    Poor value for the price. This hotel is run-down. The rooms are very bare-bones. In the room there is no fridge, no hair conditioner, no lotion, no robe, only two small towels. The location is only accessible by car. There's a scary freeway right out front and the only thing you can walk to is a gas station. The staff were pretty nice and the room was quiet at least.

    The service and staff at Novotel is always great. Way above what you should expect from a hotel from this category. In my point of view there is only one small glitch not to give them a full five star rating; the location has been open for more than 20 years. This shows in the small details such as bathroom fixtures and other furnishings which need to be upgraded. All in all a big bang for the buck!!

    Very good location, has limited parking underground some cars Park double, one elevador makes squilling sound, room ok but TV never worked and did not get fixed in the two days I staied did get about a 500 pesos discount after complaining. Good restaurant has a buffet...

    Although I did not have the chance to spend many days I clearly noticed that the room needs to be update or renovated. A frigobar is missing. Water from shower took so longo to get warm.

    The hotel looks really great from the outside, and the ground floor and Mezzanine floor. The restaurant was a little bit smaller than I expected, but it worked fine for simple things at breakfast and lunch hour which were good in quality and taste. The room was nice, but I could noticed how the time has passed since the furniture didn't look from a recent decade. However, it had the most essential things to enjoy the stay at night for sleep, and the needs for a shower and bathroom. The TV didn't worked quite well and it didn't have many channel options in English nor SAP, but I didn't stay too much at the room to care so much for it. My shower didn't have a door, and there was no fridge or a mini bar, but I imagined this was by design. The elevators were not working all at the time, and they took too much time to lift people to their rooms.

    Food was ok, found a long hair first day though. Some waiters approached like if they were doing you a favor rather than a service. Elevetors were annoying, didn't work properly. TV was only open channels, no Sky, nor DirectTV or smart tv even. Key card sometimes deprograms itself out of the sudden.

    The hotel is not brand new but is decent, I've been several times and like it. The staff is very nice when you need anything.

    First time in Monterey Beautiful place I will be visiting again but I personally don't recommend this place the rooms stink the hallway carpet is from 2nd world War the main lobby looks clean once you get in the elevator then you realize where you going there is 2 elevator in the building next to each other and both are falling apart don't take my word try!! Simple customer service NON I have stayed many hotels just one time I stayed motel this place is below from motels and the food I tried first day worst food till next day I found restaurants nearby much much better and fresh food

    We were catfished! This place was gross!!! Nothing like the pictures. Dirty floors, moldy restrooms, rusty tables, everything outdated, hot and smelled disgusting! The bedding was torn, dirty, and half done. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

    Loving my stay ,very polite and welcoming staff. I am from Houston and bought meat from San Juan which is the best meat and I recommend. The hotel put it up in their refrigerator for me. They gave me a ticket number and will pick up when iam leaving. Loving my stay. Room service, bar downstairs you don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want to.

    Extremely basic but clean. Feels more like a low cost hostel than a hotel. Bathtub only had a hand-held shower fixed at shoulder hight. Internet service wasn't good if you're traveling on business. Rooms need quite a bit of maintenance.

    Pictures are very deceiving the pool area needs lots of maintenance the pool was dirty, carpets were dirty. Housekeeping kept removing the card that keeps the lights on in the room and the a/c would turn off it was very hot in the rooms coming back from activities. I made a report with the hotel didn't do anything about it. Housekeeping didn't clean the floors good, the water supply is very limited, had issues with the shower head. After all this manager said he wouldn't do anything to make our stay better and that if I wanted to place a bad review it was ok. The lack of respect and care for the guests is unacceptable will definitely not be staying here again.

    No glasses or even coffee in the rooms. Some days room cleaners did not show at all. Bathtub shower with cheap shower curtains - not great. Hotel staff hardly speaks English or some not at all, not great for overseas tourists. Expected better from a 4 star hotel.

    Our experience at Novetel was just good. We were in Monterrey for a wedding and had a large group of family and friends that stayed as well. The service at the restaurant and bar was really slow. It seemed like the were understaffed and took a long time to get your food or get waited for a drink. We put in a complaint about my sisters room being hot and they sent a maintenence person to the room who checked the temperature and said he would return with his tools. He never returned and the room stayed warm and problem was never fixed. Very disappointing experience altogether. Also, the cleaning person came in the room before knocking on the door.

    The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and solved all issues that came up during my stay there. The rooms are very large and comfortable but my sheets were so old that had holds in them and the towels were very old and always had stains on them. Although a sign invited guests to save water by hanging the towels, every time I did, the towels were changed for new ones regardless. The area is convenient but it is very hard to walk anywhere from there. Their bar and lobby are are very nice and comfortable.

    You can make any kind of event here for a very good price. Novotel has good service and food. I have no complaints. I fact, my family has done quite a lot of events in this place, from family breakfast to XV events. This place is perfect for business reunions as well. There's also a pool and playground area which kids love. It's an adequate place for pretty much anything.

    Good and clean in the inside. They follow Covid regulations. Windows from room are pretty dirty. You can not see well outside 😕.
