Beautiful historical Church!!!

One of the oldest and most emblematic buildings in the San Pedro de Macorís. The cathedral was the first concrete building built in the country with the first shipment of cement to reach the island, marking the beginning of the urban modernization of the Dominican Republic. The cathedral stands out for its gigantic bell tower that can be seen from anywhere in the city.

Very very beautiful place. It is gorgeous inside as it is outside. The surrounding area holds it's little hidden gems as well. Inferring of the cathedral is the fresh fish market (la barca) and behind it is Iberia Supermarket and Juan Duarte Park.

A good place to share with your people

It is a Catholic Cathedral, it has has been kept beautifullly, clean and well decorated for the Holidays. You can make a visit from 7am to 7pm. There are daily masses at 7am and 7pm. Please visit correctly dressed.
