Sara is an absolute magician. Her skills in color and cut are unparalleled. In fact, every stylist I’ve ever observed there is super talented. And the equipment is all state of the art. I also love how their hair wash sinks are ergonomically designed so that don’t strain your neck. My hair has never looked better! Highly recommend Aura!

I’ve learned so much about my hair since being her client, have trusted her with a couple of “big chops” that I’ve totally loved, and every single one of her assistants has been so capable… I love watching her teach and share her knowledge and love of hair. The salon is inclusive and everyone here that I’ve interacted with has been so kind. Plus, from the start, Sara took an active interest in me as a person and would remember details about my life appointment to appointment, which is both so impressive and makes me feel seen! I have been a client of Sara's since 2021, and I have had such a dramatic change in my hair. My hair is naturally curly, and Sara's knowledge of curls is unlike any stylist I've ever met. Really long hair has always been a goal of mine, and Sara has helped me achieve that goal through treatments and regular cuts. I just recently allowed her to give me a more dimensional cut beyond the usual trim, and it is wonderful! I have received so many compliments, which I love, but I really love knowing my curls are in the best hands. On top of that, Sara and her team are all cool humans who love what they do, and it shows.

I go to Madde and let me tell you, she's the best. She takes her time, does a great job, and is just so nice to talk to. I always walk out of there looking and feeling AMAZING. The salon itself is so pretty, clean and everyone is always so nice. Great place!

Enazi is Amazing. I drive an hour for her services and it's totally worth it Every time. Natural Hair Expert. LOCTITIAN!!! Colorist!!! Luxury Experience. Worth Every penny. I feel like I get more personalized care with Enazi at her prices than I ever got paying more at other closer (bigger named) establishments.

I have sooo much to say about this place. It’s clean, aesthetically pleasing, and so welcoming. My hair stylist, Avery, is AMAZING! This was my second time with her and it is so clear how passionate she is about both her work and her clients. I am very indecisive about my hair and some of my pervious stylists from other salons were kind of rude when trying to decide what look I was going for. I wanted to get bangs this time and I was thinking about it for months, going back and forth with myself. When I went into the appointment I was still unsure. Avery listened to my concerns and talked with me until we came up with a plan. She talked me through every step and she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted! Not to mention that her blowouts are INSANE! I have never in my life gotten a blow dry so perfect. I am so so happy with my hair and that I found my forever hair stylist!

Holly is the best! I've been going here for about 2 years to get my roots done. Recently I got some highlights as well. Their hair products are great for my hair! My hair is thicker and shinier, even after coloring every 6 weeks. Holly has always done my hair here. She gives great head massages during hair wash/shampoo. I first went to Aura because it was a 5 minute drive from my apt. Now I live 30 minutes away, and I still go here because I don't have to worry about whether my hair is going to be great or not. The salon is spacious with great decor. They also provide facial and other spa services.

Aura has always done amazing work. They've been able to find styles and colors that work well for a trans femme body like mine. I consistently leave feeling fabulous. Of particular note was the collective job they did with hair and makeup for both my wife and I for our wedding.

I had a great first experience at Aura and I highly recommend Laila for silk presses and balayage highlights! She was very friendly, professional, and worked with me to create the exact look I wanted. Laila was very thorough throughout the process and took great care of my hair! The ambience is relaxing and the space is very nice.

I use Groupon to find somewhere I'd like to make my permanent go-to and after a couple different salons, I'm definitely coming back to be a regular of Holly. I feel really great about my haircut. She listened to everything I wanted, made my hair look great, and definitely had the same level energy as I do. Last salon I went to, the stylist talked so much it was a little overwhelming and not relaxing for me. Holly and I chatted the entire time but it was a lot more relaxing because she was friendly, but focused on what she was doing, which was making me feel fantastic about my hair.

I only recently started going to Aura and am already so impressed!!! The salon is beautiful and the products they use are the best of the best. Ashley is an incredible hair stylist and gets the color and cut right every time! I’ve been getting my hair colored/highlighted for almost 10 years and this is the best it’s ever looked. I never leave the salon disappointed and am always so excited to go back! They are amazing!

Friendly staff and great service! I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment and Heather took me back as soon as she could. I wasn't sure what I wanted with my haircut but Heather was super patient with me and listened carefully. Together we were able to find a length and cut that was perfect for me. I left feeling so pampered and satisfied with my experience. I will definitely be going back and asking for Heather again.

Aura is my new go-to hair salon! My stylist-colorist Avery is just amazing - she's a young talent who has so much knowledge and professionalism; I trust her fully with my delicate blonde hair. I love her thoughtful recommendations and all the magic she does when coloring & styling! In top of her skillset, Avery's got such a great personality, and I enjoy our conversations every time I see her. Everyone in Aura is super friendly and nice; the atmosphere feels relaxing and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

I recently came back to Atlanta after being gone for some time. Finding somewhere that I can trust to take care of what I'm looking for every time is a feat on its own. Eva did an excellent job on my hair today! She also was fun to talk to. Sometimes it's awkward going to the salon, and having to make small talk, with someone you don't know for hours...but it didn't feel that way today. Kelly has been styling and dyeing my hair for about 3 years now and the results are always amazing and consistent, she's the only one in my experience going to salons to nail my hair color every single time no matter what my color was before. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a new stylist. Daisy and Madde did such an amazing job with my bridesmaid hair and makeup! I got so many compliments throughout the night and both the hair and makeup stayed for such a long time- I highly recommend the both of them. All of the staff at Aura was so kind and welcoming!

The worst hair salon I have been. I have asked for permanent hair straightening. They charged me $350 for smoothing treatment and asked me to keep it for 4 days not putting any band or a clip. I followed the instructions and this is what the hair looks like. Leave about the curls it went back to, it is not even smooth completely. You can see the texture of the hair and judge for yourself. Best of luck if you want to go here.

After I got my hair done I decided that I wanted a different color for my highlights. They listened to my concerns and got me an appointment the next morning! I absolutely love this place! I have very thick, wavy hair, and Erin and Joseph are the first stylists I have visited that know exactly how to get it to "behave." Erin is AMAZING with both cut and color, and Joseph magically took my hair from wavy and frizzy to silky and smooth. For the first time in my life, I love my hair! The energy of Aura is very upbeat and positive, and everyone there goes out of their way to accommodate you. Would give them 10 stars if I could!

Timberlee cuts my pixie hairstyle and gorgeous auburn color with highlights. I literally get compliments on my hair every day. I have referred multiple people to Aura Hair & Makeup over the years and highly recommend them now.

I strongly recommend Ashley White with Aura Salon and Spa! I started months ago with a basic, at home red. I wanted something different and told the lady I went to I was looking at summer colors. She went way too pink (almost a hot pink) for my liking and I really wasn't happy. Then, when it was time to touch up, I went to Ashley. We discussed my idea and looked at several pics. We ended up with a blonde and soft pink highlights look and I LOVE IT ((see pics of before, then hot pink, then Ashleys amazing talent)! I'm a blonde naturally and have been red for about 10 years, but I love the subtle pinks and colors! She's amazing! She recently moved here from doing hair for 22 years in Alabama and is building her clientele. If you're looking for a new stylist who thinks outside the box, please consider giving her a call!

I went there to get my hair and makeup done for my wedding. They didn’t have me scheduled for both even though that’s what I had called and asked for. Hardly anyone was in the salon, so my hair stylist had time to do my makeup too. I was pretty scared when she said she wasn’t comfortable doing makeup, but I had no choice as my ceremony was that day and I just wanted natural makeup. The only thing she got close to right was the foundation (although a smidge too dark). I had to redo everything else. My eyeliner was all off and she ended up trying to remove it but leaving big smudges. She didn’t even cover my lips completely with the lipstick. I had to go over my bottom lip. I was too afraid to risk mascara or eye lashes. She redid my hair at the salon because the first thing she did looked awful. I had only asked for soft curls but got all volume on top, no curls. The second time was better but didn’t last through for my 4 hr ceremony/reception. I’m not sure why a hair and make up salon could not meet my simple requests. I wasn’t asking for anything over the top. I will never go back.

Elaina did an amazing job on my hair and was very meticulous with her work. Her technique is great and she takes a lot of pride in what she does. I still get compliments on my hair color a year later!

I have been going to Aura for 7 years and the place is Awesome!. No, matter if I am getting a root touch up or getting my hair highlighted Taylor always does an amazing job. I am not sure if it is the products that Aura uses or the amazing shampooing with a head massage that Taylor does but my hair has never been so healthy.
