We
just
returned
from
a
6-night
stay
at
Sandy
Lane.
Overall,
we
had
a
wonderful
experience
and
really
enjoyed
our
trip.
This
resort
is
as
close
to
perfect
as
we
have
ever
experienced!
The
property
itself
is
beautiful
and
small
enough
where
everything
is
close,
with
a
boutique
hotel
feel.
We
loved
being
steps
away
from
the
beach
(literally,
about
20
steps!),
as
well
as
the
restaurants.
The
beach
is
great
also
-
narrow
with
one
row
of
comfortable
chaises,
so
everyone
has
an
ocean
front
seat.
Our
room
was
wonderful
as
well
-
very
well
appointed
and
clean.
The
bathroom
was
large
with
everything
you
could
ever
need.
The
service
at
the
resort
is
also
top
notch
-
everyone
is
friendly,
helpful
and
eager
to
please
-
probably
the
best
and
most
caring
service
we
have
every
experienced
anywhere.
If
you
ask
for
something
or
make
a
comment,
the
staff
remember
it
and
strive
to
proactively
address
it
for
you
the
next
time.
We
were
very
impressed!
We
ate
at
both
Bajan
Blue
as
well
as
L'Acajou
during
our
stay.
The
food
quality
was
top
notch
in
both,
and
the
service
was
fairly
good
also
(though
much
better
at
L'Acajou).
The
buffets
at
Bajan
Blue
were
incredible
(including
the
Sunday
brunch).
Please
note
that
the
meal
plan
is
a
must
-
it
literally
cuts
the
cost
of
dinner
by
about
65%
off
of
menu
prices,
so
at
$82
per
person,
it
is
a
great
deal.
However,
as
close
to
perfect
as
this
hotel
really
is,
there
are
a
few
areas
for
improvement:
1)
Room
temperature
should
be
allowed
to
go
lower
than
21
degrees
Celsius.
21
degrees
(about
70
Fahrenheit)
is
a
little
too
warm
and
it
was
not
always
comfortable
to
sleep,
even
with
the
fan
on.
2)
Wrist
band
room
keys
are
great
...
but
should
come
in
different
sizes.
Mine
was
too
small
and
my
wife's
was
too
big.
3)
Massages
are
inconsistent
in
quality.
Our
first
couple's
massage
was
great,
but
our
second
individual
massages
were
mediocre
at
best
(my
masseuse
literally
spent
20
minutes
massaging
my
temples!).
4)
"Romantic
candlelight
dinner"
which
is
part
of
the
romance
package
was
nothing
more
than
a
regular
dinner
at
Bajan
Blue
with
a
basic
candle
on
the
table.
It
was
VERY
far
from
what
we
expected.
5)
This
is
an
expensive
resort,
but
some
of
their
pricing
is
pretty
outrageous.
$30
for
a
glass
of
wine
which
costs
$10.99
for
a
bottle
is
just
not
right.
That
is
more
than
a
10
times
mark-up!
6)
While
the
breakfast
buffet
was
phenomenal,
the
black
birds
that
are
everywhere
really
take
away
from
the
experience.
They
were
annoying,
pooping
everywhere,
making
a
mess,
etc.
Most
of
the
time,
the
staff
just
ignored
them
and
let
them
be.
They
really
bothered
us.
7)
For
some
reason,
ordering
coffee
at
breakfast
always
took
forever,
no
matter
if
we
ordered
regular
coffee
or
lattes.
We
were
almost
always
already
done
with
our
breakfast
by
the
time
the
coffees
arrived.
These
are
minor
issues,
which
did
not
take
a
lot
away
from
what
was
otherwise
a
really
great
stay
at
Sandy
Lane.
