Hidden gem surrounded by Sandy Springs. Nice trails with creek crossings. Very good place to relax.

A 32 acres park/preserve directly on Roswell road in Sandy Springs with multiple looping shady trails under relatively big trees. Some along a small creek with few woody bridges. There also few seating/picnic areas. The park is beautiful. The parking lot is of fair size and free.

Not spectacular, but a nice little retreat in a busy area. Nice creek with trails and wildlife.

I love that they have easier and more experienced hiking paths. Everything is clearly marked and the trails are nice and clean. I can't wait to come back. Lots of beautiful flowers too

The trails are fine for walking, but mostly unremarkable. The creek is nice, but the real highlight is a tunnel in the southeast corner which is in great shape, about 300m long, and has about 2 inches of water flowing through it in the pitch black. Highly recommended, with sandals/water shoes and flashlights.

The little mini bridges over the streams were so cool to look at. This place is perfect if you want to go for a hike with little to no people in the morning. I was really intrigued by the storm drain because of how huge and dark it was. I love all the tags on the trees that identified them and showed the variety!

These are nice, easy trails. Most are runnable, but I think that's against the rules. This is a great place to pack a picnic or snack and a blanket and bring the kids for lunch by the creek.

This place is so majestic and such a hidden gem just north of Atlanta. I come here everyday to walk the trails, immerse myself in the quite and beauty of the forest. It's actually very quiet with it being so close to the city. Many trails and a peaceful creek the runs through it. Looking for a place that you can escape the crazy city, talking a walk to quiet your mind or just to take someone to enjoy nature, this is the place! Never crowded and really so peaceful.

Easy accessible place, big parking, clean restroom. There many hiking paths, shorter and longer and in my option all easy. Appreciate such access to the nature in the city even in some parts while walking you could hear cars. And I was missing place to park and lock my bike:-(

It was like the poor man's Smokies! Awesome place for a morning or an evening walk. Not fully paved, but a pretty easy hike that anyone could do. The flowing creek alongside the trail was cool. Just loved it ..

I read the reviews online and noticed that this wasn't over 5 miles from my home and when I visited today I really enjoyed walking the hiking trails, it does have a lot of shade and there are lots of beautiful trees and you must always watch your footing on the trails because there's a lot of tree roots, rocks, hills etc... I got a really good 2 mile hike in and I got nice and sweaty and then I needed to head home to shower and complete my day, this is a beautiful place to hike, I really enjoyed it, and all the hills definitely help me get in a good workout that also offered beautiful views. I will be back soon.

Great spot for low to moderate trails. Plenty of shade from a dense tree canopy. Could probably walk each and every trail in under two (2) hours.. but why? Take a break. Sit down on the benches and listen to the sounds of mother nature...and the occasional car horns of Roswell Rd. 😏

I love these trails. They’re very well maintained while still giving us a far off woodsy feel. My dog really enjoys the creeks and Bridges. It’s a great place for a 10 minute walk or even to take the back trails and spend an hour in nature.

Have loved this place since 2000. Not just beautiful and serene, it's magical. Enormous white oaks shading a rocky melodious stream. Thanks are due to Mr. Forbes and Charlie Cochrane for this place. We miss Charlie, and his friendly welcoming smile and the wonderful way he kept the trails, but even without him and his devotion to this place it is still worth a visit.

Great trails! Absolutely beautiful for being so close to Atlanta. This is my dog’s favorite place. There is a quaint stream zigzagging through the preserve and a long backcountry loop that takes about 25 minutes to complete. It isn’t any state or national park tbh but it is a true gem because it is so close to the city. I’m so happy this place exists. The land is obviously worth millions but I’m very thankful it has been set aside for the public enjoyment. Thank you!

If you are nearby this park and want to go for a quick walk this is a very enchanting and quick jaunt. Enticing beauty with wonderful views. Great place to grab lunch

First visit here and it was a nice one. The park is a little oasis from the busy world though, from many areas, you can still hear traffic noise. Restrooms were available, functional and relatively clean. Trails were well marked though you had to have a map to know one from another. It was tricky to get much more than a mile out of various loops without back-tracking, but for many, that is enough or you just go the opposite direction the next time.

Small yet big enough for a nice hike/stroll to get away from the busy city. There are public restrooms available at the start of the trails. Lots of trail options, bridges, benches, and a small creek. There is a boardwalk only available for a short section in the beginning so strollers are not ideal. Easy hike for a 3 year old. Saw lots of people with their dogs on leashes.

It's been a few years since we went walking here. There have been some trail improvements. It's not a long walk but it's a nice park.

Well matked and we'll maintained trails. You see many people with their dogs or families here. Pretty easy and not too long. The troops also have many loops so you can choose to circle back if you're done

Easy quiet hiking trail right off Roswell rd. Free parking. Well marked short loop with a few little run off trails. Smaller loop is about a mile. Very little elevation gain and not technical. Good easy well shaded nature trail.

😐 Cute farm with lots of games and entertainment for kids, but at nearly $25 per person over 3 it’s quite pricey! Hot dogs are $6.50 and burgers $8! Corn maze pumpkins and mums in the fall, just be prepared to pay! Can’t feed or pet the farm animals either, torture for children
