrigerator.

Food was above average. I highly recommend the fries. They sat us right next to the toilet which as you can imagine wasn’t a great experience. What was upsetting was the fact that they charged us coperto (service charge) even though it wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu or the restaurant (Italian law: Restaurants are not allowed to charge you coperto if it wasn’t mentioned before making the order). It’s not a big deal that they charged, but what was annoying was the fact that the gentleman at the cashier made us feel stupid for asking. That’s my experience, but feel free to try yourself 👍🏻

A great place to chat with friends or to read a book. High quality products with kind staff. It is more expensive than other places in the area, but the ambiance and attention to detail make it worth it. They also have special events, lunches, and aperitivos. They offer free wifi, a book exchange, and assorted board games.

We needed to present a greenpass for a coffee on the terrace at the front. The staff was uninterested. For the very expensive prices they charge you would expect more service and fresh pastery, not dry cookies and half a cup of coffee. I get the feeling they charged us with extra high prices because we are forreigners, living in Touscany.

A lovely spot - spoiled by the most snotty and rude staff. Seemed very annoyed that we were spending money here.

Very not professional behavior just experienced this afternoon. We live in Tuscany and do frequently trips with our mountain bikes. Then, usually we take a break and a Prosecco. In Tuscany the price range for a glass of prosecco at about 2 pm (before "Aperitivo") is between € 2.50 and € 4.40. Here we were quoted for € 12 for 2 glasses of prosecco, which would be ok, if it would have been a super nice brand. But: The bottle of prosecco is € 16 only, which is very ok. The tourist trap is that they quote € 6 per glass for a bottle with a value of € 16. Many German/American tourist just order a glass and are skrewed then. I did as the waitress if it's possible, that a glass would cost € 6. She told me, yes, that's correct, because the serve some Fingerfood for free. My remark was, that we haven't got offered anything was reply by telling me, I should have asked for it. That's just nonsens ana tourist trap. It's a pity, as on the other had the restaurant is nice and should not need to use that kind of tricks. So we decided, not to not ther for dinner. NB: Always ask for the price, before you order.

Staff very kindly made us a meat, cheese, bread etc platter as we were too early for dinner, chef not due to arrive for an hour or so. Very much appreciated as we had just arrived from Australia, a very long trip for those who don’t know, and we’re exhausted but trying not to go to bed far too early. Enjoyed this lovely platter, a couple of glasses of wine, a spritz and beer, not in that order. Would have been five stars but felt while delicious and appreciated the cost was higher than expected for Italy.

I stopped by to grab my family some lunch to go and we liked it so much we went back for dinner. Dinner was amazing with a nice liter of wine, more meatballs…..me and my wife went the seafood route and it was all very lovely. The staff are also great. I recommend!! The only thing I would say is they have a “simple menu” if you just are walking by, but please realize they have a much larger and beautiful menu….very good. Thanks everyone

We were seated next to the toillet,2 families with 4 little kids who were charged for the fork and spoon even though they were fed and they didn’t use them. The food was too expensive for what it tasted and looked! The pasta were average and the chicken filled with some kind of sausage was terrible,I couldn’t eat it.Definitely would not try it again and definitely not recommended!! For that kind of money there are many other restaurants who serve better food

0 stars, not 1 I always read reviews like this and wonder if people are exaggerating, but for the first time I have experienced first hand the most unbelievably rude behaviour by staff in a Cafe. If you want to be cursed in Italian (because the staff assume you don't understand Italian) then this is the place for you! A shame that staff ruin the reputation of the business, before any opportunity for service. I walked in with two fluent Italian speakers (one due to heritage and the other with university level education in the language) and we were treated as if we were ... I can't even think of a word to describe it! A tall female staff member making coffee was cursing us as we walked in under her breath, ignored us, and continued to curse us as my friends enquired about a table for breakfast with another male staff member (who had helped us check in, as we are staying at the hotel associated with this cafe). My two friends were speaking to the staff in Italian - out of respect for the country we are visiting. It is unbelieveable how we were treated in a short interaction, simply asking for service in a Cafe. I would suggest the owners and staff look into their behaviour regarding customer service in a service industry. There is absolutely no need for anyone to treat anyone with this attitude.

The iwners/managers are very kind and helpful. The breakfast was just sweets, coffee and juice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not cosy or nice, rather pure and cold. The hotel is located very central and the rooms are nice and comfortable.

😐 The pastries, chocolates, and desserts are mostly 4 stars. Unfortunately, some of the front of the house staff are really rude and short. The quality and service has really gone down in the last year or so. We used to go at least once a week, but after the bad service we received numerous times. We...

👍👍 We came to the restaurant with lowexpectations given the fact that it has less than 4 stars. We were seated as soon as we arrived and we got the best seat in the house with a great view of the valley. The food was phenomenal and the staff was very friendly. We asked for ice cold water and they didn'...
