Exceptional place. Really enjoyed my stay. Just fix your wall USB ports not working. The TV position is uncomfortable.

The lodge has a warm and homely feel to it as Ann and her Staff made sure that I was comfortable with everything I needed. Breakfast was unmatched and price very competitive. Thank you for everything and see you again soon.

Perfect place but oh my gosh the manager, Brian!! Very stubborn and knows everything and knows what you deserve, so don't bother telling him your requirements, he knows better. If you have anxiety, avoid Brian. Avoid avoid avoid! I have dealt with him twice before and decided to not post reviews. Like maybe he was having a bad day, then maybe he just didn't like me - all these reasons are valid to me. But now I don't think they apply. Something just isn't okay with him. Now I need to go home for the day, I need to lie down.

A stunning place to go to if you need a respit

A group of us stayed at Sunninghill Guest lodge this past weekend. No complaints as far as i know. I really enjoyed my stay. Loved my cool and comfortable room (room 11). The Lodge is a peaceful relaxing haven. Beautiful gardens, lush trees with lots of happy birds around the hanging bird feeders. Nice pool to sit around. Breakfast was good. Lovely staff. I somehow connected with one of the cats, called Mini. Loved her 🐱💕

The absolutte best place to stay in Johannesburg🤩👍👏🏻we have been staying there for many years, my husband for nearly 20❤️ always clean rooms and a fantastic breakfast. So friendly staff and owner, I love them all after all this years🙏🏽💕I highly reccomend this Lodge to those who are travelling to Johannesburg, Gauteng.This wonderful place is so peaceful and quite❤️the place to stay when visiting Joburg😃👍

Beautiful ambience, neat, secluded from the city buzz and great friendly staff. What a breathtaking outing, a place to refresh and refuel. The ambience and hospitality was top notch. The care extended made us feel like we were the only guests. All systems and processes were so friendly and efficient. The service that I got was horrible. There was no one to help me with luggage as I was being taken to my room. And later in the evening when I requested for an adaptor, the manager's attitude was pathetic. I got so waked up that I had to leave for another more friendly guesthouse. I will never again go to this guest house. The room that I was allocated was average, the floor has no carpet and was cold in this cold weather. The mattress felt like foam and not spring. Foam mattress is not ideal for a guesthouse or lodge. This is my two cents.

Very beautiful, spacious units in a quiet neighbourhood. Our unit had a DSTV box (DSTV, Netflix, Showmax) and Wi-Fi which gave us variety when selecting what to watch.

Beautiful and tranquil. We were, however, not informed that we could have breakfast sent to our room, as such we missed breakfast for the duration of our stay. We did enjoy our stay. We were comfortable.

Sunninghill Guest Lodge is a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of busy Johannesburg. Spacious rooms surrounded by cool gardens and the city noise dampened out. The welcome of birds chirping. To be greeted by the owner every morning and see her mingling with the guests shows her passion and dedication. The staff are professional and willing to do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast had a personal touch with my order being made to my very specification with a warm smile.

My "home away from home" for the last 2 years, wouldn't stay anywhere else. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and great value for money.

The lodge is beautiful and the staff very professional. The apartments are comfortable and well equipped. A special thanks to Ann and her Staff who did their very best to makes me and my family feel at home, far from home. I would highly recommend this structure to anyone that would like to enjoy a business or leisure stay in Sandton.
