This was my first time visiting San Sebastian and I was introduced to this legendary bar by a local friend who own a brewery. Bar Desy has been a staple in the Gross neighborhood for over 30 years. A father and son enterprise that have created a fervent following for over three decades creating community. You can start your day with breakfast, delicious pinxtos, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice and good conversations with the owner Jose Maria. Lunch or late night drinks and more pinxtos, you can spend the whole day in here and you will always be treated like family. The son, Gorka, has curated an impressive list of beers in bottles, cans and two dedicated draft lines with some of the best beers in the world. Late nights can go into the wee hours with great food, music and new friends that you will meet when you visit. I will definitely recommend this place if you are ever in the city and I am looking forward to coming back soon. Topa!
