It is a very pretty hotel. Very rustic but modern at the same time. the hotel is at the top of a hill via a steep gravel path which is easy to miss from the main road. The room was a good size with two opening windows one each side of the room which is great for air flow. However because the hotel is surrounded by trees there are mosquitoes in the room therefore resorted to the air conditioning. Communication was a bit of an issue as English was not the first language of the staff but a few key words would get you by. The dinner menu is written only in Italian. The breakfast room which is upstairs is continental self service however you need to ask for coffee, tea and milk.

Courteous staff, excellent ambiance and delicious food. I am a vegetarian and they were kind enough to cook a risotto which was not in their menu.

Original villa from.the 16th century, which has been modernised since. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are guest at the Medici's. Great restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Very attentive service

Excellent hotel in a stunning surrounding, with the yellow houses and green gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful—no frills.

The location is very nice and well decorated. Food and service are quite good

Good food and good wine

We had a very good time in this hotel located in a restored villa. All the personnel of the hotel was very attentive at all times, we felt truly welcome. And we also were lucky to meet Charlie, a Jack Russell puppy who is a very good boy :)
