As a Type 1 diabetic, I had given up any hope of eating sweets without a spike in bloodsugar. I found this place by accident, and have sampled a wide variety of their offerings. My bloodsugar stays normal, no spikes per my continuous glucose monitor! Thanks to the bakers and chef, who must be a certified genius.

So if you are doing keto and don’t feel like baking this place is prefect to get a quick sweet treat! The best thing I had was the key lime pound cake. The cookies are decent a little thicker than I would like but the taste is great. If your are chocolate fan the peanut butter and chocolate cakes is very rich and has a nice moist texture. The bagels taste like the ones I make at home so overall I was pleased with there desserts! So I tired the dinner rolls!! Game changer!! Loved it

So glad to have found this place! This place is dedicated gluten free. We tasted the carrot cake, chocolate cupcake, choc chip cookie and mousse. Loved everything aside from the cupcake. The cupcake was made from Coconut flour and was a bit dry. No biggie though. Was very happy to find this place!

Received the new Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake and it was amazing! So smooth and balanced. Great if you love chocolate and peanut butter, none is overpowering! Also ordered from the Bake Shop a couple of goodies — 4 orders of bagels — and Zambawango REFUNDED ME FULLY the shipping for my Bake Shop order as they were able to combine all into ONE box! And I got it all NEXT Day! Amazing!!

I drove from Temple to try this keto friendly bakery out and was not disappointed! Very much worth the drive. My favorite was the lemon berry cheesecake, as it didn’t have any of the cool mouth sensation you get from some alternative sweeteners. The girls who helped me were so friendly and sunny! A great experience so delicious!

Boy, I really wanted to like Zambawango but that was not to be. Wait! I did like the lemonade: it was fresh and tart. But the other stuff I purchased were a disappointment. First, the cheddar jalapeno bagel was okay. Second, the carrot cake was tasteless! The frosting tasted like pure butter, no tang of cream cheese at all. The cake was crumbly with no spices: no cinnamon. No raisins. It was bland. The chocolate caramel pie was tough to eat because the chocolate was very thick and rock hard. So when you tried the break off a piece of pie you had to push down on the chocolate, the caramel would spead out. The crust was tasteless. All in all, it was a disappointment.

It was a beautiful place, but I did not like the desserts at all. They had Keto options as well. Parking was a little confusing & the parking deck was dark.

I absolutely loved this bakery. Finding pastry chefs that understand and know how to bake using low carb ingredients is deficult to come by. They ship out our cakes, cookies, bagels, and brownies...and UPS delivers them still cold. Woohoo! Did I mention the goodies are low carb! My son, who has type 1 diabetes, ordered up a Tiramisu Cheesecake, for his 15th Birthday, and it has 4 carbs per slice! We've ordered several times and store the goodies in the freezer until it's the day to eat.

Satisfies the sweet tooth without the guilt! Ordered a carrot cake for a recent birthday: 3.8 net carbs per slice. I sampled the mocha cake and berry cheesecake which were also delicious. My order was placed 2 days before the event and they offered to write a message on top free of charge! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a health conscious snack or celebration treat- I can't wait to go back to try their other dessert options!

Everything is low carb and GF! Really friendly staff and delicious bagels. 5 stars if you can get past the price. See photos. I had the jalapeño cheddar bagel heated with cream cheese and a decaf americano. So good! It’s kind of difficult to find from the road … you’ll see the parking garage before the store. it’s worth it to try.

I arrived Friday about 1:30. They had half selections. I’m a bodybuilder and traveling for a photoshoot and wanted a nice treat for my 3 hour travel back home. I got Cheesecake which taste great Brownie .. not that good Cinnamon roll ok…. No fan here Carrot cake.. couldn’t eat it. Not good Lime pound cake … it was good Lemon cookies. Soft and taste ok Rosemary bread. Very good. If you’re going to charge 12.99 at least cut into slices. I was in Tampa last weekend and got a freshly made bread and bigger loaf for $8 it was cut. But that wasn’t low carb. I spend nearly $100. Honestly not worth the money or trip. Just eat the real sweets and take Berberine supplement. Too much Almond mill powder and alluose can cause digestive issues and I got it

I ordered the bread loaf and the carrot cake whoopie pies. I love this bread. The texture is soft and chewy. The whoopie pies has all the flavors as their carrot carrot cake with cream cheese filling. My order arrived exactly on time the next day and was packaged perfectly for shipping.

The pumpkin cinnamon rolls are out of this world. Soft, fresh, extremely flavorful, super sweet. They're everything you've ever wanted in a dessert but they didn't spike my blood sugar at all! It was hard to eat just one at a time!

Great options for sugar-free desserts!! My mother and I stumbled upon this spot today and we were shocked to hear that EVERYTHING was sugar-free. We tried the carrot cake, caramel brownie, lemon bar, cinnamon roll and chocolate chip cookie. We LOVED the brownie and cake.

Heard about this bakery from a friend a few weeks ago and the timing couldn’t have been better since my birthday was coming up. Had a major health change in the last year, and because of that I am on a low carb diet. Was bummed that my sweet options were limited, but holy cow did this place deliver. This was one of the best cakes I’ve had, and I can’t wait to try the others.

The focaccia from Zambawango is phenomenal! I was able to remain low-carb -- only 2 carbs for the focaccia -- and create a restaurant-worthy brunch of focaccia with eggs and asparagus. I placed some olive oil with crushed garlic and salt on the side for dipping the focaccia. The asparagus was blanched in boiling water for one minute and then rolled in olive oil, salt, and pepper. The eggs were cooked simply in a pan with coconut oil and topped with salt and pepper. Super healthy, easy, fast, and delicious!

We love Zambawango. We've been coming here since they first opened. It'd nice to have a safe place to buy good tasting bakery items when you are diabetic. They also have wonderful coffee!

This concept is absolutely amazing. I spoke with George in length about the bakery. I'm on a keto diet and I'm a life long athlete. My vocation has a fitness component. Fitness begins with diet and so many today struggle with excessive carbohydrate intake. This bakery allows you to skip the excess carb intake and eat your cake, too. This is a must have if you wish to improve your quality of life and satisfy your culinary cravings. I must admit, I feel devilish eating the culinary delights... It's the most amazing thing. Reminds me of the Willy Wonka movie.... You may say this is a heavenly bakery because the goods come without the guilt. Thank you George, you have made a real dream come true... I just tried the German chocolate cake and it is absolutely amazingly delicious! Y'all never disappoint. I cut into individual servings and freeze. A cake will last me for quite some time. UPS will be getting a different review because they can't read and delivered to the wrong address and I had to go find them.

Well I’m obsessed 😍 I know it says to eat the cookie dough but let me just tell you there’s NOTHING better than warm gooey melty chocolate chip cookies and an ice cold glass of (unsweetened) almond milk. I’m on team bake it 💯 The cinnamon buns are great too.

I'm more than impressed with Zambawango!!! Today, I had plans with my mom to get low carb treats for my birthday tomorrow. We have been doing the keto lifestyle for 6 years, and this restaurant has been on my list! My experience was more than positive. Work issues made me run behind on our trip to arrive right at 4pm. They so graciously allowed us to pick what we wanted over the phone, pay, and had it ready to pick up. Actually trying the treats, I'm in low carb heaven! Being on this lifesyle so long, the taste to me is superb!!! You can taste the fresh ingredients and the flavor of each good! I definitely dug into my goodies on the way home. Other people not doing this lifestyle in other reviews I read should understand that low carb food is made for the low carb pallet. My go to place for delicious low carb desserts and homemade breads. I love the rosemary olive bread and whole wheat bread. Super delicious! Excellent for sandwiches and toast. I love the pecan pie and gingersnap cookies! They have delicious coffees and lattes and ciders! They make cakes and cheesecakes. Go and check them out. They have excellent and knowledgeable customer service!
