I traveled to El Salvador and I was told I should visit this roof top. I arrived at 630p and was advised I could not go upstairs until 7p. So we decided to eat at the restaurant below at Chatos. Once we finished we tried to go upstairs and a man by the name of Antonio told us that we could not go upstairs without reservations. I told him I was a tourist and was not advised before we sat and ate that we would not be allowed to go upstairs. He was very rude and uncourteous. I will never visit this place again and I don’t recommend anyone else to.

I was told I needed a reservation for the rooftop. In NYC, as long you have money and you are dress decently, you can get into any rooftop. All I saw was a bunch of fake pretend rich kids. Good luck with your locale.

It's good vibe. Food seems good for club food (burger and basic menu stuff). Club has that high class of Salvadorean people to it that take themselves way too seriously status wise. It's very pricey but probably normal compared to US. This has the old multiplaza Alive or Stanza vibe to it...so kinda full of wanna be rich ppl. But can be a good time probably if you are in the right crowd and come here. Place is overpriced overall for what you get. Things to know: -cover around normally $15. Sometimes if you come after 9p their is no cover. Also they do free promotions on their IG for free cover(like if you bring a kids toy) -Dancing doesn't start until lights go dim which is around 11pm. -they have a nail bar if that is your thing. Pretty sure it stops when dancing starts. Summary:HK next to this place is likely better. For a cover charge at HK you get free drinks/open bar. I'm sure is "lower" class but probably just as good. Again really depends on your crowd.

Terrible experience ….. it was a group of us about 10 ppl we were denied entry because we didn’t have an rsvp or so they said. Our friends who had an rsvp arrived and they denied us again saying it was a security issue. It was 13 of us at this point all black Americans. I advised we would purchase a section and buy bottles still was denied. I was very upset and asked to speak to the manager and some “influencer” came out and provided no help restating it’s a security issue. From the reviews I see they treat Americans like this on a regular basis. We eventually got in after a while of back forth. It wasn’t it worth the hassle to be honest.

Really beautiful views. We were asked if we had reservations, but were the only party there. I also wasn’t allowed in with a baseball hat and tried to make me leave it downstairs at the entrance. As I was about to leave because they wouldn’t let me carry the hat inside and not wear it, I was allowed in. When leaving, I noticed someone at the bar wearing a baseball hat, which made the entire situation frustrating as a tourist.

I give it a 1 star cause I can't give it a 0 star. This is the worse establishment in El Salvador !!!! My cousins & I tried to get into rooftop a couple of times & they told us we needed a reservation; we finally made a reservation & they still didn't let us in. We pulled up with money to spend but they clearly pick & choose who to let in. The times we weren't allowed to go to rooftop & we ended up going to the club on the 2nd floor & it was super wack & overrated. I spoke to the owner because the bouncer on the 2nd floor always gave us an issue & is super rude. The owner then said there was an event going on & that we were able to get in after but we decided to spend our money somewhere else. I do not recommend rooftop to anyone !!!!!!! We decided to go to a club named Circo & it was the best decision we made. Please go spend your money at Circo, you won't regret it !!!!

My cousin and I were visiting from U.S, staying near The Rooftop and we decided to stop by since the view looked gorgeous online. When we were about to get in, a man came out (not sure who he was nor did not look important) asking us if we had a reservation which we did not and then he denied entrance which was dumb because we were ready to spend money in there, oh well their loss but I do not recommend this place unfortunately. They act like we do not have options in the states lol. Also, all these reviews are negative against them so not a good look. MMG

We came by on a Wednesday night, weren’t able to get in due to not making a reservation, however when we did try to call and make one. Nobody seems to answer the phone. We offered to buy a bottle once inside and they still said no. I understand a Friday/ Saturday night maybe but a Wednesday? As they were looking us up and down. I think they decide on who they like aesthetically (bouncer)

This place is horrible. They only allowed me to enter the middle level when I specifically came here to go to the rooftop. I explained to the bouncer that it did not mention on the poster from IG that you needed a reservation to enter The Rooftop but he said thats how they did things. They are very unfair. Servicio horible!

This place left such bad taste in my mouth. It was 4 of us and we were told only two of us could in. I guess you need to look a certain way to be allowed up, 15 year old looking girls with bell bottom jeans 🤷🏽‍♀️. To top it all of the guy in charged of allowing entry did not even looked like he belong there 🤦🏽‍♀️. Who the heck do they think they are!! Horrible experience by all means.

Horrible experience at this club!! I have never experienced such a racist and a truly example of classism. we got to this place ready to have a good time and ended up leaving with a bad taste of nothing but low education when it comes to the people that work here, I travel around the world and I have been in amazing night clubs but nothing worse that this especially being in a country like El Salvador. On Thursday night since we arrive I asked the security if there was any “dress code” his response: “we’re pretty chill on Thursdays, just not shorts” Which i said ok cool… while waiting for the rest of my party we we’re filling the bill getting bottles, hookah etc. While the rest of my party arrive my friend called me and said the “security guy” was refusing him and his friend the entrance to the place so I when down to the lobby to greet them and at this point I thought it was just a misunderstanding so I ask the security what was the problem he said “I can’t said it in front of them, I already explain the gentleman” I said: “I asked you in the begging if there was a dress code” while this conversation was happening I acknowledge he was just being racist for they way my friend where dress… nothing that breaks their dress policy. so I ask to speak to the manager his response was “I make the rules here” I immediately left to ask for my check to ended that horrible situation, we spend about $200 in less than an hour and we’re willing to stay all night but that taste was just horrible. I ended up paying and asking for the manager which is was a dead route he got very bossy and he knew the situation couldn’t be addressed but refuses to acknowledge that they were just being racist for classifying people ways to dress or talk. While I experience situations all around the world when it comes to nightclubs, this one is the poorest ZERO EDUCATION, BAD CULTURE and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wish nothing but a taste of their own medicine!!! Never coming back.

Super disappointed, tried to visit the place for a nice hang out after hearing good things. Staff didn't answer the phone calls or messages on IG. For that reason I showed up to the place and the staff was unable to get me. Some rude staff members where even talking trash about my group. I was highly disappointed about the whole situation, tried to get in and even waited around for like an hour in the cold night. And the worst part is that some other people were even able to get in without a reservation. The staff should do a better job communicating with customers.

Don’t waste your time to whatever management reads these make sure you fire that old “security guard” who thinks he runs the place. Told him we were from out of town and we were willing to buy a table and he still didn’t want to let us in obviously the wonder of this establishment don’t like money and are so superficial. Came back after to talking to someone and said we had to spend at least 250 😂the bottles aren’t even that price inside we would’ve had to buy more than three bottles!! They are a rip off we could’ve payed but after that whole encounter we didn’t want to give them a penny the place right under next door had way better service do better. I haven’t seen anyone who owns this place respond to any of these comments which all seem to be the same looks like they don’t plan on making change soon and don’t care about anything

Overrated wannabe LA bar jajaja

I recently visited this nightclub in San Salvador and it was an amazing experience! The music was phenomenal and had me dancing all night long. The drinks were also delicious and reasonably priced, which is always a plus. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this nightclub to anyone looking for a fun night out. Make sure you know a local who frequents the nightclub, it's a very exclusive club.

This is a nice place to hang out and have fun. There is a variety of beers; national and imported. Nice place to have a birthday party! I love the fact that there is an outdoor seating. The view to the city or the San Salvador volcano is awesome. The theme of the bar and restaurant is cool. It is a good place to enjoy of a beer. Nice music. It could be a good place to dance too.The food is good. I like their pizza and hamburgers.

It is incredibe!! That because of my hair cut!!! they dont let me go inside!!! I heard a lots of people complaining about how they dress or what they wear, they wont let you in!!

DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU READ REVIEWS FIRST!!! Classists and racial profiling. Visiting from the US a group of (black women) we were not allowed entry. The person at the door said we needed to make a reservation 2 days prior. However it’s not listed as such anywhere. Unfortunately we didn’t read the reviews prior to wasting our time and money on uber. To be honest this is a perfect display and act of prejudice. Never will recommend this place to anyone. Awful experience.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Good luck getting in if you are here for travel and with your passport bros. Having bands does not matter to them. Make friends with the bouncer or promoters and get a reservation in or you’ll be left outside treated like a peasant.

First we arrived as a group of 4 African American Women and our Uber driver friend which is a native to Salvador The 2 bouncers looked us up & down literally . & told us you have to make a reservation At least in advance once they seen us . If your a tourist run far away from there , it’s many other places that’s going to give you a great experience

If it was possible to give this place 0 stars I would, I came here as a tourist and was recommended to this place by locals. When we were trying to get in when we were told we needed reservations even though we had several friends upstairs already and with a section. After back and forth, we find out through a friend it was because my buddy had earrings on, and security guard didn’t like that which is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t recommend this place to anyone coming to visit San Salvador.

Don't even bother to go, they just don't let you in with 100 reason , no reservation bla bla bla. They just let in locals, who will spend money just for one beer. So many other better places to go, where you are welcome.

No reservation, can't get in, don't waste your time, the guy told us a week in advance, we are here only for a week, they look at you from head to toe. Being a native Salvadoran visiting after many years I felt disappointed because I'm with friends that are from other countries and seeing the discrimination was disappointing.

Help bring this place down. Absolute classism here. Trash of a place. Don’t support the reason this beautiful country doesn’t come up!

DONT waste your time on going!!! We got out the car and as soon as we get out they are looking at you from head to toe. The valet took our car and when we are going in the bouncers like you need a reservation. Mind you no where on there website does it say that nor there social media ads. I don’t know what they expect you to wear or look like because you can feel the energy of the bouncers while they are grilling you up and down…. One of the employees that was nice enough to talk to us said sorry but that’s how the bouncer is. Best place in town for a night out, disco with a nice drink selection, rooftop for drinks and events, or a small plates resturant and bar; good for coming with friends or large crowds. Lots of options to chose from and good times assured.

Been here before on the weekend and I just happened to come back on a Wednesday night when it was empty and the bouncer was on a power trip. He said we couldn’t go in lol so just fyi if they ask if you have a reservation just know it’s because they’re trying to reject your entry.
