The doctors are amazing but they need a receptionist that can type and know what she's doing. This was not the first time, it took almost 30min for her to process my bill. She types with one finger. It's extremely frustrating to deal with this woman. I really don't feel like going to this Medical Centre anymore just because of her. When you arrive, she struggles for 20min looking for your file. She doesn't have a filing system either. How do you deal with this? Maybe she needs to go on some courses? Doctors, if your receptionist does not improve then you will be losing clients. It's that simple. She was frustrated when I questioned her about the bill... Made clicking sounds with her tongue and spoke to her colleague in her language. As a paying patient I really don't appreciate this behavior. There's always chaos in the reception area.

Dr Ward is one of the best Doctors I have ever been treated by, he is wonderful with my kids as well, and my youngest is very particular with who he allows close to him-never having an problem with allowing Dr Ward to examine him. Dr Ward has always assisted my family with professionalism and kindness, and has even assisted us after hours and on weekends when we needed help.

AMC is an amazing clinic and they offer so many treatments. Dr Ward is extremely caring and knowledgeable. He has so much time for his patients and great sense of humour. He has been incredible with my Dad’s recent illness and preformed a surgical procedure with a great bed side manner. Dr Paulsen did a follow up session and he is also very knowledgeable, caring and patient. We so pleased as a family that we have found this clinic, doctors and all they have to offer. We would recommend AMC any day!!

Dr Ward and his medical team went way beyond the norm in the manner that they treated my sister-in-law recently. Making a person in extreme pain feel comfortable and welcome is very unusual in our medical facilities. And offering her a cup of tea is a very caring touch. Thank you very much Dr Ward.

Dr Ward is the best Doctor our family has ever been to. He always makes time to see us and his consultations are never the 15 min in and out. Medical doctors from all practices can learn from Dr Ward and should be consulting as long as it takes to diagnose and treat.

The doctor who attended to me was fantastic. For the first time in my life I felt heard by a doctor. Amazing! And she was so empathetic - 10/10 would recommend. Staff are also really friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, I arrived for a 9am appointment, only saw the doc at 12, was put on a drip for an hour, only left at 2.30pm. I was weak, exhausted, dehydrated and shivering from a fever - then having to wait forever in the cold with the aircon. Even after seeing the doc, I had to wait to pay. The receptionist is really sweet and warm, also empathetic and she did her best by apologizing for delays. There must be a more efficient system for appointment management and payments. Current system is time-consuming and I could see the receptionist was equally frustrated, but remained cheerful. It's a good doctors rooms - it's just the endless waiting that I didn't like. Go with an open mind and something to do/read lol.

Incredible. Staff is really friendly. As well as extreme care is given to each patient, they check everything. They also offer multiple services indicating everything is there to ensure you are taken care of.

Absolutely shocking service! My mother went there for an x-ray and now 2 weeks later she is still trying to follow up on the results! She has called over and over again and is met with incompetence! If I could give 0 stars I would! The doctor was more concerned with selling their weight loss product! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Amazing doctor who genuinely cares for his patients, he goes above and beyond to ensure that you are getting the medical attention that you need. You may need to be patient in his waiting rooms (like everywhere else) but it’s more than worth it

The last time I was in Johannesburg I went to the clinic when I was feeling unwell, Doctor Ward was really helpful and the staff were all friendly. They were all professional and prompt and Doctor Ward provided excellent care. I would definitely recommend going here if you need somewhere to go.
