Came from out of town and me and my family wanted to try out this place. I had steak and eggs and potatoes along with grits. My steak was very over season. So over season I couldn’t eat my steak.I can not eat cheese. I ask for no cheese on my grits or eggs but they both had it in them. The waited advise me that the cook put cheese on my eggs and she was going to make new ones and all they did was scrape the cheese off the top which still had cheese on my eggs. Another thing is you pay two dollars and something for water and it’s not good water. Waste of forty dollars. I will never eat here ever again. This place maybe need to hire a better chef. The waiter made the overall experience good but the food was a huge disappointment.

I had an amazing experience! It was a beautiful day so we got to sit outside in the covered seating area. The waitress was so helpful as far as making good recommendations for food. The Buffalo dip was so delicious as she said it would be. We got it with the salmon which I’ve never had before. The pasta was very flavorful. I’ve never had shrimp and sausage in my grits and it was a perfect combination. Oh and the strawberry lemonade mimosa was so good too! I would highly recommend.

Very diverse menu, great selection of favorites. I chose the Chicken & Red Velvet Waffle plate. Great brunch, food came a little slow but timely. The venue is clearly too small for their current customer base and they should be looking to expand immediately. They have re-arranged the seating but it still comes across as "crowded".. It's a good lunch spot if you have a little time to pass because the wait to be seated is a bit excessive, especially if you're hungry.

It was New Year's Day and I had been wanting to try a good restaurant for chicken and waffles. So after searching several different places, I decided this spot would be a good pick. I ordered the peaches and cream waffle with chicken wings and a signature waffle with wings for my daughter. Now I would like to believe that my food was hot and fresh and because of this, the powered sugar melted and the peach juice infused into my waffle because at first glance, I was not happy. It was a dry looking waffle that had sweat a bit in the container. The taste was a little chewy, which was disappointing but I will say it was a good flavor. Maybe it was the peach juice after all. Needless to say my wings were seasoned well but could've fried a little bit longer. Overall I was not satisfied with my purchase but I will blame it on being a to go order instead of dine in. I would be open to trying them again but definitely as a dine in option.

Absolutely LOVE this place. I havent been to the restaurant but I door dash from here and the food is always hot and delicious. Their smothered chicken and biscuits is heavenly! The peach french toast is very refreshing and not too sweet. Also their grits are very well seasoned and the added cheese is *chef's kiss*

Swai Fish & Grits and the Fried Salmon Hash were winners in my group. It was nice and warm on the patio. Service was great for a busy Sunday. Highly recommend 👌🏽... even picky eaters will find something to 😉 enjoy.

I ate at this location for the first time today. I had the south side, scrambled cheese eggs, and potatoes. The southside was good, but it was drowned in the grits. It would have been better separate. The eggs were decent, but the potatoes were hard, cold, and tasted old. My friend had the Who DAT lobster gumbo. She said it was good... The service was great, and food came out fast. I will definitely go back....

Visited this restaurant while in Atlanta bc the name intrigued me. Glad we went, food was delicious and the atmosphere was ethnic and warming. The lamb chops were exceptional and the grits had a vanilla taste to them. My husband enjoyed the fish and grits entree as well. All in all I’d definitely recommend anyone to try them. Looking forward to visiting again in the future 💯

Over rated! Mac and cheese was dry. And this was my fourth time there. Paid $113 for this and I should have cooked at home but was trying to show my boo a good time. Lamb chops were overcooked or not cooked enough idk can’t describe it. No special taste to them not were they seasoned enough. And they had the nerve to not have chicken for the chicken and waffles and served chicken tenders instead and I was really disappointed. Didn’t wanna complain because did not want to look ridiculous but had to go again to give them a fair chance. After spending $500 at this place I will not return. Thanks Edit to add: This was the wrong email they sent me so you guys gaslit me to think you were helping for reviews sake but never planned on working this out. Decision stands! Will never visit this overpriced place again. Will go to breakfast at Barney’s. Same price but classier service with better managers who aren’t penny pinching. EDIT TO ADD! They gave me wrong email address to talk about my concerns lol this place is a scam

Very limited seating. They automatically charge gratuity. Everything is in to-go containers. We chose to dine in . The other patrons were really loud so it wasn't a great brunch experience. The surf and turf burger was very good. All the food was hot. The staff was friendly.

Came for brunch on a Saturday. Waited about 40 mins which wasn't bad compared to other brunch spots around Atlanta. The seating is VERY cramped... too many tables in such a small area and no booths at all. The food was really good though. We had fried green tomatoes and Buffalo chicken spinach dip for appetizers... both were great. Had the salmon and grits - huge portion and seasoned well. Also ordered two mimosa pitchers which were really good and worth the price. Service was great, especially with how busy they were. Not sure if the guy walking around was the manager or owner but he definitely made sure everyone was taken care of! Side note: any party of 4 or more automatically gets charged 18% gratuity and it's charged for whole table's bill, regardless if you split checks... that was a little weird to me seeing that it was just my husband and I with another couple.

I visited this place as soon as they opened on a Friday morning and there was no wait to be seated. There is limited parking and space, so I would suggest getting there early. The food prices were decent. I ordered the French toast with peaches, cheese grits, scrambled eggs and a pineapple mimosa. The food was 8/10. The mimosa was absolutely delicious. One thing I didn’t like was that the water was not free (they only have bottled water for purchase).

Girls trip from Central Valley California we are traveling celebrating birthday's when a friend told us we had to try this place and we were beyond surprised. Excellent food people, the homemade biscuits are amazing with honey drizzled over them. A fruity beverage🍸 set the morning off on a great start. Did I say great food! To top it off our waiter Joseph sang an awesome birthday song that brought me to tears 😢 wonderful voice, great service, blessed atmosphere. We are so grateful to have stopped through thank you for the memories see ya next year.

I’ve paid $62 for breakfast for 2 before. However none of the food has ever been served in styrofoam containers. The salt and pepper usually isn’t disposable. Lastly I’ve never paid this amount for breakfast and been served egg beaters instead eggs out the shell! I could’ve went to Waffle House for a 3rd of the price and gotten shell eggs, glass dishes, glass salt and pepper shakers, and wouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes for a coffee refill (that never came)!!!!

My hubby and I finally checked out Milk and Honey, a spot we'd been hearing a ton about. Gotta say, we were seriously impressed. We rolled in right as they opened up shop on a Monday, hoping for some top-notch service, and man, were we in luck! The place was pretty much empty, so the waitress was on point with her attention and friendliness. First off, let's talk about the Milk and Honey biscuit – a solid 10/10, no doubt. It's like they've cracked the code for the perfect biscuit, seriously. Moving on, we ordered the hot honey chicken with a side of milk and honey waffle, and a fried salmon filet with a split between red velvet and milk and honey waffles. The waffles were spot on – not too soggy, not too stiff. The hot honey chicken had my husband's taste buds dancing, and he's calling that hot honey sauce the best he's ever had. My fried salmon? Perfectly crispy and just the right amount of seasoning. We washed it all down with a couple of mimosas – one cranberry and the other pineapple orange. Those babies were bursting with flavor, although I could tell the bubbly used (if it was bubbly) wasn't exactly top-notch. But hey, didn't ruin the vibe. Long story short, I'm totally giving Milk and Honey a big thumbs up. If you want the primo experience, head there early in the week when it's chill. Trust me, you won't regret it. Solid 10/10 in my books – go check 'em out!

To start, we were seated right away.l and it wasn't too busy. Service was great, waitress suggestions were really good and detailed. Atmosphere was cool and brunch vibes. Our mimosa pitcher was great! Delicious drinks. Biscuits are definitely a must have but for my partner he thought it was too sweet. For our entrees, he ordered the lamb that was way too coated in glaze but he was made a fresh order before we left which was very good. The fried Brussel sprouts were bland. He enjoyed the spinach a lot. I ordered the grits that were really good but the fried lobster made it much more salty. I was not impressed with the Mac and cheese but i was told its a favorite. It was just covered in pepper. But all in all, the service was great, drinks good, food was ok but I enjoyed myself. Great to go out with your girls

Once I entered the Milk and Honey Restaurant, was warmly greeted by the hostess at the door with a bright smile. Secondly, I was impressed by the atmosphere which was ushered in by soulful sounds that brought back pleasant memories from my younger years. Finally, my waitress Rachel, introduced herself with a smile and cheerful attitude that lasted during the entire time that she served me.M&H is definitely one of my favorite dining spots.

WOW! Great food, Great service! These people are fantastic! They all wear smiles and let you know that they are glad your there. We ordered the "Nana" French toast, fried green tomatoes, biscuit w/sausage gravy, and chicken sausage. The french toast w/sauce was the best I've ever had. The biscuit and gravy was good and unique. We had the coffee and it was strong and had a unique taste also. EVERYTHING tasted good. I highly recommend this place and I am going back. I can not stress enough about the overall uniqueness of this small Cafe. And people.....don't skip the tipping. Our servers make $2.11 an hour in this country. They rely on our tips. If your eating out, Make sure to let your server know that you appreciate them being there to serve you.

Super busy however still managed to get us a seat at the bar. Food was hot and fresh! Loved the salmon and grits. Fried Salmon was cooked to perfection. Most places over cook it. Grits were smooth. Service was great. Friend enjoyed the wings, although I did not manage to get a picture. The decorum is really cool. Love the homage to Delta and Biggie.

10 out of 10, definitely recommend! My husband and I were in town for my line sister's wedding. We visited Milk and Honey Restaurant 9/3 for brunch and it was amazing. There was about a 15 minute wait. While waiting, we did a mini photo shoot at this really nice background space outside the restaurant. We dined in the patio area which was really nice and we were able to watch some college football (hubby's favorite thing). The food was absolutely 😋. Mimosas were on point and were able to take them to go (my favorite thing). Customer service was on point. Our waiter, Joshua, was amazing! Best of all, the restaurant was a vibe. Melanated people everywhere, great music...you just have to get there and see for yourself. We will visit again!

Well unfortunately I’ve gotta bad review for this one as I was just not pleased and the food didn’t live up to the hype. I had the trout with a cup of “seasoned” lobster, fried green tomatoes, the “key lime” waffle, and my sister had the chicken fingers with 2 sides(grits & fries). The lobster was bland and do was the fish. No recipe no real seasoning blend that offered real flavor to my taste pallet. The tomatoes were heavily battered….like overly…like the most I’ve ever had in my life. I had to peel most of it off just to avoid eating unnecessary amounts of corn meal. The waffle was soggy and tasted nothing like key lime-just food coloring. My sister hated the grits and her fries were soggy with grease. She did enjoy the chicken. I did enjoy the atmosphere, some of the friendly faces that served there, and the prices seemed fair bumping it up to 2 stars. Overrated

My server was awesome the grits were over cooked. I asked for my salmon to be grilled but it came out fried so instead of complaining i gave it a try. It was overcooked and the seasoning was too much. The eggs were not good at all. My Arnold Palmer was nasty. I booked a reservation elsewhere. I use to love coming here but my experience today was not a good one. I still tipped the sever hopefully it will be better

Great Customer Service, Fair Prices however some of the food was underwhelming. I do not record the Banana Waffle. It was soggy, soft and lacked in flavored. The Chicken wings were very small and were not seasoned at all (tasted battered and fried even hot sauce couldn’t fix it) and they were plated very tacky in appearance. They did bring me one more wing that was normal in size. The macaroni lacked flavor. The mimosa was overpriced for the value of what you got $30/Pitcher. The Lobster and Shrimp spinach dip was pretty good and flavorful. The shrimp and grits with the added piece of catfish was delicious. Highlights here: Customer Service, we were seated quickly and the shrimp and grits with catfish.

The best macaroni & cheese I’ve ever had!! The wait was long but they sat us just when they said they would. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile, laughter, and professionalism. It was a truly enjoyable experience. They eve have their very own spring water. I had grilled chicken, mac, & spinach. It was all delicious. My friends had the shrimp hash, shrimp & grits & the honey biscuits. They said their meals were just okay but the biscuits were delicious!! I would give the service 10/10. Totally would recommend and I will be back!

Visiting from Austin, Texas. This food was good. Came for brunch. We had lamb and grits, shrimp and grits, and big chic (eggs chicken tenders and buscuits).. The server and hostess was helpful. I would recommend this place for good food. They actually season the tenders. Kudos.

I got the Surf & Turf Burger. It has shrimp and bacon on it. My only concern is the bun isn’t thick enough to hold it all together. It gets sloppy after two bits and then it all just falls apart. I would suggest a thicker bun to replace what is being used currently. Other than that, very good place to eat.

Nice vibe, loved the music that was playing throughout the restaurant. The stuffed salmon alfredo pasta was very delicious. Red velvet waffle was okay, the fried chicken wings was good & the grits were too salty but overall yummy. Staff 10/10 ..definitely will visit again.

Everything was awesome at my visit today at Milk and Honey! Before I even stepped I the door the gentleman was so friendly along with the rest of the staff! Isn’t it great to walk in a buisness and everybody is nice & smiling…. It makes the entire atmosphere great! Cassie was our wait-stress and she was on point with the A1 service able very friendly! The biscuits are out of this world delicious! I am going back just to get me a biscuit! Our food was delicious and portion size is comparable. Thanks Milk and Honey for having the best breakfast spot in Atlanta!
