As a person who lived in Tokyo for almost a year, I can say this place is the closest to Japan as an overall experience. Sushi is just the best and every detail is extremely well thought through. Definitely a favorite since day one.

Very nice place, they even had a dj playing music and great Japanese food. The plates were very nice presented and good mix of Mexican flavors with the Japanese food. I didn’t liked that the waiters were very eager to clean the table as soon as you set the sticks. The price point was also a little bit high.

The food was really good and I enjoyed watching them bucher the tuna. The only sour note of the evening was when the waiter decided to steal from me because I'm a foreigner. Be careful the restaurants can configure their terminals to bill you in Canadian or US dollars while asking you to confirm the peso amount. You need to instruct every waiter to bill you in pesos unless you want to pay an extra 5%: simply for being a foreigner.

Authentic japanese food, a bit pricey but totally worth it

We had a great experience at Ryoshi Monterrey! Gerardo & Marco were exceptional servers! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was very relaxing. We would highly recommend trying yourselves!

Great japanese style restaurant,on tuesday have a show where they cut a 80+kg tuna and make sashimi with it

Every food i ordered was bad. Tenpura: the veggies were raw. Sashimi: not fresh at all. With Bad fish smell. Rollo : was not bad but was not good either. Softshell crab : holy crab.... smell bad taste bad. The worst food i have ever tasted in my life. I swear that i won't visit again.

Awesome atmosphere, staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome~ 9 of us came from Australia with limited Spanish they made sure we were happy with our meal they made all the right suggestion with food ensure and definitely ended the night with a bang! Literally! Fernando is the person to go to he recommended all the food and it was delicious~😋

Everything was great, the service was awesome. Tried the Ryoshi roll, very unique taste and also the Spicy Geisha Maki roll which is not on the menu yet, but is also very exquisite.

Ryoshi has a great atmosphere, good music, and absolutely great food. We ordered some of the sushi rolls, crunchi tacos and toro nigiri. All delicious. Service was top notch by our waiter Baltazar who recommended some of the dishes and nailed it. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent service we highly recommend this restaurant! We did not have reservations and they were able to squeeze us in ! Our waitress Samatha was very attentive and friendly. She gave us great recommendations!

Where to start? My wife and I went over 365 days ago and we dream about the carajillos and chocolate tres leche! I’m sure the food is as good but we just went in for drinks and desert. Can’t wait to go back, until then we can only relive that moment in our dreams!

Excellent food and service, portions are on the small side so be aware of it, some stuff is shareable between 2, but barely, other than that, the ambience is really nice. If you’re seated on the terrace area during the summer, be prepared to feel a bit hot, the AC, seems to escape through the unsealed window panes.

Very nice place, they have great Japanese food. The plates were excellent presented and a good mix of Mexican flavors with the Japanese food. All of my appetizers were delicious. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. All of our main dishes were very tasty and fresh. The desserts were amazing. I highly recommend the mango mostachon. The Mexican sake flight was perfect! I really recommend this place. The ambience and atmosphere are incredible.

They've ruined Japanese food for me forever. Its so good, that every other Japanese restaurant in town isn't good anymore. Its expensive but worth every cent. Portions are small, but every bite you take it's amazing
