Very nice hotel with cinema theme. Cleaned and well located. The restaurant is also nice. The hotel is offering DVDs for rental. The only downside is on the parking garage that did not have enough space for our car so we had to park in the street with non renewable parking time, we had to leave early in the morning. Too bad! Will definitely stay again, making sure a parking garage is booked around the hotel :-)

SKIP THIS HOTEL!!!! Be aware! The king beds are not true king beds, they are two twins pushed together. Their excuse is ā€œNowhere is it specified that the king size bed has to be a single mattressā€ even though we flat out asked if it was 2 twins and they assured use they where not. The showers/tub are cramped which is silly because they have plenty of space. The beds are rock hard and the pillows are terrible. They put all their energy into design but failed completely on function and comfort. They have one baby window in the room and very little lighting. The walls are super thin you can hear EVERYTHING in the room next door. We reported all this to the front desk but they didnā€™t log most of the issues due to contact with the hotel later. The smug manager ā€œtriedā€ to make it up by giving us a baby bottle of wine and some broken chocolates. This location is further away from where you want to be than advertised. Stay at a hotel closer to the bay and youā€™ll be much happier. They advertise being a 4* but itā€™s only cosmetic, they are only 1* for comfort, service and location.

On-point rating 8,2 Hotel is located about 1,5km from old town we came by car and had to park on the street (for free) there are many parking availabilities but it can take a minute before a spot comes available. I do not know if parking in the hotel is paid or free The hotel also has a proper cocktailbar and a tapaseria where they offer a very fair price menu bar is open all day kitchen closes afternoon Room and bed are good and in out case where quiet. The gym offers some basic cardo equipment and weights till 20 kilo We stayed for new years eve, i mist say i think San Sebastiaan is awesome 364 nights a year but not on new years eve. Things to improve - offer water in the gym - offer a new years eve party

We arrived much earlier than the check in time and they had the room ready for us. I had informed that we would arrive in the area very early so that there would be storage of the luggage until we entered the room and finally they already had the room ready for us! thank you very much... played a big role in our rest

Beautiful cool hotel, not far from the beach/center, love the cinema theme and different themed rooms! You never know what celebrity you get ! Great cocktail bar really professional staff, had an awesome Gin Tonic with hibiscus infusionā¤ļø I recommend it! The bathrooms in the room are also huge, so much space and all very clean. Will stay here again šŸ˜Š

Incredible boutique hotel with lovely ambiance for cinema lovers! The hotel is all renovated. The rooms are very comfortable with greats beds, a desk area and couch. They are larger than they appear in the pictures! The staff is wonderful and helpful. The breakfast has plenty of options from the tortilla espaƱola, bits, breads and fruit. The parking is easily accessible and provides direct access from the parking to the lobby and the rooms (with a need for a hotel key, obviously, for security). VERY CONVENIENT!- The location is about a 15min walk from the La Concha beach and the main city center. There is a bus stop right outside which is convenient to move to and from the city center. 100% would recommend!

The creepiest interior design Iā€™ve seen in hundreds of hotels!! Firstly, there is an ugly doll looking like Hitchcock in the lobby. Then, my room was covered with horrible images of Woody Allen. He was even in the bathroom. Creepy indeed. A tiny double bed was squeezed in a tiny room. No bathroom amenities, slippers or complimentary water in the 4* hotel. The phone didnā€™t work. As well as the remote control. But they have a DVD player LOL itā€™s 2023ā€¦ The reception and the housekeeping did a good job though. Also, we received a bottle of wine upon arrival to ease that Woody Allen nightmare, but it didnā€™t help. No, I donā€™t recommend this hotel .

A very nice hotel located an easy 15 mins walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Very friendly and efficient service, both on arrival and throughout our stay, in particular the service at the breakfast buffet, which along with car parking and welcome drink, was all included in our package. Highly recommended.

Great central location. Easy access to transit and lots of restaurants and even grocery stores near by. The staff was great. And fortunately for us spoke multiple languages. (Our Spanish wasnā€™t great. Their English was better!) Nice part of town. Fun decor!

Amazingly nice hotel for the price. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Secure on site parking was great. It is an enjoyable walk to old town, but there are also nice local bars and restaurants. Tons of hot water in the spacious shower. The restaurant looked very tasty, but we didn't get a chance to try it out. Room and common areas were scrupulosly clean.

Chose Zinema as it has a car park and we had our bikes with us. Having them made is really easy to get in to town. Lovely breakfast with real Orange juice, and the omelette was delicious. Thereā€™s a beautiful fresh smell too everywhere. Only gave 4 stars as there was no body lotion provided, which surely is expected in a 4* hotel. I hadnā€™t brought any, when I asked at reception I was told they didnā€™t have any. They then found one tiny bottle which was better than nothing. I get that they are trying to save the environment with less plastic use, but they could have a bottle attached to the wall like they do with the soap dispenser.

We stayed at Zinema in August and were a little disappointed in our stay. The hotel experience was okay but I wouldnā€™t consider it good value for money. The front desk was cold and unfriendly, they also had no parking for any of the days throughout our stay. Thereā€™s also a creepy statue of a fat old man when you walk in. On the plus side, Cocktails were good and bartender is great.

The stay was ok, but unfortunately I forgot 4 bottles of amenities (my own) in the bathroom when I left. The reservation was under my partners name, so I asked him to call the hotel a couple of hours later when I realized, explaining the situation, they told us they didnā€™t have anything in their records but would check with the cleaning staff and for sure call back the next day with an answer (not really clear why only the next day, but we patiently agreed). Not only they didnā€™t call back, we had to call again, only to hear they ā€œdidnā€™t find anythingā€. Either they threw away 4 FULL bottles of shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and shower gel or they kept them. Either way, itā€™s not the type of behavior or client service I would expect from this type of hotel - or any hotel for that matter. Edit after seeing the hotelā€™s response: If thatā€™s the standard, thatā€™s what you should have told us on the phone the first time we called, not that youā€™d ask the cleaning staff ā€œif they saw anythingā€ and ā€œcall us backā€. If I had left shoes or clothes or something else, would you throw it? Donā€™t you have a lost and found or something? You have the contact details of your guests, you can get in touch if something is left on the room, regardless if is ā€œperishableā€ or not. It wonā€™t change anything this time, but hopefully for the future.

We chose this hotel because of the movie theme, we stayed in the Vanessa Redgrave room with terrace. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom, the shower was the best shower Iā€™ve ever had in a hotel (and better than the one I have at home!). We enjoyed a meal at the Bistroteka, very tasty food and great service. The option to be able to borrow a dvd and watch it in the room is also a great idea. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the main area which means that the hotel is in a quieter area, which we liked. Buses stop outside the hotel which is super handy for getting anywhere! The only downsides we found was the glass door of the bathroom (looks pretty but not very practical) and the bed was on wheels which meant it was constantly sliding away from the wall. Otherwise, very happy with our stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at Zinema7. Great hotel in a good location. We were in a quiet area, but easily able to walk to downtown and old town. We loved everything about the hotel. The service was great, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend.

Comfortable clean hotel with a film theme. It's about a mile to walk to San Sebastian Old Town, just enough to walk off a glass or two of the local wine. Highly recommended.

A last minute booking, and a great place in town to stumble upon. Well thought out comfortable rooms, Nespresso machine (no kettle) and a great breakfast - quality not quantity, although no limit to what you can have. The fresh orange juice was the absolute BEST! Parking there is a great idea as we left it there after che king out to explore the town which they were more than happy for guests to do and encouraged it on both occasions we went to reception. If we come back to San SebastiĆ”n I wouldnā€™t hesitate to book again. Great value.

Fantastic hotel with excellent location a short walking distance from town centre.

About a 20 min walk from San SebastiƔn's Playa de la Concha, this is a really cool, film-themed hotel, where each room has it's own star from the world of cinema. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel bar and lounge areas are great for hanging out. Would certainly stay here again when returning to the city.

I enjoyed the hotel. Has a nice movie vibe theme. Wifi unfortunately was pretty erratic in our room, which was a pity. As the city is small, i prefer to stay out of the tourist hub. Across the hotel you can rent bicycles. There is a restaurant and coffee area, with a few lounges to chill. Room modern and clean. Recommended. Price, value for money.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are great and the prices are good. Very clean and comfortable. FYI: This hotel is just outside the city center and a good 10 minutes walk from the beach

Has all amenities a movie goer who is trying to stay in shape would need. Rooms were quiet and clean. Shower pressure THE BEST. No conditioner so bring or buy your own.

Great hotel with friendly staff. Each room is themed to an actor as it was originally a cinema. About a 15 m8n walk to the beach but we liked that

Very pleasant stay. Provided with memory foam pillows on request. Very friendly staff. 15 minute walk to the old part of the town, which is great to walk off the over indulgence if beer and pintxos.

Very nice hotel! Clean and pretty, and very friendly staff. Good breakfast and a nice bistro. Small minus for no toiletries in the room, such as body lotion etc. Location is ok if you like a good walk, ca 20 minutes walk to beach/old town.

We stayed here during the Donosti Cup tournament. Location was great, bus line to Olde Towne goes right by hotel, walking distance to Reale arena. Employees were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great every morning. Hotel was clean and our room was cleaned well every morning. Great little hotel bar, comfortable sitting area and great decor. Would highly recommend this hotel to any one!

Nice hotel that was easy to find when I drove into San Sebastian. Staff were friendly and helpful. First room had shower, my wife needed a bath, none were available on our first night, we were moved to different room the following day with no drama. Good size room that was bright, with comfortable bed.

Great experience! They found out it was my husbandsā€™ birthday trip and brought us some lovey treats. Everyone was very pleasant and the hotel is super clean and well located.

Clean, friendly and very comfortable. Loved 'Alfred Hitchcock' in reception and the excellent cocktails. Not too far to walk to all the culinary details of the old town. Will come again!

Very nice hotel, fully renovated. You can see the attention to detail which went into making the hotel a great and cosy stay. The cinema theme is present everywhere and it is quite well done. It's almost like you're in the middle of a museum about cinema stars! The service is great - everyone was always ready to make our stay as good as possible. Their underground parking is super convenient, and not at all expensive. A pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the center, the hotel is located in a great area with many shops/cafes close by. The hotel bar is great for drinks. The breakfast is quite varied. The attentive staff will also bring you anything extra you might need, like freshly scrambled eggs. Overall, the experience is great. They do make you feel like a movie star! I would definitely come back.
