Came
here
today
(4/2/23)
to
buy
a
dryer,
found
a
sale
on
one
that
we
liked
but
they
only
had
the
exposition
model
in
stock.
The
attendant,
Sonia
R.
R.
(full
name
redacted
for
privacy)
told
us
that
because
it
was
the
exposition
model
we
had
to
buy
it
at
full
price,
and
only
if
we
bought
the
5-year
guarantee
as
it
was
a
requirement
directly
from
Samsung;
we
refused,
so
she
told
us
we
couldn't
buy
it.
We
asked
an
employee
from
another
department
for
help;
he
called
the
manager
and
they
said
of
course
we
could
buy
the
exposition
model
at
the
sale
price
and
without
a
guarantee.
After
another
20
minutes
of
resistance,
we
were
able
to
purchase
the
dryer.
While
waiting
downstairs,
a
customer
who
had
witnessed
the
interaction
informed
us
that
Sonia
and
another
colleague
had
chosen
to
wrap
up
a
different
dryer
for
us
(valued
over
€200
less);
we
went
back
upstairs
and
had
to
explain
to
the
security
guards
and
manager
that
they
were
loading
the
wrong
model.
Downstairs,
we
eventually
received
the
correct
dryer
but
meanwhile
it
had
been
vandalised
(pictured).
A
huge
thank
you
to
the
employee
who
helped
us;
however,
due
to
the
overall
experience
we
won't
ever
be
coming
back
to
MediaMarkt.
