We ate almost every meal at this location while visiting San Sebastian! We were not staying at the hotel, just walking along La Concha Beach and came across the terrace seating. We were wanting to enjoy our dinner with the best view of the beach, and this place was perfect for that! The service was great, and the food and drinks were delicious. I would say priced just right given the quality of the food. Everything was very fresh, especially the seafood dishes we ordered. The calamari was cooked to perfection every time we ordered it! And the sangria here was the best I had in the area! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Donostia-San Sebastian area!

The terrace on the Concha is fantastic. The service is abominable. It is not good enough to recruit skinny boys and dress them as sailors, they need to be able to take orders and serve drinks.

Worst hotel stay of our entire vacation. Ac doesn't work, dated rooms are stuffy, windows aren't soundproof, bed is hard as a rock, pillows are cheap foam, bed-linens are rough, bidet is broken, shower has no shield so water goes everywhere. Rude staff. The parking is a nightmare and over-priced...no valet and instructions for parking a block away are inaccurate....hotel charges too much money for self parking 5 floors below with broken elevator.

Can’t beat the location of this hotel, and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We stayed in a penthouse room with a terrace that had a fantastic view of the beach and bay. On the slightly negative side, the a/c struggled to cool the room lower than 22 degrees celsius even when it was less than 22 outside! Rooms show some slight wear, which along with the a/c issues make it hard to give 5 stars for such an expensive hotel. But overall I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Phantastic hotel with everything you are looking for. I highly recommend it. BUT: don't go to the outside area for food and drinks. It is the worst service I ever experienced, and I traveled a lot. It is so lousy. Dont't waste time and nerves!

Loved this place! The service was impeccable, everyone was going above & beyond to help us. It is definitely worth it to have a sea view room. You enjoy the best view from San Sebastian all day long!

The room acoustics are 1920's no modern sound insulation....don't want to hear next room TV.......or other animal noises......needs $$ upgrade that's why not 5 star .......for same price per room can stay at Emirates Palace and have 3 room suite.... Deeds to do better.....!

First day at the Hotel and all good apart from the weather! Excellent location and very friendly staff.

This hotel had a very old-fashioned and luxurious feel to it. We were greeted and treated very well from the start. I love the old fashioned wood elevator that took us up to our room. Great customer service! A member of staff got all of our luggage out of the car and brought it up to our room. The bartender filled our water bottle with fresh water and opened our wine bottles for us. The concierge was able to tell us about some scenic drives to get us to the flysch rocks. Parking is in an underground structure that is less than half a block from the hotel. You can walk through the bar and exit through the back of the hotel to instantly access the beach. We did this for a cool morning swim. There is also a walking path and bike path between the beach and the hotel. The hotel is located a short walk from old town and is therefore very close to lots of activities and tons of restaurants. The greatest feature of the hotel and the reason that we booked it was for the fantastic ambiance and view provided by the balcony. We slept all night every night with the door open listing to the waves and we started an end of each day on the balcony looking out over the bay and watching people running, biking, walking their dogs, fishing, swimming. We did not opt for the breakfast, and we did not use the restaurant or bar-these did seem very expensive, but the room was well priced.

I treated my mum to an staycation in January 2023. The rooms were comfy and spacious. I particularly enjoyed the bed and the marble bath. The staff was helpful. This hotel has not lobby space to relax... It has a bar and a terrace though, buzzing with customers from breakfast until late night. The hotel location is fabulous, right opposite to La Concha beach and the nearby La Perla Spa (a must visit when in Donosti). I don't recommend booking the breakfast buffet: it's way too expensive and timings are not very generous.

I visit Donostia every few months and whenever we’re there we stay in this hotel. We loooove the breakfast. The ocean view rooms are spectacular.

One very nice and special place. Amazing views when on the seaside and sitting in the bar. Very nice staff, comfortable beds.

The BEST location possible! The hotel has an amazing bar/restaurant looking over the ocean, which is hard to find in San Sebastián. The room was beautifully decorated and perfect for what we needed. They even had towels we could take down to the beach. The front desk staff were so helpful giving us dinner recommendations and helping us book a taxi to the airport. We couldn’t have found a better hotel to stay at!

The hotel did not meet my expectation! At £400 a night I would expect the rooms to be clean, the staff to be attentive and not racist. I would also expect all the fixtures and fittings to work properly, the light flicker horrendously due to poor cabling. The service in the bar is non existent. Intact! Because we were English/British we were ignored, in 60 minutes we did not get served despite them seeing us and just refusing to come over. The carpets were stained, the bathroom was grim and falling apart. I would advice anyone not to spend £400 a night in this hotel. It is very disappointing.

The front desk and concierge (Leire) were amazing. They went above and beyond what we had asked, set us up with excellent tours and guides. For such a high caliber hotel in the perfect location, the staff made us feel as though we were family. The cleaning staff as well were so kind, respectful, professional. We felt safe and taken care of. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We were able to see and do more than we had anticipated. We will be back in the fall. Highly recommend!!

One of the best spots in San Sebastian. The rooms are authentic, the location is amazing and having a martini in the outdoor restaurant while contemplating the sunset and the horizon is like winning the lottery.

We very much enjoyed our 1 night stay in July. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional concierge service, specifically Leire, who went above and beyond to secure a reservation at a highly sought-after nearby restaurant. We are eternally grateful for her efforts, as it made our visit truly special.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Our room had a sea view. The staff was super nice. And we were only a short walk to Old Town. Highly recommend!

I felt quite welcome the moment I walked inside the hotel. The front desk and concierge, especially Laura, were exceptional. She went out of her way to assist me with my luggage dilemma. The hotel was in an excellent location, and the staff made us feel at ease and were eager to assist me with everything I required. I only have words of gratitude. I highly recommend! 🍀

My wife and I spent the second week of October at this hotel and enjoyed every minute. We had a sea view room which was very comfortable with a beautiful mirrored and well equipped shower room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was simply incredible and of course the location is great. We ate twice in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. Parking is nearby underground and is recommended . The hotel is pricey but we considered it very good value for money considering the facilities.

Simply put the best hotel in San Sebastián. If you can, stay in one of the top floor sea view rooms. Best place to have a morning coffee overlooking LA Concha and great people watching. The bar always top class, staff professional.

This was our favorite hotel on a 3.5 week vacation, and we stayed in 5 hotels. This was #1! The location is beyond compare. Right on the boardwalk, with water views, and very close to old town. The food and drinks in the lobby bar and cafe were great. The staff was incredibly helpful whenever we needed help. The room was large with a patio overlooking the water. Everything was just amazing, and if we come back to San Sebastian we'll only be staying here!

All I will say is, if you are going to stay in San Sebastian for more than one night, this hotel is a must. We had a sea view room on the fourth floor and it was great just watching the world go by. Our room by very spacious with ample room for suitcases, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was close to all areas of San Sebastian. It might not be the cheapest, but if you want a great stay in San Sebastian, this hotel is a must.

This is for the restaurant on close to the beach. We waited 10 minutes to get seated and waited another 23 for our order, which in the end was not correct. Afterwards had to wait for additional 10 minutes for a glass of water (And no - there was not a lot of people. 6 tables total) Price is purely for the location and the view - don’t expect much from the service. Food was… Good but nothing you can’t find everywhere else in the city for half the price. Come here for a cup of coffee while looking at the beach, nothing more, as you might be waiting for a while. At least the view compensates.

It is an older hotel with great character. What makes it unique is that is is a old hotel with modern flare. The rooms have modern appointments and is centrally located . You can walk to everything.

Great Beachfront location. It’s an old building but well kept, rooms are renovated, particularly the bathrooms. We are a family of four and slept comfortably in a queen bed plus a sofa bed. Restaurant terrace has a great sunset view. Good bang for your buck if uou are looking for a nice hotel at a great spot. There are also plenty of restaurants at a walking distance.

Beautiful hotel, inside and outside. I had a classic sea view room on the 4th floor, the view was incredible - from monte Igueldo to monte urgull, with a perfect flat crescent beach in front of you. I loved sipping coffee or tea while watching all the activities on the beach. During Christmas season the lights in front of and on the city hall are dreamy, completed with a Ferris wheel and a carousel, it’s a fairy tale played every night, even the constantly on and off rain adds more warmth to the atmosphere. I also loved the bright and airy hotel bar/lounge which has an expansive ground level sea view. The hotel staff is very professional and warm, everything I asked for was taken care of on the dot. Coming during the wettest and coldest time of the year I still had a fantastic time here. Everything is perfect in San Sebastián.

Excellent hotel and perfect location! Maria at the front desk is wonderful and the bar staff know how to make a cocktail. Splurge on a sea view,; it's worth it.

Wow! Can't wait to come back again! Got this resort for a excellent rate at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I enjoyed this resort and I'm really happy I stayed at my favorite hotel much cheaper than what I generally pay. Very nice seaview rooms. Great indoor outdoor door with sound proofing. Removed 95% of outdoor beach noise. Could hear neighbor rooms though.

A very popular hotel and always full of guests. Staff are very helpful snd friendly. A hotel with the best view of Bay of Concha. Make sure you have a room with the sea view. Very near to walk along the sea front to the old town where all the best Pinxtos bars are. Lots of breakfast bars around the hotel and the fresh food market, St. Martin is just round corner. We shall return anytime for its very strategic location.

Excellent location for families. Beach on your doorstep. Everything walking distance so no car needed. Staff are excellent. Concierge Jon is able to deliver on every level. Will definitely return. Take a tapas tour and you will skip the lines and discover food and wines beyond the tourist traps. Try and ice cream at Loco Polo. It’s all a short distance from the hotel including the Old Town.

We had such a great stay here! Concierge Edu (spelling?) was FANTASTIC!! We needed an accessible room and booked one accordingly, or so we thought, but when we arrived we realized it wouldn’t work but she coming up with an amazing solution. She was also super knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations and arrangements the rest of our stay. She singlehandedly made our stay at this hotel the best of our whole trip! The service was great, location was unbeatable (so close to everything), and the views were incredible. Definitely recommend!!

My wife and I have just returned from a very pleasant stay at this fantastic hotel. In essence everything about this hotel is simply excellent, located in a stunning location in a beautiful city. The staff without exception were attentive, friendly and accommodating. The service and food I would describe as being second to none. I would like to highlight in particular the professionalism of one staff member in particular, the head Concierge. I can only say that this lady is simply exceptional. Her capacity to solve guest problems even those outside her remit knows no bounds. Over the past 45 years I have had the good fortune to stay in many hotels pretty much all over the world and I can say with a great deal of conviction that I never met a hotel employee anywhere with her degree of professionalism. In a word she is a credit to her chosen profession.

We left a bag with precious jewelry behind and we called the same day to notice the hotel. Clearly the cleaning service took it. The hotel did not take any responsibility on the matter. They just stop responding. would not recommend at all to stay here. You would expect another response from a hotel like this.

Great experience. Stunning views over concha. Great room with one of the best showers. Old world feel with modern services. Only issue is no outdoor terrace bar facing water.

  • 5/5 Emely . 1 year ago on Google
I stayed two days on a business trip and I was a little concerned as the price for the room seemed too reasonable for that premium location centered at la Concha and the supposed level of the hotel. So I’m especially amazed about the amenities and I was just feeling very comfortable and well hosted. The staff is attentive and friendly, professional but nicely casual every moment of the day. The whole installations have a cosy and maritim, still not old fashioned, atmosphere and are well maintained. I loved my room, and I need to mention, also the bathroom. Everything was clean and having a garage parking just in front of the door was giving good comfort. Breakfast has a very good quality and nice selection. Prepared sandwiches (Pintxos) give you the possibility to just grab one and start enjoying. So finally I would say - enjoy the view and feel good 🏯☀️

A gorgeous historic hotel with modern facilities and amenities, and an unbridled view over La Concha Bay, this hotel is THE place to stay for beautiful food, wonderful service and relaxation. My husband and I stayed for two weeks from 21 May to 3 June 2022 here are so wonderful and have gone above and beyond to give us a luxury stay and cater to my husband’s dietary needs. The room was perfect and clean and room service were attentive and friendly. Generally, customer service was exceptional: special shout out to Yoelis at Reception, and both Irene and Nerea in the dining room for breakfast each day - these ladies went above and beyond and made us feel so much at home. Having such stellar views, immediate access to the beach, La Perla Day Spa and restaurants, and a short stroll either way to the city centre, Old Town and Monte Igueldo, made for such a wonderful stay. We will definitely return to this beautiful hotel and have made wonderful memories there.

The location is superb and if you have a seaside view it is great. Breakfast is really good and there is a massive amount of choices. Unfortunately, the rooms are a little outdated and there is no gym.

Beautiful location on the beach. High end hotel that welcomes tourists and of course speaks English. A great place to have afternoon tea and a cerveza. Great service.

Do not under any circumstances consider parking here. The parking is not at the hotel and the directions provided to the parking do not work. Driving to the place is basically impossible as well. Park outside of the main area and take a cab if you stay here.

We spent two nights at the Hotel de Londres and it was good but some small changes could make it even better. We splurged and got a beach front room. The view is amazing! The room was small but well decorated. Great bathroom with two sinks. The location is also great - within walking distance of restaurants, parks, shopping. The gym was a big disappointment. There were two sets of cheap hand weights that had 4kg as the heaviest. The floor mat were flimsy. Please invest in better gym equipment! The instructions for parking was not clear. Getting to the parking level was a real challenge. Trying to access our car when checking out was even more difficult. Please revise the instructions to provide clear directions.

Love this Hotel, the views of La Concha Bay are incredible day and night. Staff are so nice. Sunsets from the balcony rooms are breath taking and out side on the promenade great food and drinks. Well worth a stay but only if you get the sea view room. 🌞🌞🌞⛵🌅🌊⛱️

This hotel is absolutely horrible. After only being in the room less than an hour, I got out of the shower and noticed mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. We called the front desk and after discussing, they agreed to give us a refund but we had to check out right then (11 pm) and they didn’t seem concerned and were not helpful at all. They didn’t apologize or offer any assistance in finding an alternative. All they said they’re going to do is “send housekeeping to look at it.” They offered to move us rooms the following day if we’d stay in that room for the first night, but why would we pay $500+ to stay in a room with mold? For being a 4-star hotel, this is absolutely unacceptable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

I typically don't spend this much on hotel rooms but to have the view of the ocean and to be beachside was invaluable. We loved every minute of our stay there, and the restaurant downstairs was over the top out of this world.
