CAREFUL THE WITH SCAM: we paid 200usd tour for a 20min walk, 2 ruins and nothing more. We spent almost 4 hours in the van doing nothing, in the pictures and descriptions looks like your are going to hike the volcano (LIKE A NORMAL TOUR DUH) but no, they don’t do that, but charged the same, if it only cost 30usd that would be okay, but is a totally scam the price for the things you get, DON’T GET THEIR VOLCANO TOUR, just awful. If you want to do another tour with the company then go, their vans are nice and guides are good, but this tour was a totally scam. Again I think they just need to be careful with what they are promoting. We were expecting to hike the volcano like some of the photos show but we did not. The guides were very sweet and knowledgeable. They were amazing!!!!! But the tour just wasn’t what we were expecting for the really steep price.

I choose not to say anything negative about the first dry driver who picked me up from the airport; however I have to state for the record that Marvel was marvelous ! He and he alone restored my trust in Salvadoran Tours, gave me a fresh look at San Salvador, its soundings, volcanoes and he made me believe in mankind again 😚 Mr Pepper is an expert in Salvadoran history as well as Central America, he is passionate about his homeland and it shows... His love of his country and its people gave me a deeper insight into this beautiful country and it's rich extension journey to what you enjoy and experience today. We had a 12 hour layover in El Salvador and decided to make the best of it and take a guided tour with Salvadorean Tours. We are SO glad we did! My family had the best time visiting with our wonderful tour guide, Eduardo! He showed us his beautiful country and taught us so much about the history of El Salvador. He was funny, passionate, and fed our curiosity with his vast knowledge. It was an eye-opening experience and made me leave behind my preconceived notions that had been previously formed by sensationalized, negative news about El Salvador I had seen over the years. All the stories Eduardo shared with us inspired me to learn more about the country when I got home. We’ll have to come back another time and tour El Salvador with this company again! It was so easy to book the tour and the team had great communication via Email and WhatsApp. Eduardo and Vitelio (our tour driver) arrived early to pick us up from the airport in a big comfortable van. We really appreciated Vitelio looking after our carry-on bags while we stopped multiple times to see historical landmarks, go on a hike in Boqueron National Park, eat Salvadorean lunch, and walk around downtown San Salvador with Eduardo. They made sure to keep our tour on track and dropped us off on time to catch our flight home. Forget what you’ve heard and just come see El Salvador for yourself! Our family had a great experience and we highly recommend booking a tour with this company. Huge THANK YOU to Eduardo and Vitelio for an awesome day!

Absolutely brilliant. We had an eight hour stop over in El Salvador so arranged a private tour for four hours. We were met off the plane and whizzed through customs and security before being introduced to our guide. He then drove us into San Salvador, and pointed out key areas/sites. He also gave a great overview of the country. He also took us up a volcano and to a national park, before stopping off for papusas (which were YUMMY) on the way back to the airport. It was perfectly timed, organised and executed and we really felt that we got an insight and understanding into the country. Hopefully we’ll be back for a longer trip! So much more fun than sitting in the airport!

I had one of the best tours ever with them. I was lucky to be the only one in the van. Vitelio my host was so kind and patient on all my requests. Had a great time at the Coatepeque lake and Santa Ana Volcano.

I booked a full day tour to the Mayan Ruins & was provided with tour Guide Alfredo. Alfredo is extremely knowledgeable, friendly & accommodating! He answered all of my questions & gave detailed explanations of each archeological site we visited and even gave additional information on different points of interest we passed along the way. I highly recommend this tour company and specifically tour guide Alfredo! He's awesome

Salvadorean Tours did everything necessary to make my family vacation flawless. I created an entire itinerary and booked all of our hotels and really only asked Salvadorean Tours to provide us with daily transportation and driver. Fernando was amazing in helping determine how much it would cost to have a driver with a 15 passenger van. Out itinerary was not easy and we had different groups of people arriving on different dates and times and each time a representative was there to pick up the group and deliver them to our current location. The absolute best part of Salvadorean Tours, however, was our driver, Vitelio! Vitelio was AMAZING! He was the main driver for our group from start to finish. Vitelio was friendly, knowledgable, and went above and beyond to help us make the most of our trip. Vitelio helped translate for us when we got lost in speaking Spanish. He helped us find an amazing guide for our hike up Santa Anna volcano. He provided recommendations for restaurants to stop along the way and he never steered us wrong. He called some of our accommodations ahead of time to make sure he knew how to get us to where we were going. Words cannot describe how good Vitelio is at parking! Vitelio is AMAZING and we were sad to say goodbye to him. If you are planning a trip to El Salvador, I highly recommend using Salvadorean Tours for anything you need. They will help you plan an entire itinerary or they are happy to provide only the services required.

I was visiting El Salvador for one week. I went on four different tours with this company. It was an amazing experience. The tour guides went far and beyond to accommodate my busy schedule and my requests. I was very happy and satisfied with the quality of the tours. All tour guides were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They spoke very good English. I wish I have stayed longer in this beautiful country.

My friend and I had a fantastic experience visiting Santa Ana and hiking to the top of the volcano. Our guide, Omar, picked us up on time as scheduled (actually, he was here early), and was immediately very friendly and welcoming. He explained much of the surrounding sites along the drive, took us to get food/water and use the bathroom beforehand, made sure we connected with our tour group at the park, and waited for us the whole time. The hike itself was stunning. Afterwards, Omar took us for lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed every moment of the experience.

We had a great tour of Ruta de las Flores with Eduardo! He is an extremely friendly, informative and fun tour guide. Eduardo took us to a number of different towns and it was so nice seeing the connections he has with the lovely local people. It made the tour feel very personal and special. We learnt so much from Eduardo- thankyou so much! <3

We had a great city and volcano turn with our tour guide Adonis. His english speaking was great and knowledge as good and his passion for his country came through. We had a great time getting to know San Salvador and the history of El Salvador.

To Live The Real Salvadorean Experience!

My son and I had a fabulous time visiting El Boquerón and Santa Tecla, thanks to Eduardo with Salvadorean Tours! We were picked up from our hotel right on time. The transportation was clean. Eduardo was so friendly, full of historical information and fully bilingual in Spanish/English! The experience was so much more informative with Eduardo. We learned so much about environmental protection, some of El Salvadorean history and even practiced our Spanish with him along the way! I would highly recommend this tour! I love El Salvador and the people are friendly and extremely hospitable!
