Rumi’s has a great environment for groups, families, or couples. The service is very good. Our waiter was Temi I think. The recommendations were very good. The cinjeh beef was well marinated. The soltando kabob was very good. We think the Chilean sea bass was a little overhyped. The seasonings overpowered the fish. The veggie kabob vegetables were not cooked quite enough in our opinion. We would recommend you skip the dessert. The Persian ice cream sandwiches have a strong rose water flavor so keep in mind if your order them. The baklava is very pistachio forward and somewhat hard to eat with a. Small spoon. But the Darjeeling creme brûlée was a well liked. I would come back here and recommend this restaurant to it)34/ looking for Persian food.

A great lunch spot for some yum Persian food The most notable here is the service! I never had an empty cup! Love it. The food here is hearty solid! Everything we ordered turned out to be good looking and tasty. The lamb shank, kabobs, hummus, grilled shrimps and wings are good, although I was hoping for some pop in flavors which I did not find. I do like the restaurant ambiance. It’s hip and fun with spacious room inside and some spots outdoors. Valet parking makes it easy to get in and out. Happy eating!

The dolmeh is sweet and tangy, which I’d slightly different from my expectation. But it is a nice way to open up appetite. The Kasha Badenjoon is great to dip with the complimentary flat bread, it has a smoky charred flavor and texture is like thick jam. A must get! Soltani Kabob and lamb shank are delicious too, both which were perfectly tender. Typically skewers can be a little dry but it turned out perfect and seasoning was also a good balance where it doesn’t overpower the flavor of beef but rather enhances the original taste. Lamb shank isn’t too gamy, the flavor seeps into the sauce underneath, which makes it another great compliment to the flat bread. Wrapping the meal up with baklava, it comes in three huge pieces, each which has a good combination of light pastry crisp on top, layered with pistachio and nuts that is a perfect balance of sweetness. One bite of ice cream with a bite of baklava is such a delightful experience. Overall great experience - food is delicious and the restaurant has a great ambiance. A good spot to get dinner on special occasions.

One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta and one of the best Persian meals I've had in the United States. Everything from the rice to fall-off-the-bone lamb shanks was fantastic. The cocktails are excellent as well. I don't give many restaurants 5 stars but this one is worth it. I am grading on a full 5-star scale and do so with an implicit price-value curve. I am aware that many others on social media may grade on a 3-point (4 being an average score) or 2-point scale (4 being a poor score), but the fact remains that Google gives us a 5-point scale. To me, 4 stars is great, 3 stars is average and 5 stars should be rare - reserved for true excellence or near perfection.

Rumi's is a favorite of ours for a number of reasons, but they excel when it comes to service and food preparation. In this regard we never leave disappointed and they continue to impress us time and time again. With that said, this particular location seems to struggle with abiding by reservations. A few minutes late is fine, but being seated for a 7:00 PM reservation at 7:37 PM, like tonight, is very off putting. Although management did do their best to help with this issue, it could be a problem for those with time constraints. Additionally, this location is very loud due to its layout. Acceptable for small parties, not so much for big groups. I prefer the vibe of the midtown location and would recommend it instead, but I will be back to both in the very near future.

Amazing..Amazing… just absolutely Amazing!! Rumi’s Kitchen is a visually stunning. You have a wonderful looking bar, and to the left of it the open kitchen. With so much action going on, you would think it would be chaos. But that is so far from the truth. Our food came out hot, fresh, and in a very reasonable time. I have to give our server plenty of credit, Charity was amazing. She pleasantly, give us recommendations on what to try. She was beyond accommodating, she was truly a pleasant person to engage with. I recommend every business, find a server that is as great as her. Salmon hummusiya- Wonderfully smooth red pepper eggplant spread. Top with delicious smoke salmon. I never had this dish, made this good ever before. A must order for those who enjoy salmon, especially smoke salmon. Comes with warm slices of naan bread. Grilled shrimp (2pcs)- Prawn shrimp seasoned perfectly..What takes this dish to another level, is the jalapeño feta cream sauce. Just the right touch of heat, with a creamy feta taste. Spinach & date salad- Omg. If you are the type of person who doesn’t like salad, I can understand. Some people just don’t like vegetables. But this isn’t your typical salad. This salad has a wonderful date flavor, and it’s not overpowering. The almonds is a nice touch. I also like how the toasted naan, was used in place of croutons. Now if you don’t like this salad, then you need to speak to a therapist. Chilean Sea bass- Best Sea Bass I have ever had. Sea bass was super juicy, and the char was perfect. Dessert- Baklava (3pcs) A must have…Love the fact this baklava isn’t dry. It’s pack full of fresh ingredients and goodness

Food was good and flavorful. The falafel appetizer and the hummus were very tasty. The service and attentiveness of our waitress was a bit lacking, however she took the time once she came over to explain and answer our questions about the food. You get a fairly large portion of food, but I don't feel like the value matched the price. The only other complaint I have is the parking situation. They are Valet parking only ($2 not including tip), unless you park across the street. Getting in and out was a bit of a mess, but I feel that was caused by there only being one valet. I'd love to give this place a 4/5 (the food was good), but feel unable to due to our experience.

The best Persian food I ever had. It's little bit pricy but the amount of food is enough to share between two people. I highly recommend their shish kebab. The servers are very nice. They served a wrong appetizer on our table along with the one we ordered. They let us keep the both free of charge.

Highly recommended by office colleagues and as such was there this afternoon!! Restaurant, people, food … all were impeccable! We really had a good time and they pampered us with multiple hummus plates till we reached the main course😊 Now, I am one of them who recommends this place 😍

When you pull up to Rumi’s Kitchen they will valet your car which I enjoy because you don’t have to look for parking. Once you get out the car you walk right in to the host stand. My table wasn’t ready yet so I sat at the bar and ordered my first drink. It was nice and sweet exactly how I like my drinks. Once I sat down our waiter came right over. I enjoyed the herb plate and I got hummus to go with it. For an appetizer I got Rumi’s wings and baby they were delicious! I should’ve ordered another one. For my entree I got the sea bass because it said limited availability so I was intrigued. I would definitely come back and dine again. My overall experience was wonderful.

Disclaimer I only have one picture and its not the prettiest because I forgot to take a pic before I went all in!! But I'll definitely will be back soon with better pictures. The food was amazing. Loved the labne with the naan and the grilled shrimp. The lamb chops and rice..... were tender and packed with flavor. As for the rice I was a little suspect when I seen the raisins but I forgot this is Mediterranean so its not uncommon for raisin to be used they added the perfect amount of sweetness.

Best Persian restaurant I have been to thus far 🤤 The food, service, and ambience were all on point! Every entree was delicious! Definitely try their spinach date salad and lamb shank with dill basmati rice! Can’t go wrong!

Rumi’s kitchen - great spot, delicious authentic food. Staff was friendly, place is a bit compact but worth it either way, and helps give it a cozy vibe, the bar is super cute and they have valet (not optional and affordable) and the portions are incredible. If you have a light appetite one plate is good enough to share!

First time coming here with a group of friends. I was familiar with the Valet Team there so super shout out to them for putting my car in a safe spot where it was visible! Servers were great. Definitely took time to make sure we were taken care of! I tipped him well and the valet. I wasn’t disappointed!

We had a reservation for 8:30 pm but decided to come a coulple hours early. It was a shot in the dark, but the hostest was so great in finding space for us. We were sat in the patio area, which worked out wonderfully since the weather was a perfect 72. Our waiter was quick to take our orders, and delved into detail on some of the dishes. We ended up getting an appetizer and two feast plates, which came in plentiful portions. Value-wise, it was a perfect alignment of taste, quality, and quantity. This location has a great atmosphere as well. Will be visiting again!

Rumi's is always good! Our go-to appetizers are the yogurt (they used to have trio but maybe over the pandemic they reduced to duo), the smoke salmon humus (last time I had it, the salmon was mice dicy and I don't remember it having alot of the red sauce, but luckily it was still delicious!) and the fried eggplant. I love how the servers bring us unlimited bread!! It's fluffy in the beginning and it becomes crisper as they cold down and it's just so delicious! The lamb here is phenomenal! It's always perfectly cooked and so well balanced with Shirin rice! We usually get Soltani kabob and ask for lamb koobideh to sub for beef. Even though there is a $3 upcharge, we think it's totally worth it! My man loves the peach soda. It's refreshing, and has a very real peachy flavor, not the usual artificial flavoring🍑 We keep coming back here whenever we have friends coming to visit from out of town!

The food is consistently delicious. Their food is with fire in the best way imaginable! You must try the Chilean sea bass, if you are a fish connoisseur. This location, out of the two I have personally been to, has the superior service. If you’re hungry for some great flavor, reserve early so that you can guarantee yourself a table. Thank me later!

This place had the vibe going on. Tuesday, 7pm, packed. Left by 9, still had a wait. The food was amazing. They accommodated with ease and speed food allergies, and everything was delicious. I went with a large event and it didn't even phase them. They had everything working like clockwork. I want to give a shout-out to Jonathan our server tonight. He was amazing. Friendly, caring about my food allergies and on top of everything. Just incredible service. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back for sure.

5 star service, 3 star food. We were there on Tuesday evening for a farewell party for a coworker with a party of about 20. This is my second time eating at Rumi’s with the first time being at the Avalon. Our party was well cared for throughout the meal with 2 servers who were fast, friendly and very attentive. The place is open and generally loud - not bothersome just an observation that it isn’t where you go for a quiet dinner. I apologize for the single picture but I had the steak, some appetizers, desserts and bread. As much as I enjoyed the experience the reason I’m giving 3 stars to the food is because it was fairly bland. Well prepared, nicely presented but bland.

Rumi’s Kitchen was an interesting experience because the environment and the food as a whole. The food was rather dry and needs some seasoning and lacked flavor, I kept thinking to myself there is no explosive therefore, making me lose interest. I enjoyed the grilled vegetables which added some flavor to my main dish. The squash platter or appetizer, had some flavor and the bread was amazing. On the other hand, The service was exceptional and I could not complain for anything. The server would refill my cup consistently, and would always check up on my partner and I. In addition, the server would consistently make sure we had a clean table with no issue and let us know his recommendations. Service was above and beyond in my honest opinion. Finally, this is a place i would not visit back unfortunately, but never hurts for others to try!

I have never in all my years of dining experience such exceptional service. Customer service here was through the roof!!!! Our server was Malik, he was so kind and had such great spirits! I will be here again because the food is amazing, everything was a 100/10! Thank you to all the staff that was so kind and attentive to my friend and I. I had the sea bass, and I guess when plating the sea bass, it broke and messed up the aesthetic of the plating but honestly it was so good I didn’t even care. They brought out another piece of sea bass to accommodate the “ugly plated one” if that isn’t exceptional customer service idk what is. They truly care about what they put out and I’m impressed. My friend’s salmon was a little undercooked to her liking so as they were making another salmon for her, they brought out a complimentary salad of her choice while she waited on her entree. This place is worth the money, the experience, and your tastebuds, because across the board I was very happy and pleased with what I received at this restaurant!

Rumi's Kitchen is an absolute delight! The moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the friendly staff. The food is beyond delicious, each dish bursting with flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The plating is a visual treat, so eye-pleasing that I almost didn't want to eat. And let's not forget the portions – they're incredibly generous, ensuring you leave with a satisfied heart and a full stomach.

Found this place on a recommendation from a friend. I HIGHLY recommend RUMI! The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. The server was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. The date salad was my favorite. The corn ribs were also really phenomenal. I just love food that isn’t fried to death and drowned in grease. Fresh and nutritious food loaded with flavor. Also, they give a nice size pour on wine by the glass. The atmosphere is also super cool. We were able to snag a reservation on the same day.All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Food was good. Wrong temp. Service off. Ambience great. Started the evening off well. Server was attentive and explained the menu very well including the option of having 2 types of rice. Ordered a couple of cocktails and server also brought still and sparkling water as requested -- no extra charge for sparkling water. This is a very nice touch -- the "extra" service that is unexpected. My guess is that they carbonate the water in house. Placed order for dolmeh and server brought bread along with a plate of fresh feta, walnuts and freshly picked herbs. Ordered our entrees and also 2 glasses of wine and mentioned to server to serve the wine with the entrees as we were still sipping on cocktails. The dolmeh was served hot -- delicious with perfect blend of spices. After our appetizers, the server removed our appetizer plates and refreshed utensils with Laguiole steak knifes -- another nice touch! The entrees were delivered to the table by the expeditor. It looked delicious. We started eating, and alas, the wine never came. I cut into my lamb chops and it was overcooked. It was well done until you got to the middle where there was a faint tinge of pink (even though I ordered it medium). The barg kabob came as a pounded flat piece of meat and so was was a little dry and bland. The best dish was the shish kabob. It was perfectly cooked to temp -- medium rare -- with perfect char and seasoning. We finally flagged the server down for the wines and he brought it. When he brought the wine, he never asked how our entrees were -- even though it was way past the two-bite check. In fact, after the wine drop off, we never saw him until our table was completely cleared by someone else -- probably the manager -- who also offered to box up our leftovers. We still tipped him 20%. My pet peeve -- if you are going to ask how patrons want their meat cooked -- please get it right or don't ask -- then just cook it the way you would cook it. If you ask, please get it right and be sure to check in with your patrons to make sure it's right. The lamb chops would have been great if cooked to medium or even medium rare but cooked well done made it dry and not very tasty.

Perfect dining and perfect service. Ambiance is top tier. You can't go wrong here, I prefer the beef but the chicken and fish are also very good. I can suggest the Chinjeh, Soltani, and Shish. Everything is good. Definitely have some Tadig, a crunchy rice appetizer. Everything is good you just can't go wrong. This is probably the best restaurant in Atlanta.

Great ambience, good choice of dishes, generous plates and everything we tried was delicious! The different rices were new to me, but surprisingly they were good on their own and went well together with the meat too, definitely recommended. The Persian ice cream sandwich can feed at least two.

I only have praise for this place. In comparison to the Persian restaurant up the street it is far superior. Food is very well prepared. Pls see pictures. Delicious salads. The Doogh drink is delicious, the way it should be prepared. Compared to the other restaurant where is was watered down and had no taste. Here it was a refreshing fizzy yogurt drink flavored with mint. Fast service. Great parking. And best of all very reasonably priced. We will be back I can highly recommend.

Rack of lamb very tender. I went for the pistachio baklava and was not disappointed. And 5stars for the hot tea service of homemade Persian Tea

This is the best food, service, atmosphere and overall dining experience I have had at Avalon. This was my first time eating at Rumi’s Kitchen and the experience was incredible. Sincere congratulations to the chef and staff for creating such a special place. We sat outside under the covered front sidewalk patio and the atmosphere was magical in the evening as the sun was setting. The indoor dining area appeared equally stunning. The reception staff was very attentive and even though the restaurant was very busy on a Sunday night she found us a beautiful outdoor table although we didn’t have reservations. I highly recommend making reservations. Our waitress was outstanding and very knowledgeable about Persian cuisine and culture. The food was absolutely delicious. I split the chicken kabob with my daughter so the portion in the photo is a half portion. The portions are so large they can be easily split and our waitress was happy to do so. My husband had the steak kabob which he said was equally as delicious. We also ordered hummus and the hot, freshly baked pita bread. Everything was flavorful, tender, moist and cooked to perfection. We didn’t try the desserts this time but we plan to return soon and try those after such a wonderful first experience. If you like perfectly grilled meat and/or vegetables on a stick, flavorful saffron basmati rice, roasted tomato, then I highly recommend. There are also many other choices on the menu such as roasted salmon, Chilean sea bass, shish kabob- filet mignon on a stick, shrimp kabob, vegetable kabob, grilled vegetables, salads many vegetable dishes, etc.,and I look forward to returning and trying them all. I highly recommend this restaurant and congratulate Chef Ali Mesghali for his vision and his passion for Persian food cooked to perfection. You and your staff make the world a better place. Thank you!

Rumi’s will always have a special role in my heart and in my stomach!! The atmosphere is great for celebrating and just having a nice time! The service is always amazing as well. They aim to please! The food is top notch as well! I have gone multiple times and I have never been disappointed. All the appetizers are amazing. I really love the salmon and lamb hummus. For entrees I have had the chicken bath, salmon, tenderloin, and the stew. ALL of them are phenomenal so I never know what to choose. I do wish more entrees came with different rice versus an up charge because their other rices have such good flavor! For a nice food experience I 10/10 recommend getting a reservation at Rumi’s.

I heard a lot about this restaurant and was super excited to try! It's a nice restaurant with a good vibe. They have different persian cocktails that are so unique and good. We ordered sandwich ice cream and brûlée and loved the desserts too. We went for lunch and they didn't have "Tahdig" ready which was a bummer and the most important thing as a persian I should say in their "kubide kabab" they use a lot of herb and seasoning that makes it very different with ORIGINAL persian kubide kabab which is not good!

One of the best Mediterranean place I have been to! Their service is great and food is amazing. Falafel was so soft and fresh. Chicken kabob and shrimp kabob with safron rice are must try for kabob lovers. They have good options in drinks too. Definitely recommend this place for good Mediterranean fine dining.

My husband and I chose Rumis based on the menu and we were NOT disappointed!! He is vegan and I am vegetarian and the menu had plenty to offer. We both agreed we haven’t had food that good in a very long time. The service was great and food came out hot and fast. Honestly no complaints. My husband and I will be driving down to Sandy Springs regularly for this place!

My family"s visit to Rumi's Kitchen Sandy Springs was a memorable experience, marked by exceptional service, a diverse menu, and high-quality dishes. Most notably, the serving sizes were generous, thankfully requiring a takeout box and a second great meal at home. The decor and ample natural light streaming through the ceiling windows only augmented the dining experience. My favorite: the Chilean sea bass, perfectly cooked and seasoned. I highly recommend a visit to Rumi's.

My first experience to dine in at Persian Place. We ordered 2 starters which contains egglant(forgot the name). Ordered Falafal bowl and chicken kabab for dinner. Egglant starters were very different and tasty. Falafal bowl was also good and a decent option for vegetarian people. Husband enjoyed chicken kabab which was served with basmati Saffron rice and rice were amazing.

We had dinner for four here and found Rumi's bustling with activity. Bar completely full and every table seemed full as well. Service was great and bar service was quick. We had the dolmas as an appetizer and chicken and steak kabobs as our entrees. Everything was fabulous and the rice was the best I believe I have ever had! It was fluffy and perfectly cooked delicious long grain rice. We will definitely be back! Urban Cowgill Jan 2023

If you aren't in love, this food will make you find your love that night - if you are in love, this food will make you want to fall in love with the same person again... Food is by far the best Iranian/Persian food I've ever eaten.. Real food, real flavors.. Fantastic service (from Maleek tonight 12/28/21) Presentation was top notch Everything was full of flavor... Everything... From the wings (yes, elegant saffron kissed wings) to the cardamom ice cream dessert, to the truly best lamb chops you'll ever eat (taste nothing like gamey lamb and full of flavor...) this place is truly one of the best places I've ever eaten... The decor is fantastic and even though we were there at 1045 and they close at ten we didn't feel rushed to leave and were treated with the best service from sitting down to leaving... Hats off to the chefs, all of em.. The wonderful waiters... And the owners for incorporating such fantastic flavor and true Persian flavors in every single aspect.

Great service. Amazing food. We could not go inside because we had our dog with us so we ordered food to pick up, I asked if we could have tea while waiting in the car and sure enough brought two large teas with sugar cubes out to the parking lot and didn’t even mention having to pay for it! Took the food back to the hotel and they had included everything they would put out on the table like bread and cheese with other things with our absolutely delicious food! Highly recommend this restaurant 👍

Our experience at Rumi’s was pretty great! The ambiance was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! Marcus R. was our server and upon our request, he made recommendations for cocktails, appetizers and entrees which were all absolutely delicious!! He was very attentive, kind and incredibly helpful. 12/10 service from Marcus! The food was delicious - the smoked salmon hummus was to die for and the Chicken Barg was so tender and flavorful! The only complaint we have is that our reservation was made for 7:30 and after asking several times we were finally seated at 8:45. The hostesses were very kind, we were just disappointed to not have a table ready when we’d made a reservation in advance. All in all, wonderful experience and definitely worth the wait!
